For instance, Mr. Howard Stark once recruited a German scientist, Dr. Arnim Zola, for S.H.I.E.L.D., who we later discovered was a parasitic remnant from Hydra and the Third Reich, that guy left behind quite a few troubles."

As Uehara Naraku elaborated, he continued explaining: "From Pierce we learned Hydra's existence purpose, which was essentially to obtain the Tesseract, use it for experiments, and ultimately rescue their founder, the Death Goddess Hela.

Fury might have been thinking the same, but his experiments had some issues, not only failing to rescue Hela but instead attracting Loki and the Chitauri with the Tesseract's energy.

Fortunately, Mr. Howard Stark once befriended Akatsuki…"

Tony Stark couldn't help but mutter again, softly urging, "Uehara, enough about that, tell us what exactly happened!"

Uehara Naraku nodded and returned to the earlier topic: "Red Skull betrayed Hydra and Hitler for the Tesseract's power, thereby offending them completely, as they both needed the power of the Tesseract.

Hitler wanted to use the Tesseract's power beyond Earth's scientific understanding to achieve victory in the war, while Hydra aimed to use the Tesseract to rescue the Death Goddess Hela.

However, at the time, Red Skull, who wielded the Tesseract, had numerous followers, coupled with the Allied forces pushing forward on the European front, they couldn't do much to Red Skull, Hitler's ongoing Super Soldier project was also discovered and utilized by Red Skull.

The head of the Super Soldier project, Dr. Erskine received a top-secret order from Adolf Hitler to eliminate Red Skull Johann Schmidt.

Upon receiving the order, Dr. Erskine chose to secretly flee Red Skull's control, and with the Allies surrounding Germany, he opted to defect to the Allies, pretending to be a scientist involved in the Super Soldier project.
