My Alleged Husband

Long, long ago, the secrets between you and me were only hidden in the look between our brows, and I still remember watching every little moment of your life, watching you during the military training in your first year of high school, watching the stars scattered all over the sky.

Time passed day by day, and during this period, Xia Jing had been thinking every single day about whether everything she had done was actually wrong.

Zhang Yichen tried to persuade his father. He knew that even if his father could ignore everything else in the world, he would never ignore his mother!

"Dad, I never imagined you could love my mom so deeply. Seeing you like this, sometimes I ask myself, if I encountered the same thing, would I make the same choice as you? Maybe I really wouldn’t, because you can roam the world carefree, but I can’t. I have my own family here, I already have my own place in this world, and I got here step by step by my own effort, so there’s no way I can just give it up!"

"Son, I understand your decision, and I can completely understand you. I know all too well how hard it’s been for you to get to today. If you make a different choice from mine, that’s only natural. How could I possibly force you to make the same decision as me?"
