The reason for the decline of the Chu Family and their complete removal from Tianpo City traces back to the battle between Lan Yancha and Chu Li. Chu Li was severely wounded and passed away not long after returning to the Chu Family’s old residence.

Though he was immobilized by Gehou’s secret technique, he knew a detection secret technique using Soul Power to search an area.

Within Tang Ming’s residence, there was a formation, preventing Soul Power from penetrating inside. He resorted to a crude method, having Soul Power attached to the road outside Tang Ming’s residence. As soon as Gehou left Tang Ming’s residence, he would detect it.

But even when Chu Kuang rescued him and brought him back, he didn’t detect Gehou leaving Tang Ming’s residence. Hence, Chu Kuang led people to forcefully enter Tang Ming’s residence.

"Young Master, I’m certain. The assassin entered Master Tang’s residence and did not come out."

The elder beside Chu Kuang hurriedly spoke, followed by the sound of coughing from behind the Chu Family people.

If the assassin were truly in Tang Ming’s estate, Lu Zhuang wouldn’t be troubled. Yet, after entering Tang Ming’s estate and his room, they didn’t find the assassin.

This put them in an awkward position. Lu Zhuang could foresee Tian Huansheng making an issue of this incident.

"Manager Zhou, be mindful of your status. I’m discussing matters with your Hall Master here, and you have no place in this. Master Tang, I must conduct a search of your estate. Rest assured, we won’t damage anything. It’s solely for your safety."
