Chapter 2124 - 2120: Bear Woman Hu Bing
Tang Ming arrived in the Taoyuan World without a suitable weapon. These two items aren’t Immortal Artifacts, but they’re perfect for a Martial Arts cultivator like him.
In the Immortal World, these things might be useless to others, merely ornaments, but for Tang Ming, ranked second on the world’s assassin list, they are the perfect weapons for killing.
When Tang Ming was in the Mortal World, he wanted to make some Hidden Weapons, but he never had the right materials, and these Bone Claw and Bone Dart made from Taoyuan World’s Desert Beast bones seem tailor-made for him.
Hu Mei’er sighed deeply, feeling a bitterness she couldn’t express: "In the blink of an eye, I’ve been running in the Wilderness for years. I wonder how things are at home. Father, wait for your daughter."
From her former tenderness to her current coldness and cynicism, Hu Mei’er’s transformation left Tang Ming puzzled about what kind of woman she truly was.
Hu Mei’er, half human face, half fox face, flashed through Tang Ming’s mind. This woman must have a story; otherwise, she wouldn’t be stronger than him while still being humble before him.
"So you’re Tang Ming? You took down Hu Wu with just one move?"
While Tang Ming was lost in thought, a woman’s voice sounded from behind him.
Tang Ming turned around and saw a pair of towering peaks.
The woman in front of him was a head taller, wearing a fitted leather robe and a red leather coat, holding two giant ox-head hammers in her hands.
Hu Wu stood next to the woman, continuously signaling to Tang Ming, who raised an eyebrow: "I didn’t exactly defeat him, just used some clever techniques to throw him out."
"Useless."
Hu Bing slapped Hu Wu across the face, making his cheek swell immediately. He knelt on the ground: "Sis, don’t hit me, Tang Ming’s still here. Show me some dignity."
"Bah. You, the tribe’s top warrior, lost to an outsider, and you want face from me? Watch how I teach him a lesson."
Hu Bing turned and eyed Tang Ming.
Tang Ming was a head shorter than her, not as old as those strong warriors from the Wilderness’s large tribes, nor as robust as the Wilderness’s residents.
"Boy, make your move. Show me how you defeated Hu Wu."
Hu Bing tossed aside the Bone Hammer and reached for Tang Ming.
Tang Ming leaped aside: "Relying on brute force won’t beat me. In this state, you won’t even touch me, let alone defeat me."
"Dodging around like a monkey, what’s that? If you’re capable, confront me head-on."
Hu Bing, enraged, punched another tree trunk, glaring furiously at Tang Ming.
Tang Ming spun in mid-air, landing in front of Hu Bing: "Let me take on your punch."
Bang.
Hu Bing’s huge fist collided with Tang Ming. Both stepped back, Hu Bing looked at Tang Ming in disbelief.
"Great, you do have more than just agility. No wonder Hu Wu lost to you, but I, Hu Bing, won’t."
Hu Bing shouted, three red blood patterns appeared on her face.
The blood patterns gleamed eerily, a blood-red glow enveloped her arms. Her huge body seemed to enlarge further.
"Hu Bing, stop."
Hu Mei’er appeared beside Hu Bing. The red glow on Hu Bing’s face gradually faded. She looked angrily at Hu Mei’er, seemingly waiting for an explanation.
Hu Mei’er glanced at Hu Wu, then pointed at Tang Ming: "Tomorrow, he will go with me and Spirit Tail to the Wind Cave. If you want to see his skills, you can join us."
"Going to the Curse Cave?"
Hu Bing and Hu Wu gasped.
Hu Bing moved to Tang Ming’s side: "Hu Mei’er, what did you give him? With his stature, going to the Curse Cave means death! No, I can’t let you take him there."
Hu Mei’er looked at Tang Ming: "Tang Ming, you certainly attract girls. Hu Bing has remained single for years. If you’re willing to marry her, you don’t have to join us in the Curse Cave."
Tang Ming’s lips twitched, glancing at the blushing giant-faced Hu Bing, then at Hu Mei’er: "Depart tomorrow morning."
"Depart tomorrow morning? Tang Ming my lad, how can you consent to go to the Curse Cave? It’s suicide. Stay at Spirit Tail Tribe."
Hu Bing’s feigned coquettish voice came from behind, and Tang Ming’s hairs stood on end.
Under Hu Bing’s pressure, the next morning, at dawn, Tang Ming called Hu Mei’er to board the Three-tailed Black Fox Spirit Tail to leave the Spirit Tail Tribe.
"We just leave once we acquire the items, right."
Tang Ming’s gaze fell on Hu Mei’er.
Hu Mei’er burst into laughter, shaking like a flower. After Hu Bing’s afternoon-long guard outside her door yesterday, she left reluctantly only when the punishing wind blew.
"Hu Mei’er, you’re still laughing? I’ve changed my mind. Let’s part ways now, I can leave the Wilderness alone."
Tang Ming’s voice turned cold.
Hu Mei’er’s laughter ceased instantly, the exposed half of her face looked more solemn. The Three-tailed Black Fox Spirit Tail stopped mid-air, its demon energy sharp as needles, with three tails erect.
The thick killing intent lingered in the air, Tang Ming sensed the murderous intent in the Three-tailed Black Fox’s eyes.
"Boy, you’ve come this far, going or not, isn’t up to you."
Spirit Tail’s three black fox tails curled towards Tang Ming.
Tang Ming leapt off, jumping directly off Spirit Tail, surprising Hu Mei’er and Spirit Tail.
They were high above the Desolate Forest, Spirit Tail could fly thanks to its Demon Clan’s Innate Divine Ability.
Tang Ming wasn’t Demon Clan, unable to release demon energy to suppress Desert Beasts. Jumping down regardless of falling to death, he’d face their attack.
"Spirit Tail, save him."
Hu Mei’er shouted anxiously, but backed by Spirit Tail, froze.
At some point, Tang Ming held a chain, one end with a sharp Bone Claw.
The Bone Claw latched onto a large tree, Tang Ming swung in mid-air, landing atop the tree.
"What Magic Treasure is that?"
Spirit Tail, somewhat surprised, swallowed.
Hu Mei’er raised her eyebrows: "My father described something like this, but there’s some difference."
"Cut the chatter, that kid’s running."
Spirit Tail’s demon energy surged, charging at Tang Ming.
Tang Ming stretched his hand, firing a few Bone Spurs. Silver threads trailed behind the Bone Spurs.
