Dangling below, Ren Liangchen and the others had gradually recovered. When they saw Yi Tianyun climbing alone above them, his pace slowed, they felt incredibly ashamed.

"Yi, let us handle it from here!"

They wanted to try and hold on for a bit, for as long as they could manage. They didn’t want to see Yi Tianyun carrying all three of them on his own. They had all endured the pain of this climb, so they knew what it felt like.

"Just stay put and focus on regulating the black energy in your bodies. If you don’t expel it, your lives will be in danger! I don’t want to go through all this effort just to bring a corpse to the top!" Yi Tianyun said grimly.

He wasn’t lying. They had all absorbed the energy to their absolute limit. Although they had expelled a good amount of the black energy, which improved their condition, they had only recovered a fraction of their strength. The pressure here was so intense that they would soon faint again.

He knew what Ren Liangchen and the others were thinking, but he just wanted to get to the top faster and not waste any more time.

They fell silent, able only to heed Yi Tianyun’s words. They all knew they had reached their limits and would need a long time to recover. This meant Yi Tianyun had to go on ahead. If he waited for them, there was no telling when they would make it through.

The three of them exchanged glances, and in each other’s eyes, they saw a shared resolve.

As Yi Tianyun swiftly climbed upward and passed through the black cloud, the summit came into view. Finally, after climbing for roughly twelve hundred feet, he successfully reached the peak!

"We’re here!"

Yi Tianyun’s eyes lit up. The cliff wasn’t exceptionally high, but it was incredibly difficult. In a few quick movements, he scrambled up the last stretch, brought them to the summit, and set them down.

Upon reaching the summit, the first thing they saw was a massive Teleportation Array. There was nothing else. It seemed that passing through this array was the way to reach the Netherworld.

It looked like the Teleportation Array was one-way, not bidirectional. Otherwise, people would surely be emerging from it.

"You all rest here. I’m going back down for a bit." Without another word of explanation, Yi Tianyun immediately started climbing back down the cliff face.

This stunned them. Most people, having made it to the top, would never want to go back down. But Yi Tianyun, on the other hand, actually wanted to make another trip!

All they could do was stay at the top and meditate to recover, focusing on expelling the black energy from their bodies. Otherwise, they couldn’t even move properly. They had already been a huge burden. ’The least we can do is walk on our own, right?’

After climbing down, Yi Tianyun didn’t go all the way to the bottom. He stopped right within the black clouds and began to frantically absorb the energy there. ’With so much experience on the table,’ he thought, ’how could I possibly pass it up?’

"Unequip Title!"

Yi Tianyun unequipped the Transmigrator title, which could be removed at will. After he did, the surrounding black clouds surged toward him as if they’d found an outlet, drilling into his body to be frantically devoured.

After absorbing for some time, a crisp notification sound rang out. "Ding! Congratulations, Player ’Yi Tianyun,’ for successfully upgrading the Mid-grade Netherworld Fire to High-grade Earth Level Netherworld Fire! The next level requires 10,000,000 Skill Level points!"

As soon as it upgraded, its absorption rate increased dramatically. It began to madly pull in the surrounding black clouds, which transformed into a torrent of Skill Level points, as if a dam had burst.
