Chapter 503 - 502: Seal
The Transmigrator title had no effect on the Evil Soul’s attacks. If one of its attacks hit, he would still die; it wouldn’t be reflected. However, it was a different story if the Evil Soul itself charged over. That was considered an evil being attempting to close in, and it would be repelled all the same!
The Transmigrator title, however, was limited to preventing evil beings from getting close; it had absolutely nothing to do with killing them. Thus, it only repelled them. The strength of the rebound was directly proportional to the force of the Evil Soul’s own attack.

If it had been at the Saint King Stage before, it had now likely plummeted to the level of the Void Spirit Stage. Between its efforts against the Divine Rune and this latest rebound attack, its power had been drastically weakened.
"What’s going on?" The Great Elder and the others were shocked. They couldn’t figure out what had just happened; it was all too bizarre.
They had expected the Evil Soul to forcibly enter Yi Tianyun’s body for a hostile takeover, or perhaps burrow inside and refuse to leave. In that scenario, even if it failed to possess him, it could at least damage his soul.
If his soul was damaged, he wouldn’t be able to continue repairing the array, let alone strengthen the seal.
