My Crazy Upgrade System

In a remote corner inside the Celestial Nether Altar, a flash of light suddenly appeared, and four figures materialized out of thin air. If anyone had been nearby, they would have been scared out of their wits.

"We’re in," Yi Tianyun said, scanning his surroundings. The area they were in was just a small corner, not a room, located on the absolute outer edge.

It had taken him a great deal of effort to probe his way in and find this relatively hidden spot to enter. The other locations were truly inconvenient.

"Wh-what? We’re in?"

Their hearts jolted. After glancing around, they realized they really had made it inside. It was all so miraculous, so stunning!

"Was that... Teleportation you just used?" After recovering, they immediately looked at Yi Tianyun, their eyes filled with astonishment.

"You could say that," Yi Tianyun said with a smile. After his Instant Teleportation was upgraded, bringing three people with him was no problem at all, and its range had become even more astonishing.

Therefore, compared to before, he was much more confident in his ability to escape, and there were no restrictions whatsoever. No Divine Rune was of any use against him; he could still easily use Instant Teleportation to flee, completely stress-free!

Immediately, they began to clear away the bodies. The most direct method was to hide them in a corner nearby. The area was quite spacious, so hiding the bodies wasn’t a problem. However, if too much time passed, they would soon be discovered.

Yi Tianyun said nothing. He lightly tapped the wall, and an opening suddenly appeared. He slipped inside, and Elder Luo and the others were shocked. They hadn’t expected a secret passage!

They quickly followed him in. The stone wall sealed up swiftly behind them. Just as it closed, a patrol passed by on the other side. A few of them heard a faint noise and looked over in their direction.

"Did you guys hear something just now?" one of them asked, confused.

"I heard it. Sounded like stone grinding against stone, coming from over there."

They all walked over, only to find a solid stone wall and nothing else. They were bewildered. There was nothing here, so how could there have been a sound?

"Maybe it was just the wind whistling through a crack in the wall? Or the sound came from somewhere else?" They scratched their heads and finally had no choice but to leave.

They had patrolled this area countless times; they knew whether or not there were any mechanisms here. And yet, they had no idea that there really was a mechanism right here.

After Yi Tianyun and his group entered, it wasn’t pitch black inside; it was still very bright, with no issues. The passage led straight ahead, though it was unclear where it went.

"There’s a secret passage here, and we couldn’t even tell..." Elder Lei was utterly shocked. They had thought Yi Tianyun had taken a wrong turn, but it turned out to be a secret passage.

"If you could tell, then you would be the one leading the way," Elder Luo said, shooting him a look.

"I was just expressing my amazement, that’s all. Was that really necessary?" Elder Lei retorted.

"Alright, alright... I don’t know if anyone else knows about this secret passage, but this path leads directly to that treasure vault with ease." Having obtained the Netherworld Treasure Map, Yi Tianyun knew all the secret passages within.

’However, just because I know about it doesn’t mean no one else does. The regular patrols might be unaware, but it’s possible someone of Ming Chen’s caliber knows and just doesn’t let the small fry in on the secret.’
