The Antitoxic Pill refined by Yi Tianyun worked at an astonishing speed. When an Antitoxic Pill was specifically tailored to a poison, its effects were excellent. He had even gone out of his way to create a Fourth Refining grade Antitoxic Pill, which was several times more potent than a standard one.

In just a short while, Ren Liangchen’s condition improved dramatically, and the others finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Did you two run into any danger?" Yi Tianyun asked, now that the situation had stabilized.

"No danger here. I had just been transported into a forest. I was about to look for a way out when I suddenly appeared here," Yang Zhiwen said, confused.

"I was at the edge of a swamp, which looked pretty dangerous. Just when I was about to go find you, I was teleported here," said Leng Hu.

"What’s going on? Did Boss bring us here?" Yang Zhiwen asked, puzzled.

"Yeah, I rigged something up to teleport you here. I was afraid you might run into danger." Yi Tianyun frowned. "Good thing I did. If I had been any slower, Liangchen would be dead. A regular Antitoxic Pill would have only slowed the poison, but it’s too potent to be fully cured by one. More importantly, it looks like he was trapped. Whatever it was, it wouldn’t have let him go until he was dead."

He could see that besides the bite wound, Ren Liangchen also had marks from being constricted. He had clearly been squeezed tight. Without a rescue, death would have been his only way out.

It seemed the Divine General Summoning Order hadn’t teleported the venomous snake as well; it could only pull over the person. If he had tried to be frugal, he would have never seen Ren Liangchen again.

He wouldn’t be stingy about something like this. His friends were living beings, while the item could be repurchased from the Shop, so there was no need to worry. Still, the high price of one million Madness Value was steep, but manageable.

They weren’t in a hurry. They waited until Ren Liangchen had mostly recovered before they prepared to move out.

"Thank you, Boss Yi. If it weren’t for you, I would’ve died for sure..." Ren Liangchen said, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. "The place I ended up in was too dangerous. The moment I arrived, I seemed to be in a Demon Beast’s territory. My luck is just the worst." He was exasperated; the others were fine, but he had nearly died moments after arriving.

’This random teleportation really is *too* random. One moment of carelessness and you could die,’ Yi Tianyun thought with a frown. Judging from Ren Liangchen’s experience, this kind of situation was bound to be common.

’To run into trouble right after arriving... if he had died, it would have been a terrible waste. To go through all the effort of coming to the Netherworld, only to die before even getting a good look at this new world.’

"Yeah, it really does come down to luck," Ren Liangchen said with a sigh, looking around enviously. "It’s much safer here. Doesn’t look dangerous at all."

Yi Tianyun just smiled and didn’t argue. For him, this was perfectly normal. ’My Luck stat is extremely high. If even I got teleported to a dangerous area, then all that Luck would be for nothing.’

"Alright, let’s find a place to get our bearings. Once we’ve established a base, I have some business to attend to," Yi Tianyun said, taking the lead and flying into the air. He didn’t fly about randomly; instead, he headed directly in the direction indicated by his Soul Guidance, hoping to spot a city along the way.

Ren Liangchen and the others took to the air, following close behind. Thankfully, they could fly here, or their travel efficiency would have been drastically lower.

Soon, after flying for only a short time, they spotted a sizable city in the distance, nestled in a vast, boundless grassland and encircled by high walls. It was the first major city they had seen since arriving. It didn’t look particularly different from what they were used to; it seemed to have all the usual features.

Guangyun City.

Yi Tianyun and his group landed, reading the name carved on the city gate. Through the massive gateway, they could clearly see the bustling streets within, teeming with an endless stream of Cultivators. In the distance, they could hear the calls of street vendors.

They walked inside. The guards at the gate couldn’t be bothered to give them so much as a glance, let alone collect some sort of protection fee. Cultivators were allowed to enter as they pleased.

Once inside, Yi Tianyun casually scanned his surroundings. He saw row after row of buildings, all of them shops selling various Elixir Pills and weapons. They had practically everything imaginable; as long as you had the money, you could buy whatever you desired.

The passing Cultivators had cultivation levels ranging from high to low, but none were below the Core Formation Stage. Most were at or above the Core Formation Stage, and experts at the Core Transformation Stage were a fairly common sight.

He could even spot several Void Spirit Stage experts with just a casual glance. Back in the Mortal Realm, Void Spirit Stage experts were comparatively rare, but here, he could see several just by stepping through the gates.

Their cultivation levels weren’t exceptionally high, however; they were mostly hovering around the first or second level of the Void Spirit Stage, with the strongest reaching the third or fourth level.

The atmosphere was lively, with everyone hawking their best wares and haggling over prices.

"Hey, the four of you must be new here, right? I’ve got a top-grade Earth Level Martial Arts manual right here. It’s absolutely Rare, I guarantee you’ll be satisfied!"

"I have top-grade Soul Artifacts over here, even Sacred Artifacts! Come and take a look!"

They were all remarkably enthusiastic, driven by the simple desire to sell their wares. However, a single sweep of Yi Tianyun’s eyes told him there was nothing here he wanted.

Right now, what he wanted most was Soul-Nourishing Grass—an item that could grant a massive boost to his experience.

"Do any of you have Soul-Nourishing Grass?" Yi Tianyun asked calmly.

"Soul-Nourishing Grass... No, we don’t have that," the vendor said, shaking his head.

"Looking for Soul-Nourishing Grass, friend?" a shifty-eyed Cultivator asked, seemingly popping out of nowhere. "The name’s Ink Rat. There’s probably some up ahead. Want me to take you?"

"Oh? Then lead the way," Yi Tianyun gestured for him to proceed. ’I can’t believe I actually got a lead on Soul-Nourishing Grass just by asking around,’ he thought. ’What a strange name, though. Ink Rat. The man is dark-complexioned and has shifty eyes... I guess the name fits.’

Ink Rat led them forward with a grin. As they walked, Cultivators from the surrounding shops saw him and called out, "Hey, Rat! You got a referral for us?"

"Heh heh, not right now. But I’ll be sure to bring people your way when I do," Ink Rat replied. He was clearly on good terms with the locals. It seemed there were quite a few such guides around.

Yi Tianyun casually observed his surroundings and noticed other Cultivators being led by personal guides to make purchases. These guides were like touts, specializing in taking customers to find what they wanted and earning a commission in return.

Following Ink Rat, they arrived at a shop tucked away in a small alley. They never would have found it if he hadn’t led them there. Strangest of all, the shop was closed, even though it was broad daylight.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK... Ink Rat rapped on the door and shouted, "Shopkeeper, open up! Someone’s here to buy Spirit Medicine!"

A moment later, the door slowly creaked open. An old man’s face peered out from the crack, a rather startling sight.

Yi Tianyun took one look and realized this Shopkeeper’s cultivation was far from low—he was actually at the second level of the Spirit King Stage. ’This Guangyun City is truly full of hidden masters,’ he thought.
