After preparing himself, Yi Tianyun walked straight up to the Celestial Dragon Remains and reached out to grab it. The moment he grasped the bone, a terrifying suction force began to pull the Spiritual Power and Essence Blood from his body. The pull was incredibly strong!

"North Nether Divine Technique!"

"Star Absorption Technique!"

By stacking both techniques, his own suction power multiplied several times over. Yet, it still wasn’t a match for the Celestial Dragon Remains. The skeleton’s domineering pull continued trying to drain his Essence Blood. However, his counter-suction did manage to weaken it slightly.

’Still not enough... Equip the Evil Dragon Set!’

He instantly equipped the Evil Dragon Set and activated its terrifying Devouring Power. It was as if a black hole had appeared in his palm, immediately pulling with an even stronger force. Finally, with this triple-stacked power, the Celestial Dragon Remains could no longer drain his Essence Blood. Instead, the energy within the skeleton was viciously siphoned out and poured into his body.

However, what he was absorbing wasn’t experience, but energy for his Dragon God Bloodline!

His Dragon God Bloodline gained 500 points, then 800 points, then 700 points...

Normally, the Dragon God Bloodline required Madness Value to upgrade. But now, he could strengthen it just by accumulating these points. The amount he was gaining was a bit low, though, maxing out at eight or nine hundred points at a time. Considering his current fourth-grade Dragon God Bloodline required one million Madness Value to upgrade, it would take quite a while to absorb enough.

If the Celestial Dragon Remains didn’t have this suction force, his absorption speed would surely be faster. Still, the fact that he could absorb its energy at all was a good thing; he couldn’t expect it to provide a massive amount under these conditions.

What once required Madness Value to upgrade his Dragon God Bloodline now only required simple absorption. This fact alone was very satisfying. At least he was making progress.

If he kept absorbing like this, his Dragon God Bloodline was bound to level up. The power he could unleash then would undoubtedly be even more astonishing.

"Are you kidding? I’d be lucky not to be sucked dry by it! Trying to absorb the energy from these Celestial Dragon Remains is too difficult. I tried before, and it didn’t work at all... Just when he thought it was nothing, a series of KALA KALA sounds echoed from the entire skeleton. The Celestial Dragon Remains was actually moving. A furious roar followed. "Foolish human! You dare absorb my energy?! You’re courting death!"

The Celestial Dragon Remains began to move slowly, its motions stiff and not at all fast. But as it continued to move, its speed rapidly increased.

Yi Tianyun quickly let go and jumped back. Immediately, the Celestial Dragon Remains rose to its feet, its entire skeleton emitting a loud, grating CREAK.

"It’s actually moving? It came back to life?" Ren Long was shocked. Even Yi Tianyun was surprised; it seemed the skeleton still possessed its own consciousness.

Having risen, the Celestial Dragon Remains violently whipped its massive tail toward them. With a SWOOSH that sounded like the sky itself was Breaking the Sky, the tail swept across a huge area, carrying with it a terrifying and incomparably domineering Celestial Dragon Power!

"Dodge!"

Yi Tianyun quickly dodged backward, but he was too close. Just as the tail was about to hit him, a pair of hands grabbed him and pulled him back at high speed!

The one pulling him was none other than Ren Long! He threw Yi Tianyun out of the way, shouting, "Get clear!"

Yi Tianyun was thrown clear, but Ren Long remained in the attack’s path. Yet, a smile appeared on Ren Long’s face, as if he didn’t mind at all.

Yi Tianyun’s pupils contracted. He never expected Ren Long would choose to take the blow for him!

In that instant, he grabbed Ren Long’s arm. With a flash in his eyes, they both vanished. The next moment, they reappeared at the edge of the area, having successfully dodged the sweeping tail. However, a wave of Celestial Dragon Power still washed over them. Their expressions darkened as they quickly launched attacks to block it. With a loud BOOM, both of them were sent flying.

Yi Tianyun was relatively okay, but Ren Long’s hands were trembling uncontrollably from the impact. The Celestial Dragon Power was just too tyrannical; even though they hadn’t been struck directly by the tail, it felt as if they had taken a heavy blow.

’Even as a skeleton, its power is immense...’

Yi Tianyun looked up, and detailed information appeared before his eyes.

The Celestial Dragon Remains threw its head back and let out a guttural roar that echoed throughout the grand hall, deafening in its intensity. The sonic waves alone were enough to make them feel immense pressure. How terrifying must it have been when it was alive?
