Yi Tianyun narrowed his eyes. It was essentially a pure Transformation Technique, meant to swiftly neutralize attacks. However, Niu Tuntian was expelling it directly, making it seem as if the attack had passed right through him, inflicting negligible damage.

"Haha, you idiot! Attack all you want! It’s completely useless! As long as Old Niu has fully unleashed Devouring Heaven and Earth, anyone who isn’t overwhelmingly powerful is helpless against it!" Ba Long and the others finally felt a bit better, at last seeing a glimmer of hope.

The morale of the onlookers rose slightly as well, and they started to believe that Niu Tuntian could defeat Yi Tianyun!

Although his attack had been ineffective, Yi Tianyun hadn’t been pulled in, and his Spiritual Power hadn’t been stripped away. Overall, he was completely fine.

Sensing danger, Niu Tuntian immediately stopped using his Martial Arts and instead swung his massive axe down with all his might. Thunder Light flickered, and a bolt of Divine Thunder once again descended from the sky, aiming to strike Yi Tianyun.

"Break!" Niu Tuntian roared.

The furious bolt of Thunder Light struck down, but as it neared Yi Tianyun, he swiftly absorbed it. It transformed into a massive amount of experience that surged within him. The attack was completely absorbed. Before it could even touch Yi Tianyun, it had vanished without a trace.

In reality, Yi Tianyun hadn’t fully absorbed it. He had used it in conjunction with the Star Absorption Technique to neutralize its power. He only absorbed a portion of the energy; the rest was simply dissipated.

"What’s happening? He knows Devouring Heaven and Earth, too?"

Everyone was stunned by this scene. No one had expected Yi Tianyun to know this technique as well, absorbing the attack so completely that not a trace remained. The crucial difference was that Niu Tuntian had to use his mouth to devour, while Yi Tianyun absorbed directly through his palm. It was obvious which method was safer.

However, Yi Tianyun was already on him. In the blink of an eye, he closed the distance and seized Niu Tuntian’s wrist. A terrifying suction force immediately began to violently drain the Spiritual Power from his body.

"Get off me!" Niu Tuntian roared, violently shaking his arm to throw Yi Tianyun off. But Yi Tianyun’s slender palm pressed down hard. BOOM! Niu Tuntian was forced to one knee, almost slammed flat against the ground.

This scene left many of the onlookers dumbfounded. Niu Tuntian possessed the Wild Bull Bloodline, making his strength incredibly formidable. Who would have thought that a single press of a hand could force him to kneel on the ground!
