There was another person besides the nurse, someone I had never seen, when Colette left the hospital room with Reiner.

The neutral looking man with a friendly smile named his name Elle. When I was a year old, I got the impression that I was about the same or younger as myself and the liner.

Elle said he came to this village today as a merchant apprentice. And as soon as we talked about coming from the neighboring town, and the liner ate up.

"Didn't you see the pair wearing black robes on their way to this village!?

In the words of such a liner, the unpleasant feeling that was smoking in Colette turns into certainty. Reiner is going to attack his parents and chase the robber who took the sword away.

Think common sense. That's hard. Working out the liner from day to day, that is, challenging the two stronger than the liner to the losing opponent by himself is tantamount to suicide. If we testify here that Elle saw the shadowy people who attacked the Griffith family, Reiner will follow them immediately.

So Colette didn't know about it, she wanted me to answer that I hadn't seen it. But that prayer doesn't make sense.

"Speaking of which, I think my uncle said he saw a suspicious figure during the night. I don't know if it's those two."

"Is that true!?

"Yeah. I'll ask my uncle about it."

I can't stop clapping.

Uncle, that seems to mean the pedestrian Elle is following around. Follow El and come to the few inns in the village.

Elle waited a little while before leaving and disappeared upstairs.

A few minutes in time. Elle reappeared with one man.

"Please wait. Uncle, the liner and Colette these two just talked about."

"Hello. I heard you talk, but you seem to have had a rough time."

"Yes... Um, so I heard you saw a suspicious figure last night, remember what it was like?

"What's it like, huh? I didn't see it so clearly in the dark because I was just lighting a night light too... you know, even in the middle of the night it was like wearing a robe deep in my eyes."

"Anything else?

"Later it looked like he had a box or something, an elongated mon"

"Definitely, that's them!

The liner suddenly shouts out loud.

A pair of robes with something like an elongated box. And it also matches the direction in which he escaped.

If all the conditions are in place so far, there's a good chance those two are robbers. That means that the liner's guidelines for action have been clearly determined.

"You can't do this. We need to go after them soon...!

"Oh, calm down, liner."

"That's right. I'm ready to go after him, and I can't keep up with him like that."

Colette trying to forgive the liner. It was Elle's, extremely honest and sober opinion that covered it.

That lowered the amount of blood that was rising on his head, the liner dropping the tone of his voice.

"But... I want my sword back. It's very important to me."

"That's why it's dangerous for Mr. Leona and the others to fight alone without winning."

"I know, but is that why you can't miss them?

"You didn't say that! I know who they're dressed for, and I know who they are, so if you ask the guards or the Knights, they'll catch you."

He said, "If you do something that long, you'll get away with it!

The liner heats up again. I get caught up in that and Colette's tone gets rough.

The two opinions were parallel lines wherever they went.

The sound of pampering sounded to block those two arguments. The Lord of Sound was Elle, who slapped his hand.

"Shall we both calm down? Go after him. Call the guards. Move fast, but it's lucky. This kind of thing is about speed being the division of battle."

"Ugh, sure..."

"I mean, I think we should have contacted the guards sooner. Either way, it's not gonna be a bad thing."

There was no word to give it back. Sometimes I was confused and couldn't think that far, but it was harder to say that my thoughts were normal because of my anxiety and fear that the liner would go after the other person than that.

With a collet like that on her ass, Elle said this when she took the pen and parchment out of her big shoulder bag, she laughed at Nicole

"I'm good at sketching. Let me know if you've seen the other person. It might help us find the killer."

Elle sighed small as she stared at the personage she had written up herself.

He seems to think a lot and move, and Harold wonders if he's pretty much out of it.

The man's face I heard from the liner was a young man with slightly cheeky purple hair. There are also testimonies that there was no vivacity in the eyes, and as Harold said, emotions are missing, but it would be because.

If this touches around, Harold and the others agree that it will be difficult to move. I can't hide my face for four or six hours, no matter how much. It stands out what would happen if there were such a person. Touching people's eyes also increases the risk of identity being exposed.

It's a simple story.

Elle broke up with the liners when she told them that she would deliver this to the guard. And when it gets to the point where it's not popular, it puts the copybook in the back of the bag.

This time, I happened to be able to stop them from getting called in really lucky. Even though I'm not Harold himself as Elle, I don't think I'm letting my buddies find out his face, it's an entirely intention-pointed event.

I did some exploring while finishing my opponent's book, but the fact that I saw the other person's face was that I hadn't told other adults or the doctor at the clinic yet.

If Elle crushes this, Harold is somewhat less likely to be in trouble. And what El chooses is naturally a cover-up of facts.

For now, I'm pointing a fast horse at Harold's, so if I can get confirmation that I let him expose his face intentionally, I just need to get it back to where it belongs.

It's more troublesome than some, but it's also because Harold doesn't even try to provide the least amount of information. You don't have to, maybe you think. In other words, it is not trusted.

It would be somewhat easier for me to move as an El if I could at least know what Harold is working for.

Well, there's nothing I can do about it where I just mourned that.

Elle had more to worry about than that.

Recall the earlier exchanges between Liner and Colette. Whilst Reiner wants to pursue the robber as soon as possible, Colette is seeking a solution by a third party using the appropriate means.

I don't care which is right or not. The two opinions crack if they stay this way, and only the liner threatens to start tracking them.

Harold's story was that those two were coming after each other. At least that's what I'm sure you expect.

So what if Liner and Colette take a different action?

This is another troublesome story, but we need to get Colette to come after us somehow. It is possible that Colette will not behave with the liner at once, because it will be communicated at an early stage.

All you have to do is observe the two of them, while waiting for a response from Harold.

Elle went back to the two of us thinking about that. But there was no sign of the liner there.

"That, what happened to the liner?

"... he said he'd go after those people and get ready for it."

Preparation is probably weapons, equipment, or so-called travel support. The liner is already perfect, and that's probably what I'm going to go after right now.

I think of him like that. Colette still looks unfloated.

"Are you worried? About the liner."

"Yeah. I don't care what you think..."

"Sort of. But if you think so, wouldn't Colette follow you?

"I can't do that. No. I'm not good at fighting..."

I don't like it, Colette said. Maybe that's true in itself.

But there are things on both legs and thighs. A black leather holder that holds a circular bar. There's no prey, but it's probably meant to hold a weapon.

Being able to fight against not being good at fighting is not something that is tied in equals. If you've spent a lot of time with Reiner since you were a young child, you can also fully assume that you have some martial arts tricks from Reiner's parents.

On top of that, was it the innate temperament that made you feel bad about fighting so far, or was it also an event that planted an aversion to fighting in her past?

(Past, huh? Speaking of which, Harold had a mouthful that seemed familiar with Colette and Liner...)

So far, the face of a collaborator whose qualities could not be known to the top came to mind.

I think I'll put in a little exploration, including around there.

"And what were the robbers who broke into Reiner's house?

"Out of the way?

"Words are bad, but this is a small village away from Wang Du, and there's not much gold stuff, is there? And yet I think there was a clear intention that you went out of your way to steal it."

"That's the sword that was stolen? I wonder if it just so happens."

"The robbery that happened to go into stealing was stronger than Reiner's parents, who were former adventurers. Such a coincidence seems unlikely."

If the coincidence goes on and on, that means it's inevitable. Naturally, one case was structured this time.

It makes a difference in behavior when you have to have that kind of awareness or not. I hope Colette and Liner are prepared to look at things suspiciously, Elle thinks. Thank you. These two are too honest because they grew up in the country.

"Sure, when they say that..."

"Maybe that's all the stolen swords were worth it. I'm just curious."

It is a treasure sword that was thought to be fantastic at any rate. It stifles my interest in what's wrong with Elle, a lump of intellectual curiosity.

There's no way there's anything because that Justus is using far-fetched means to collect it.

"It sounds like the sword I unearthed from the dungeon when Reiner's father and mother were adventurers,"

"Dungeons. You have romance."

"Really?

"What do you mean, it's synonymous with a thousand bucks?

In order to put exploration into Colette's past, he first tries to create intimacy in a conversation without other love. I don't even feel alert enough to unravel it, but I just can't step that far all of a sudden. Though it won't be effective tomorrow, it's definitive to see each other again in the future. Think about it and these little piles will live on in the future.

Afterwards, wait for the liner to talk to Colette about not being poisoned or medicated.

And for the moment when the fuzz broke off the conversation, Elle muttered meaningfully.

"Nevertheless, a robber in a black robe."

"You know something?

"No. It's just that people are associative when they hear black robes and black scum."

"Someone to be associated with?

"Have you ever heard of Colette? The name Harold Stokes"

As soon as I came up with that name, Colette's complexion changed with clarity. It was like saying eloquently that it had some sort of relationship with just that already.

He seems to be trying to hide his upset, but he's fatally bad at lying.

"Hey, I've never heard of you."

"It is. He's a famous man in Wangdu. I'm not that old as Colette or Reiner, but now they call me the best bad guy in the kingdom."

Colette's expression distorts me sadly.

Elle does not stop talking while observing the condition.

"A rebel who was a knight but tried to wage war by betraying his country. Nightkiller, a knight-killer who quit the Knights and tragically killed more than dozens of his former companions. It's typical of this place, but it's essential for other anecdotes that speak of his treachery."

……

At last Colette was silenced. I don't want to hear about it, but I lean down.

You'd be surprised if you didn't know about a human rumor called Harold: "Is there such a villain?" If you know it, there are a lot of people in tune with "He's a hell of a big sinner".

So what kind of person would react like Colette?

Perhaps if Harold is not as bad a man as he hears rumors, if he understands his nature to speak, he may not be able to listen to Elle or anything else. That means a rare person who has touched a very hard to understand tenderness of a man who, if he opens his mouth, is full of irony and ridicule.

"Maybe this time the killer is a man named Harold..."

"That's not true! Master Harold would never...!

The word "do not", which would have followed, would not have been spewed out until the end. That's not because Colette doubted Harold and said it, but because he managed to hold back the words that he uttered in his gut.

And that was completely too late.

Colette's face blues slightly. As if "I've spoken of something I shouldn't have said”.

"... Hey, Colette"

"Chi, no. It's different now..."

Colette shakes her head left and right and desperately says "no" back. The way it looked was so weak and frightened of something that it seemed even younger than its real age.

I want to keep it hidden enough for Colette to be so wolfy, a past in which Harold would be heavily involved. That kind of thing exists, Elle gained certainty with this. And for Colette, I make a decision that can be considered heartless.

"I get it. I won't ask."

Put an apparent smile on your face to reassure you. Honestly, she was so fooled by it, she just shrugged, thank you so much for being small.

There is no way for Colette to know what's inside of the thankful Elle.

Colette Amerail. Explore her background and you'll get a glimpse of one end of Harold's secret.

It wasn't long after that that Elle began to wash out Colette's past.
