Hugo Grafton is one of the main parties in "Breve Hearts". He is the character of a so-called shield, avant-garde with high firepower and high defense.

Also in the story, he is sometimes the oldest twenty-three years old in the party, and is portrayed in the position of the protagonists as good brothers. Usually he's a bully, but when he says he has a problem, he depends on him.

It was an entirely unexpected event for Harold to meet him at the ruins of Heybar like that.

First of all, it is miscalculation that it was the emergence of 'Trinity' without trying. From now on, I'll probably have to stand in front of the liners in this outfit. And not only will you come into contact as Harold.

It is possible that the same person will be accounted for at that time. I hated that and hit that much of a play against Liner and Colette, but I wasn't ready to do that or anything about Hugo.

Then I should have broken up and acted as it were, but I couldn't have said so when it came to that.

The ultimate reason for this is that Hugo plans to be one of the liners at Cadiz Ruins. This ruin of Cadiz appears pretty much at the beginning, which means Hugo will be one of us faster than anyone, except for an early member named Liner and Colette.

At the moment, the liners are already on a journey to regain their treasure sword. It will take around three weeks to travel on foot from the ruins of Heybar to the ruins of Cadiz. Depending on the circumstances of the liners, Harold had to expel Hugo from the ruins of Heybar as soon as possible.

So without stopping, I decided to just attack the ruins with my face hidden. I also thought about making a connection as Harold, but what I didn't do was decide that it might be a hassle later if I scattered who I was without a bottom preparation or a clear plan.

Harold was forced to tread the ruins for the above reasons, but for what it was worth, he received information that a large man with short blue hair began to accompany the liners, according to a regular report he entered later from El. The man won't go wrong in Hugo because of the outfit he heard about, etc. Apparently, it was a critical time.

More than two months since I met Hugo like that. In the meantime, Harold continued to collect treasures from all over the continent as ordered by Harrison. And at present, we had already come to the point where there was only one place left after collecting the six.

On the way, I thought it was going too well, Harold, but as far as regular reports from Elle were concerned, the liners seemed to be completing the original story at a pleasant pace.

As a matter of fact, Harold has been haunting his mind about something called this offensive pace for a long time. Although playing the original game, it was because it was unclear how long the whole time was going on in the making. Without seasonality, there is no information about the date of the year. Is it six months, a year, or more? I was in a hurry when it came to Hugo because I couldn't read through here.

But if you think about it, it's a battle of salvation to stop a plan that's going to ruin the world. Naturally, it will be a massive battle involving the continent, and that may already be called war.

It would be difficult to say whether the main party, which can only be up to six people, will be able to fight through so many things for so long. If we don't settle in the short-term showdown, the liners who are undoubtedly less powerful will be at a disadvantage.

So maybe this battle, the original story, is a story in a shorter time than Harold assumed.

That's what I was beginning to think one day.

It was just when I finished collecting my sixth treasure and had free time until my next destination was communicated. It's been a long time since I've been back at the lab and I got a call from Justus. I only had a bad feeling, and I turned to Yustus' lab reluctantly while poisoning him inside that the manservant was a rough guy again.

Knock also cut out the story quickly as he entered the room there.

"What is it?

"Harold? Something's a little troublesome."

"You're a pain in the ass."

"No, not so much as I am."

"I can't see the story. Stop what you're saying."

"You're really short minded. Then I'll skip the roundabout, but you'll remember Reefa, won't you?

"... what's wrong with him?

With Reefa's name coming out of Justus' mouth, Harold managed to distort his face. I was pretty distressed just to reply so I wouldn't put it on my face.

And Justus relentlessly throws a bomb at me as if he's seeing through Harold's mood like that.

"Hi. Looks like she's been sniffing around about you lately. Eliminate it?

My head hurt. It's called Colette, it's called Hugo, it's called Reefa, how can you be acting differently from the original? Thanks to this, Reefa has been blinded in a different way than she feared.

This is troublesome now. eliminate, not to mention kill.

If Harold here accepts that, of course, if he sticks around saying it doesn't matter and leaves it to Justus to judge, he'll either kill Reefa by some means or use it for the plan.

Naturally that is unacceptable. If so, Harold himself will have to move.

"... where is he now?

"Oh, you think you're going out in person?

"There won't be a problem"

"Well yes..."

"Sounds like you have something to say."

"I was just surprised. I didn't know you were the oldest girl who didn't even go."

"Screw you, madman"

Harold just got out of the lab when he asked where Reefa was, cursing Justus in direct-ball terms, who had been suspicious of Loricon with a very serious face.

Elle told me that there were some puzzling points between Harold being told to execute and becoming an Institute subject. And whatever is suspicious, even from the past of the encounter with Harold that Justus talked about, some intent is still hidden.

If we can uncover that, we'll know the circumstances surrounding Harold, and maybe we'll see what he's trying to accomplish by risking his life.

Would they say there's no point in doing that? Still, I couldn't have known the fact that Harold's life was scarce and yet I was taking no action.

Maybe the art of saving Harold is left behind.

Well, with that said, that bigoted man would look disgusting instead of grateful. That's why I didn't tell him. I'm sneaking around to find out what happened at the time Harold was sent to the council.

And about a month after the investigation began. There was an obviously irritating look of Harold in front of Reefa.

The place is in a building somewhere. Maybe it's underground when you see where there's not a single window.

Speaking of why this happened, he was suddenly deprived of his body freedom in an alley that was less popular if he was somewhat listening in Wang Du, and even abducted shortly after he was blocked to his sight and raised his voice. He was taken away without being able to resist, and when the cloth that had covered his eyes was removed after a while, there was Harold in front of him, who had his temples wrapped.

I don't know where or by what means this place was brought in, but I guess Harold ran it alone because there was only one sign of a person from abduction to here.

"So, what were you doing?

The word "grumpy" sounded like a voice.

"... anything at all, right? I don't know. Just figure this out."

My body is tied to my chair with each arm, and I shake my restrained body in a giddy fashion. But Harold doesn't try to fit in at all.

"Answer my question. What have you been up to?

My voice and the color of my eyes get sharper and sharper. Apparently it's hard to cut Shira.

I guess I already know what Reefa was up to at the time Harold came out like this in the first place. Otherwise there is no reason for him to be so grumpy.

So I didn't want to find out, but when this happens, resistance is pointless. Reefa opened her mouth in notion.

"... I was looking into Harold's past."

"For what?

"... because I don't want Harold to die. Maybe we'll find a way to save your life."

That was Reefa's undisputed mood, and it was the most behavioral principle of the day.

If you don't even know how much more life Harold has left, maybe even if you were helped, your life expectancy would just grow marginally. I guess it's about one in 10,000 possibilities to be able to help in the first place.

But even if this behavior is pointless, it doesn't deserve a reason to give up Harold's life. At least for Reefa, Harold is the first person to acknowledge the hard work and achievements that can be described as his life itself, although he is not very good in character and a sarcastic disgust.

Although I'm sure Reefa will only understand how much the pleasure was.

"Stop it now"

"I don't want to."

"Don't be ridiculous. You want to die?

"The danger is well known."

He's talking about a realm that would kill him just for putting in an exploration for now. It was an increasingly unusual word, and a reminder of how Harold stood around in the danger zone.

Well, maybe that's natural, too, because you have enough purpose to be redeeming your life. As a reefer, I couldn't pull it off any more.

You felt such a strong will, Harold has changed the incision.

"Why would you do that? You want to thank me?

"It's not like that. Rather the other way around."

"What?"

"I'm grateful to you. Enough to risk your life."

Make sure you're not as good as Harold when you can finally expose your honest feelings in a situation like this. Maybe you're twisted.

And Harold looks surprised when he says that. I wonder how I don't know I'm appreciated.

"I don't remember being thankful"

"I guess. I don't think you understand."

So that's just a futile thing to worry about, a fact that I won't cover up in any word I try to persuade you to do.

"... if you're thanking me, listen to me."

"That's not what I'm talking about! I want to help you."

"I didn't ask you to do that, and you don't have to"

"I'm just nagging myself like that. Even if Harold doesn't want it."

I don't want you to interfere with anything, Harold, and Reefa, who wants to help Harold somehow.

The two opinions can only be parallel lines wherever they go. The push question continues afterwards, and only time passes. We do that for plenty more than an hour and we start to see the color of fatigue in each other.

The only way to settle any more is to make them listen to what they have to say with strength, whether one of them breaks.

"I don't know...!

"That's mutual, isn't it, you stonehead...!

"... this is the last time I'll give you advice. Stop sniffing around my past."

Harold said so as he grabbed the pattern of the sword he put on his hips.

But Reefa says back without pulling a step.

"... I refuse"

"... oh well"

Shan, the sword is pulled out by making the sound of The black straight sword I've seen many times.

Reefa is shown in his body.

"Negotiation is a breakdown."

"Right."

The sword is waved down without hesitation. The sword cut off Reefa - only the rope he was holding.

Without harrassment and strength, the rope fell to the ground, and Reefa became free. Harold has a look like he chewed up a bitter bug. I put my sword in my sheath as I chipped my tongue.

What this means is that Harold is more "broken”.

But Reefa doesn't surprise me with that. I know that this sarcastic is out-of-the-box kind. Though the tenderness is very difficult to understand.

"... Reefa. You're not lying about wanting to help me, are you?

"Yeah."

Look me in the eye and nod forcefully.

Let this stubborn, clumsy man tell you how he feels at all.

"Then follow my instructions if you don't want to die. If you move on your own, you'll be erased."

"To whom?

"To Justus, or to the man in his hand."

"... yes"

I had some anticipation. Reminds me of a tired grey-haired man and there were many things I wanted to say to him, but Reefa swallows them all the time.

"So what am I supposed to do?

"Leave the king's capital for now."

"It wouldn't be a good pain in the ass, would it?

"That's what I want to do, but I'll accompany you."

Apparently, things were so persecuted that Harold would say so, which he shouldn't be able to move freely. Maybe Reefa's body was in pretty dangerous condition.

So it can also be assumed that Harold has been in hasty contact.

"I get it. Where are you going?

To that question, Harold sighed and told him the name of the place he should be aiming, with a more distorted face.

"It's a land called Smeragi, just east of here. I'll get you to work there."
