Chapter 170 – I Didn’t Expect a Movie Like This

Sponsored

(Friendship... better than I expected.)

"Friendship" — that was the name of this movie theater; inside, it turned out to be much more spacious than one might have expected from the street.

A long corridor with a soft, dark-red carpet muffled the sound of footsteps.

The walls were upholstered in dark fabric, and the sparse light fixtures cast only a subdued yellow glow.

The air was filled with a mixture of the smells of fresh popcorn, cotton candy, heated olive oil, and the faint chemical scent of the air conditioner.

Somewhere in the distance, muffled music from movie trailers played, and announcements about the start of showings in other auditoriums echoed from the speakers from time to time.

They walked past a small bar selling drinks and sweets, where two employees were idly chatting with each other, and stopped at the door to Hall No. 3.

Valkyrie didn’t even glance at the seating chart... it seemed as if she already knew where to go.

The beauty opened the door and stepped inside first.

- (Me). "..."

The hall was large, with a capacity of about 150 seats, but now it looked almost empty.

Rows of dark red seats rose in an amphitheater-style arrangement all the way to the back wall.

The screen wasn’t on yet — it was just glowing dimly with a gray light.

Valkyrie climbed the stairs, ignoring the empty rows, and stopped near the very top... the two seats closest to the wall in the last row.

- (Valkyrie). "Here."

- (Me). "..."

Sohen sat down next to her.

From here, the stage was fully visible, but the spot itself was as isolated as possible.

On the left was a wall, on the right an empty row, and in front, a few meters of open space.

The seats turned out to be comfortable: deep, with high, soft backrests and wide armrests.

Valkyrie immediately placed a large cup of caramel popcorn between them, settled in more comfortably, and crossed her legs.

- (Me). "..."

(There... aren’t many people here.)

Sohen looked around the theater more closely.

Besides them, there were only three other people here.

They were sitting way down below, almost right next to the screen, in the second or third row.

They looked like college students.

A guy in his twenties wearing a huge black hoodie with a bright anime print on the back, a girl with long dark hair and big round glasses, and another guy in a gray hoodie covered in all kinds of patches.

They were sitting close together, chatting animatedly, almost excitedly, about something.

From time to time, one of them would laugh loudly, another would gesticulate, and the third would shake her head.

The "students" looked as if they were in their own little world and completely oblivious to the fact that anyone else was in the theater.

- (Me). "Heh..."

Sohen was slightly surprised.

(For a matinee... on a weekday... there really aren’t many people, but this few... Well, whatever.)

He shrugged.

He didn’t care.

The main thing was that no one was sitting next to him and bothering him.

A few minutes later, the lights in the theater began to dim slowly.

The screen lit up with the movie studio’s logo, followed by the standard warnings about turning off cell phones.

Valkyrie settled more comfortably into her chair, grabbed a few caramel popcorn balls, and popped them into her mouth.

Sohen simply leaned back in his seat and folded his arms across his stomach.

The movie started.

(Now we’ll see what kind of movie this... lady chose.)

At first, it all looked like a typical romantic drama with a slight hint of college life.

The main character was a young man in his early twenties — calm, somewhat aloof, with neatly combed hair and a constant, faint sadness in his eyes.

He worked at a small publishing house and lived alone in a modest apartment.

Two women were constantly popping up around him.

(So it’s a movie about college students...)

The first one was gentle, quiet, with long, light hair.

She worked as a librarian at the same publishing house and always brought him coffee when he stayed late.

The second was more vibrant, with short dark hair and a piercing gaze.

She was a freelance photographer and would pop into his life from time to time with new ideas for collaborative projects.

(Sounds like... a love triangle? Not bad.)

The plot of the first twenty to thirty minutes revolved around how both women tried to get his attention.

The fair-haired one cooked lunch for him, left him notes, and suggested they go for a walk in the rain.

The dark-haired woman invited him to exhibitions, took photos of him without permission, and drew him into long conversations that lasted late into the night.

The young man, however, consistently and politely kept his distance.

He said he valued their friendship but wasn’t looking for anything more.

He kept repeating phrases about the "need for freedom," the "desire not to be tied down," and the "fear of losing oneself."

Why freedom, specifically, and what exactly he wanted to escape from — the film never explained.

The young man simply repeated these words over and over with such a serious expression, as if they were a philosophical axiom.

(The film’s main character isn’t developed very much as a character. Perhaps we’ll learn more about him as the plot unfolds?)

To Sohen, the plot seemed weak.

The dialogue sounded as if it had been written by people who’d watched too much anime and decided to transpose that same conversational style into live-action film.

The emotions were over-the-top, the music was obsessively melodramatic, and the pauses between lines were drawn out.

Several times, he caught himself thinking that he already knew how it would all end, and he began to get bored.

Around the thirty-minute mark, the tone of the film changed abruptly.

- (Me). "..."

The fair-haired heroine invited the man to her place under the pretext of "watching Hentliks and relaxing."

(Did the main character not get the hint? Did he really just come over to watch Hentliks with her and that’s it? What a naive fool.)

They sat in the kitchen drinking coffee.

The camera showed several close-ups of her discreetly pouring something from a small packet into his cup.

The man drank it.

A few minutes later, his eyelids began to grow heavy.

He tried to stand up, but his legs gave way.

The woman just smiled gently, caught him, and helped him make his way to the couch.

(So that’s the kind of character she is, ha...)

- (Main Character). "..."

When he woke up, he was already lying on a large bed in an unfamiliar bedroom.

The curtains were drawn tight, and the room was shrouded in semi-darkness.

She — that same fair-haired girl, was sitting on a chair next to the bed.

Her smile was gentle, almost motherly, but her eyes... her eyes were staring too intently, too greedily.

- (Female MC 1). "You’re finally awake... I’ve been waiting so long."

- (Male Protagonist). "???"

The protagonist tried to sit up, but found that one of his arms was strapped to the headboard with a soft but sturdy strap.

He jerked violently.

- (Male Protagonist). "What are you doing?! Let me go!..."

The woman just leaned in closer. Her voice grew even softer, almost tender.

- (Female MC 1). "You’re not going anywhere anymore. I’ve taken care of everything. Now you’re mine and mine alone♡."

Sohen felt a slight chill run down his spine.

He already understood where this was going.

(Yandere... Classic...)

Over the next ten minutes, the movie showed the woman calmly and methodically explaining to the protagonist that he was no longer on his own.

That she had long since decided everything for him.

That now he would live here, with her, and he wouldn’t need anyone else anymore.

At first, the protagonist screamed, then begged, then tried to bargain.

She just stroked his hair and repeated that everything would be all right.

And then the scene changed for good.

- (Me). "???"

The woman slowly unbuttoned his shirt.

The guy tried to push her away with his free hand, but she simply grabbed his wrist and pinned it to the pillow.

The camera didn’t look away.

There were no strategic sheets, no blackouts, no hints.

Everything happened right before the viewer’s eyes.

At first she kissed his neck, then moved lower.

When she took his mouth into hers, the protagonist resisted for a few more seconds, but gradually his body began to give in.

Before long, the camera began showing close-ups of scenes that... Sohen certainly didn’t expect to see in a regular movie.

- (Me). "What the hell..."

(Fuck!!...)

The fair-haired girl... began to suck his cock intensely.

- (Me). "?!"

The sounds were clear, wet, and uninhibited.

- (Me). "..."

Sohen involuntarily tensed up in his chair.

He expected them to censor it or at least blur it out, but nothing of the sort happened.

The movie continued to show everything with almost documentary-like candor.

A few minutes later, the woman stood up, slipped off her dress in one motion, and sat on top of him.

Once again, the camera didn’t look away.

Everything was visible: how she guided him into her, how she slowly lowered herself, how her expression shifted from concentration to pleasure.

She began to move — slowly at first, then faster.

The man’s moans mingled with her voice.

The bed creaked softly in time with their movements.

- (Me). "..."

Sohen slowly shifted his gaze from the screen to Valkyrie.

She sat completely still.

One hand rested on the armrest, while the other reached for the popcorn from time to time.

Her eyes were fixed on the screen, her eyebrows slightly furrowed, as if she were analyzing what she was seeing.

Her face showed neither embarrassment, nor excitement, nor disgust — only a cold, almost professional curiosity.

- (Me). "..."

(This is... fucking porn!)

Sohen turned back to the screen.

The scene continued.

The woman changed her position, rolled the man onto his side, then back onto his back.

The camera showed close-ups of their bodies, faces, and where they were joined.

The sounds grew louder.

At some point, the man stopped resisting — guy hands clutched the sheets, and his voice broke into hoarse moans.

- (Me). "Ugh..."

Sohen felt his neck start to flush.

He was used to... explicit content, but seeing something like this on the big screen in a nearly empty movie theater and in Valkyrie’s company, no less, was a completely different experience.

He glanced at her briefly once more.

Valkyrie was still calmly munching on popcorn and watching the movie as if it were just an ordinary action flick.

(Valkyrie, did you pick out... a porn movie for us? And on top of that... What the hell?! Why the hell did movie theaters start showing stuff like this?!)
