My First Trip was to Another World

Explore different world sites

Wake up before the morning sun rises and start acting in the dark. Finished a light breakfast and tea and started exploring.

Hammocks are easy to move, install and withdraw. But I can't say it's as comfortable as a tent, so I want to make sure it's the best place to set up a tent first.

Walk in search of open spaces with little debris while aiming for a centre-like location.

A little further from the crumbling ruins, a majestic palace appeared in front of her. It hasn't collapsed, it sits there as it was at the time.

"This is..."

The mossy stone walls are intertwined with the roots of the trees to create even more power. The main palace is about the size of a little department store. On top of it, several trees grew to cover.

Multiple buildings exist around them, each in harmony with the forest and emitting a unique presence.

By analogy, is it a Ta Prom ruin in Cambodia? Instead of the Buddha statue there is a powerful line of dragon stone statues.

"That's amazing..."

The palace takes the form of a Co lettering. The place we stand is like a courtyard where grass grows and walking is difficult.

Countless windows were open on both wings of the palace, and only a few glimpses of what was inside. The interior of the palace, where the light plunges in, remains unexpectedly clean. A little cleaning will likely help you live there.

The entrance and exit are open to the left and right, and you can still get inside. It could suddenly collapse, but you can't beat curiosity.

"Let's go inside"

We all explore the inside. I think the palace had an atmosphere like that in the royal castle of Arencia, and it used to act like a royal castle.

There doesn't seem to be any conditioning or valuables left, not even a desk or chair. Nothing but dust.

"Hmmm... this castle looks like a whole demon prop. Excellent......"

Mr Lilly says as he checks the walls. I guess the magic of state preservation is profitable.

It leaves more shape than you can imagine from the look of the exterior. There's no such thing as a collapse, and there's no sign that it's even going to collapse.

"Hey, come here! There's something here!

Leeds' voice echoed from behind the palace. Why are you staying away? I've been alarmed for a long time. Leeds is moving freely.

Hurry and rush under Leeds, a large door was attached to the wall. When I saw it, it was just a decoration, scraping walls and shaping doors. It's a relief that's not supposed to open.

The carved motif is a woman with big dragons and long hair. Plants and dragons are carved everywhere in this palace, but only here were women carved together.

"What's up? What's wrong with this ornament?

"Decoration? Is this a decoration?

"Hmm. I doubt why you carved it into the shape of a door, but this is a decoration"

Leeds has his neck clenched with "hmm". If you look in the dim, it only looks like a door, but if you light the light firmly, you can tell it's not a door. If not a decoration, is it a kind of trap or something religious?

"Hey, there's more doors ahead than that."

Now it's Claire. Leeds distracted me and I didn't notice, but also in the front of the decorative door, there was a door. Now it's a real door. Heavy looking stone doors, with countless tree leaves and dragons carved.

The direction is the front of the courtyard you were in earlier, where there were no windows on the wall. Maybe it's an important room like the throne.

I'm also curious about Leeds' account, but you're in this room first.

"Can you open it?

Claire and Mr. Lily are desperately pushing and pulling to open it. But the doors of the stones are frightening.

It wasn't a sliding door, was it?

I put my hand on the door and pulled the door with all my strength. But the door didn't make any difference.

Let Luna, who stands nearby, help too.

"Luna, pull that door aside for a second."

"Huh? Yes..."

Luna puzzles and hands on the door. Then, the door suddenly shed a fluttering light and slammed in the back. As Luna hung her hand, the heavy-looking stone door opened easily.

This works just like the elf junction. It's starting to open in response to an elf.

"You opened it..."

"Huh! Was this door even a demon prop! You can't be alarmed about this castle!

Says Mr. Lily with his eyes shining.

This palace has magical props everywhere, and many functions still seem to be alive.

I opened it, so I grabbed the lantern and went inside. This room with no windows is dark instead of dark. The air conditioning seems to be alive, and the air inside is crisp, dry and tingly cool. Looks like the library of Alencia Royal Castle.

"Wow! Cool! Ouch!

In the dark, it looks like Leeds, who went first inside, was shaken and hit something. But it's the usual thing. Let's leave it alone.

Turning on the light and checking inside, I saw a large bookshelf. There are countless books lined up there. Looks like everyone else found a bookshelf.

It's about the size of a public high school library. It is on an unfortunate scale compared to the royal castle of Alencia. Thanks to the fact that the air conditioning was functioning, and less damage, I try to get one, but it doesn't break or break, and it functions as a book.

The Empire couldn't open this door. So I stayed here without being taken away.

But... not the letters I studied. I can't read. Elf?

"Hey, how many words is this?

"Uh... it's probably an ancient language. I'm sorry, I can't read either."

Luna says as she turns the book to pieces.

"I can read this. The rhetoric is old, but it's written in a common language."

I think I can read the book Claire had. Apparently, the two languages are mixed. That's inconvenient. Were the people not confused at the time?

"Hmm, ancient language... With the Apostolic Ring, you might be able to read it."

It's a ring worn by the good guys, with translation. Mine was a replica, and I beat it back to the king when I got out of the royal castle. The language-assisted ring borrowed from Mr. Lilly was also politely returned when he left the royal castle.

"Right...... I didn't think you'd need it again. I'm afraid I don't have it anymore."

"Um, I know that. But with me and Luna, we can make replicas."

That's the people who made it. My replica was analyzed and recreated by the court magicians. It wasn't a complete thing, but it helped me enough.

If the king hadn't sold me the fight, I'd have gotten this ring too. I was annoyed by the king's attitude, so I had no choice but to slap him back.

"Can you make it right away?

"No, I'm sorry, but it's a little rough. We need to go to the Magic Academy for once."

When I hear more about it, apparently they need special material. Materials written about the language say that there is something like a pattern table.

If you have information about magic props, the two memorize most of them. But when it comes to language, it's out of specialty. They need something like a dictionary.

This is the main reason the replica ring was incomplete. There is no such thing as Japanese material, so I assembled it just by guessing.

The mechanism can be replicated as is from a running demon prop, but not as far as the internal data.

"Right. Then I have no choice. Do it when you can."

I haven't even finished exploring the area yet. Returning for the ring is also a hassle, so ancient language books are behind us.

Let's start by looking for a book written in readable letters. From the size of the room, I think there are probably tens of thousands of books in storage. There must be thousands of books even if you only look at the ones you can read.

In addition to air conditioning, functions like an air purifier seem to be alive, and only this room is low in dust. It's cozy for you, so let's spend a little time reading a book.

"Hey, it's time to eat?

Sounds like it's been quite a while now. We were totally relaxed with tables and chairs out. As far as Leeds is concerned, he is putting out a shrug and taking a nap.

I forgot my time because I can't see outside. It's probably already dark out there.

I was able to read several books at this time, but the grammar was slightly different and I didn't really understand it. Probably wrote about magic and magic props, so I'm going to try again later.

"Shit, I couldn't explore. Let's base this place for a while."

"Sassy!

"Right. There seems to be a lot of valuable material here."

"If you look, you're going to find the magic trick."

"I'll eat sooner than that."

Claire's like a jerk, so I'm just gonna move. I can't even live in a library room, so I decided to use one of these palaces as a living base.

In an earlier exploration, I found several rooms about twelve tatami in size lined up. It's still unexplored, but it could be upstairs.

The closest room to the library was opened and the tables and chairs rearranged. The moonlight is plugged in from the outside.

Seeing this moonlight reminds me of the day I first came to this world.

I was suddenly pushed into the warehouse. Thanks to you I got a lot of stuff. The technical standards of this world could also be ascertained during that day. It was messy, but cozy and really nice room.

At the end of the meal, Luna got up and started talking.

"Um... Thank you, Koh, everyone.

Looking for an elf country was my wish.

With your help, we were able to get here. Thank you so much. "

Luna bowed her head deeply. It's what Luna said, but I was curious, too.

I shouldn't have been able to find it alone. I'm the one who appreciates it.

"Don't worry about it. I wanted to find the Elf Country. Thanks for your cooperation."

"Pfft. Thank you for bringing me here."

"I've seen so many rare things!

Mr. Lily and Leeds wanted to be here just like me. It is no exaggeration to say that Mr. Lilly accompanied us for that.

Claire's the only one involved. I'm not a magician, I'm not on the edge of an elf.

"... well, that's good. I'm glad you're finally listening to my wishes."

At the end of the day, Claire says as she looks at me chilling.

Claire's wish is... what I said before, to go to a region called the Kingdom of Gaza somehow. They say it's a city famous for its potions.

Maybe there's a delicious potion. Let's make it our next destination.
