My First Trip was to Another World

Irvin-kun's training diary 3

My business in Bilbao lasted two days, but I don't need to stay here. Slowly rested in Elminsur's own room.

Expect Erin's work to be over and move out of the city of Bilbao.

The place I chose to transfer to is a small vacant lot off Bilbao. It's in the shadow of a big workshop, and people don't usually come first.

But I had a client today for some reason. There's someone in the middle of the clearing.

Gazing closely, it was yesterday's brothers and sisters and Gary Combine who were there. It looks like Gary Combine is unilaterally packing his siblings.

"That's why I said..."

My whine cut the sky and flew away somewhere. The Lunas look at their brothers and sisters worried silently, as if my words were not in their ears.

I expected those brothers and sisters to be harassed, and I advised both of them to leave the city as soon as possible. Identification, tangled.

But, well, there's no choice this time. Gary, the combination retaliated too quickly. Getting out of the city yesterday today doesn't matter how much.

I guess it's the one called the boat I boarded. Let's help.

"Can I get my hands on you for a second?

"Ah, yes. Of course I don't mind..."

"Don't overdo it, okay?

Luna and Irvin say worryingly. What do you think I am... I still think you're good at this.

"Shall I do it?

Leeds says it in the face as if he had come up with a name proposal, but of course he rejects it. I can't count on Leeds' "hands-down". There is a fusi based on 'I wouldn't die if I were you', which makes it too much by the other person.

"No. If we're gonna settle this with a discussion, that's fine. I'll go."

I can't even say it's my fault. If we were to avoid future trouble, we should have made him give up the reward. I could never forgive Gary for having the money over, so I did something extra.

Approaching the four first, he calls out.

"Hey, you're doing well today. What kind of harassment are you doing today?

"Become! Temeye!

"... is it you again? Are you still going to get in our way today? Every time, just get in our way...... Is there a grudge?

When Henry made a disgusting voice, Gary said it like he was sick of it.

"The resentment... well, it's normal. I've had a lot of trouble because of you guys. So was yesterday."

"That's this line. But you were just fine. We were looking for you, too. I'll be talking to these two in a little while, so please wait."

When I look at my brothers and sisters, my clothes are torn all over and my face swollen. Looks like he's already been beaten up quite a bit. Gary's term for 'story' seems to be due to physical language. You're a savage.

"... run away. We're fine......"

My sister says in a faint voice. You don't look like you're doing very well. My brother seems to be hurt worse and less able to speak up.

"I wouldn't call hitting him unilaterally a 'story'. Don't do this anymore."

"This is the problem. Could you keep your mouth shut?

"That's not how it works. If it's about yesterday, I'm involved."

When I said that, Gary looked around and had a humble grin. You look like you're up to something.

"... right. If that's all I'm saying, shall we talk about it in a duel?"

Duel. Duel hey...... I don't know what to do. I don't know what you're up to, but if this makes sense, okay?

"Fine. Take it and stand. Conditions?"

"It's better to lose. So adventurer out of business, what do you think?

"Hmmm...... Well, that's okay, isn't it?

Honestly, I just quit being an adventurer and it's not a big deal. I continue to be an adventurer in order to secure a seller of materials. There are other sellers available now. There are a few people who would buy it out if asked, like the usual clothes store or some merchant.

"Now let's review the rules. We work in pairs. A two-on-two duel is fine, right?

Gary says with a nasty grin.

The three of you with me today are Luna, Leeds and Irvin. Claire and Lily must look like combatants with their back lengths and faces. But the three you're taking with you today shouldn't look very fightable. That's a pretty despicable rule.

I guess the aim is to get rid of non-combatants quickly and bring them into a 2-on-1 state.

I'm sorry to hear that. We're all combatants. However, Luna is not the right way to fight a duel, and Leeds probably can't help it. I wish Claire was here at a time like this just fine......

"Well, fine. Irvin, let's do this!

"Ha? Me?"

Irvin replies with a loose voice in between. He didn't think he'd be nominated.

"It's training. I'm here for your training, so you'd better do it."

"Mr. Irvin...... please give up. Probably nicer than training at the royal castle..."

Luna says with a distant eye.

Gary and Henry aren't that strong, according to what we hear. Is it about the same as a big goblin with a sword? Compared to the Glad Squad guys, it's pretty degrading. That's definitely sweet.

"Kufu. We don't mind. I don't have a hobby for hurting women. A boy would know, wouldn't he?

Gary says, laughing. He already thinks he won.

By the way, I haven't revealed my name. I guess Gary thinks of us as regular new adventurers. And he seems to think of Irvine as a normal child, too. It's on the other side to lick and hang. This one just really bumps into each other.

As we begin the duel, we need to bring in a third-party watchdog. It's like a referee. In the case of duels between adventurers, guild officials are often the seers. Alliance officials are quick to judge TKO, so they are less at risk of getting extra injuries.

"So, who do you want to see?

"You don't have to. It's a man's promise. There's nothing different about that, is there?

I'd say a lot more masculine. Was Gary this character? I feel uncomfortable.

"Well, you are. Fine. Let's get started. In the meantime, Luna needs to heal her siblings."

"Yes."

Luna replied lightly, approaching her brothers and sisters, she began her magical chant.

"Leeds. I'm sorry, can you lend Irvin an iron stick?

"Fine."

Leeds took his favorite iron stick out of his magic bag and gave it to Irvin.

I use a training baton. I also use this plain and often. I call it a stick, but it's just a stick I forced my sword to process. I also want to make a new one soon.

Before I started the duel, I whispered to Luna and Leeds.

"I'm sorry, but I need you to take a camera of what's going on. As many as you can."

"... Huh? Fine... but why?

"I'm worried about Gary. Whatever you've been up to, I know you can handle it, but I want to leave you proof, just in case."

Gary may go on later. It could be to say that the duel is invalid, or to make a scene that you have been subjected to unilateral acts of violence. At first, I think my siblings will testify, but this is insurance too.

Side by side with Irvin, facing Gary Combine. Gary and Henry are in quite close proximity. I guess the conflagration is the aim.

You don't have to bother to ride the invitation. Too close is dangerous, so I gave Irvin instructions to leave.

Now we're ready. Both of you, put up your weapons and wait for the signal to start...

"Hey, Gary. Wait a minute. What's that weapon?

A duel uses a non-destructive weapon if both say nothing. Attack magic is also prohibited. Though I say 'duel', the contents are close to games and mock warfare. When using a weapon with a blade, it is manners to speak up in advance.

Why did you do this confirmation, because Gary has a one-handed sword whose blade has been stripped out as much as he can think of. "I'll kill you, but what?" I feel a clear will.

That's the discomfort I had earlier. I didn't need a watchman because I was going to kill him from the start. Or vice versa, I was in the way.

A serious duel requires agreement between the two, but it doesn't matter if the other person dies. The one who has no mouth for the dead. I guess I aimed for that.

"Didn't I tell you? Our duel is always a serious battle."

That's what Gary said, and he's gaining momentum. You're not going to give me time to change weapons.... Is that it? Looks like there was no signal to start...... Well, is that usual? I can't complain if they start on their own because no one gives the signal.

"I didn't know that. Well, I don't care either way."

That said, I slapped Gary's right wrist with a baton. Then he said, 'Becky!' and a blunt sound rang, and Gary dropped his sword to the ground.

"Damn... Pain Ye..."

Gary, distorting his face in pain, is holding his right wrist with his left hand. Gary can no longer hold the sword with his dominant hand. The battle is like a decision.

However, I'm a little concerned. If Gary used it seriously, Henry should be taking it seriously too. Moving his gaze to Henry, he heard Irvin screaming from afar.

"Hey! I haven't heard of a serious battle!

"It doesn't matter. Think of them as goblins. Some goblins have swords. Better than that."

The slightly larger goblin wields the two-handed sword like a one-handed sword. Henry's sword is a normal long sword. Weight and speed are no big deal. Just deal with it calmly and you'll be fine. I might rather be nervous.

"That's not the problem. No!

Irvin is taking the sword as he complains. I can see him scattering a small spark, along with the whispering sound of a sword trident. Not each other... Irvin can still see room.

It's Irvine who's mentally cornered, but technically Irvine's better up there. If you take the time, you'll win.

"A firewall!"

As I watched Irvin, suddenly a firepillar about a meter in diameter appeared in front of me, enveloping me.

"It's because we're talking relaxation! Burn to death! Huhahahahahaha!"

I thought Gary was quiet, but apparently he was chanting magic. You're a surprisingly masterful guy.

"I'm sorry about your loss, but my coat plays magic. Doesn't work at all, does it?

I waved my hands and scratched out the fire column.

I played it on my coat this time, but if I use heat resistant magic, I don't even need a coat. The heat-resistant magic I've developed is so powerful that I can take a nap on the surface of the sun. I don't feel anything at this temperature.

"Nah..."

"In the meantime, can I win this one?

"Damn! Not yet!

Gary rushed out toward Irvine, saying so. Are you gonna change your target? No, you're not. Probably going to take Irvin hostage.

"Irvin! He's gone that way! Two-on-one, but can you do it?

"Irrational!

Irvin seems to be able to afford to just listen to me and respond properly. Doesn't it look okay at all?

"All right! Come on!

"Are you listening? I said I can't!

He has a desperate voice while accepting Henry's sword.

I'll sit still a little further away, but let's just get ready for the transfer sword.

Gary is handy, so he can't have a weapon. It's magic to be vigilant, but as soon as you decide it's dangerous, you get your hands on it.

It will probably be a critical battle. For Irvin, it should be just the right load. The training is as demanding as it gets. Come on.
