Chapter 220 - 216: Healing Little Uncle
Room 603 was in a state of utter chaos.
The moment Ye Xing stepped into the room, he was met with a chaotic scene, punctuated by his aunt weeping and blaming herself. His mother, Lin Yufang, his aunt, Lin Yuxiang, and his uncle’s wife were all huddled around the hospital bed, frantic with worry.
His uncle, Lin Debiao, was lying on the bed, his eyes weak and his face pale with agony. Blood was gushing from his thigh, soaking through the white bandages and staining the bedsheets a grisly, spotted crimson.
Dr. Xie, his forehead beaded with sweat, was frantically trying to treat the wound. The unexpected rupture had clearly thrown him into a panic.
"What happened? How did Uncle’s injury suddenly get so much worse?" Ye Xing asked, his voice grave. ’His injury should have been stable until tonight; I was planning on healing him secretly then. But with this turn for the worse, he probably won’t last that long.’
"Your uncle bumped his leg on his way to the bathroom just now, and the wound split open," his mother, Lin Yufang, sighed, her eyes filled with worry.
"It’s all my fault. I wasn’t paying enough attention when I was helping Debiao," his aunt lamented, her eyes red-rimmed and brimming with tears. "If I had just been a little more careful, he wouldn’t have hit his leg on the doorframe."
"Dr. Xie, how is he now?" his aunt, Lin Yuxiang, asked anxiously.
"It’s not good. If this continues, he’ll die from blood loss. The injury was already severe, and now his life is in danger!" Dr. Xie’s brow was tightly furrowed as he shook his head. "We have to operate immediately!"
"An amputation?"

The color drained from the faces of his aunt, Ye Xing’s parents, and Lin Yuxiang. Even though they had been somewhat prepared for this possibility, the reality of it was still a bitter pill to swallow.
"Yes, an amputation. We can’t delay any longer. You need to pre—"
As Dr. Xie was speaking, a hand suddenly shot out and yanked him from his chair beside the bed.
"Move aside!"
The voice belonged to Ye Xing, who had just pulled Dr. Xie up from the bedside chair. His arms weren’t particularly thick, but they were incredibly strong. Dr. Xie barely had time to react before he was hauled out of his seat.
Time was of the essence, so Ye Xing didn’t bother with explanations. He immediately took out his silver needles and set to work on his uncle’s leg.
"Hey, what do you think you’re doing? Stop messing around! You’ll only make his injury worse!" Dr. Xie cried out anxiously.
His aunt Lin Yuxiang’s eyes flickered. After a moment’s hesitation, she said, "Dr. Xie, someone was just looking for our Axing for medical help. Maybe Axing really does have some skill. Why don’t we let him try?"
"Dr. Xie, please, just let Axing try. I really don’t want my Debiao to have an amputation!" his other aunt pleaded, her eyes filled with tears. "Axing isn’t one to lie, and he was just treating another patient. He must know what he’s doing."
"You’re all getting carried away. What could a kid like him possibly cure? He was upstairs for less than twenty minutes, only a little over ten before he came back down. How could he possibly cure a heart condition? I doubt even the best doctor in the world has that kind of ability. Treating this like a last-ditch effort will only make the situation worse. Young people these days learn a few superficial skills, their confidence skyrockets, and they start thinking they’re some kind of divine doctor. Pull him away from there, now! Stop him from messing around!" Dr. Xie said with a grim, stern expression. As he spoke, he reached out to stop Ye Xing from applying the needles.
But just then—a flurry of footsteps echoed from the hallway. It sounded like a large group, and the noise grew rapidly closer. A moment later, a crowd of doctors in white coats and other personnel burst into Room 603. They were all out of breath from running, their faces flush with excitement.
"Huh? Dean Zeng? Director Liu? What are you all doing here?" Dr. Xie asked, stunned.
"Oh, Little Xie, you’re here too. How did you get down here faster than we did?" Dean Zeng asked, looking puzzled. The moment he had confirmed Elder Chen’s heart was back to normal, he had rushed down here to seek medical advice. His group should have been the first to arrive.
"I was already here," Dr. Xie explained. "I was treating this patient’s leg when that young man interrupted me. I can’t let him go on like this; it will only increase the difficulty of the surgery." As he spoke, he tried to rush forward and pull Ye Xing away.
Suddenly, several pairs of hands grabbed him, holding him so tightly he couldn’t move an inch.
"..." Dr. Xie froze, utterly baffled. A giant, invisible question mark seemed to hover over his head.
The hands belonged to Director Wang, Director Liu, and several other senior doctors. And Dean Zeng’s hands were among them, gripping him particularly tightly.
"This is absurd! Little Xie, what do you think you’re doing? Stay back! Don’t disturb Divine Doctor Ye while he’s performing the treatment!" Dean Zeng chided him sharply.
"Divine Doctor Ye?" Dr. Xie was dumbfounded. "Dean Zeng," he asked uncertainly, "are you saying that kid is a divine doctor?"
"Of course! He cured Elder Chen’s severe heart condition. A man with such skill is a divine doctor—a genius divine doctor!" Dean Zeng exclaimed, his eyes filled with admiration. Before this, he had been skeptical and harsh. However, after confirming that Elder Chen’s heart was completely healed, all his doubts vanished, replaced by nothing but endless awe and respect. Now, all he wanted was to learn a few things from Divine Doctor Ye. He felt that even a single pointer would be an invaluable lesson.
"What? That kid really cured Elder Chen’s heart disease? But he was gone for less than twenty minutes!" Dr. Xie’s eyes were wide with shock. Although he was a surgeon, he’d heard about how difficult Elder Chen’s case was. It had stumped every doctor in Fujian Province, and it was doubtful that anyone else in the country, or even the world, could have done much better. Yet this young man had cured such a monumental illness in under twenty minutes. Such skill was simply unheard-of.
Dr. Xie snapped out of his daze and frowned again. "But, Dean Zeng!" he said hesitantly. "He cured a heart condition. This patient has a severe leg injury. Those are two completely different special—"
"Relax," Dean Zeng said. "If Divine Doctor Ye has stepped in, he must be confident he can handle it. We just need to watch!" As he spoke, his eyes were glued to Ye Xing’s acupuncture technique, hoping to pick up a pointer or two.
A divine doctor at work—this was a rare opportunity to observe and learn. None of the other doctors were about to miss it. Like a class of obedient students, they all stood quietly to the side, their eyes glued to him, not daring to look away.
They didn’t dare make a sound, scarcely even daring to breathe, terrified of being kicked out again. After all, while treating Elder Chen, Divine Doctor Ye had thrown them all out for being too noisy. They had learned their lesson; all they wanted was to watch in silence.
