My House of Horrors

Chapter 104: Give Me A Minute (4 more)

The house was clean, the floor was covered with thick carpets, the corners of the table and cabinet were wrapped in thick cloth, fruit plates were visible on the coffee table, but no cutlery and sharp objects were placed.

“Dr. Gao, please come in.” A woman in a white shirt greeted Dr. Gao and Chan Gong into the house, she looked around forty years old and well maintained.

“Is Wang Xin feeling better? ”

“The sleeping pills and the antidepressants you prescribe. Tulip pills are all used, but they don't work very well.” The woman laughed bitterly: “The illness has not improved much, but the side effects are obvious. Dry, hands shaking, chilling. At lunch today, she did not hold the chopsticks steadily, and the dishes clipped dropped. Dr. Gao, you said Wang Xin, are you okay? ”

“Believe me, she'll be fine. ”

“Mm-hmm." That's when the woman saw Chen Song following her: “Who is this? ”

“My name is Chan Gong.” Chen Gong doesn't want to delay time outside the door: “Can I see your daughter? ”

“This…” the woman turned to see Dr. Gao and seemed to be consulting each other.

“I'll go in with him. ”

After Dr. Gao nodded, the woman was reluctant to play Chan Song in: “The child was in the bedroom, had a sip of lunch and cried again. ”

The woman walked in front of a door in the inner room, knocked gently, did not respond for half a day, twisted her handle and pushed the door open a seam.

Without speaking, the woman sighed and retreated to the side.

“Let's go in.” Dr Gao looks at Chen Song: “Don't stimulate the patient, you should talk to me before you are ready to do anything. ”

“Okay.” Chen Guo repeatedly promised, this was the only time he entered Wang Xin's room with Dr. Gao.

The carpet was thickened, the corners of the wardrobe and table were flattened, nothing sharp could be seen in the house, and the windows were equipped with burglar screens.

There are no beds in the house, only two thick mattresses are tucked together, all decorations are solid coloured and there are not many patterns.

Dr. Gao moved his body to the side, which is when Chen Song saw what he was looking for.

On the mattress lay a skinny girl, wearing a loose round neck white top and a light blue shorts underneath.

The skin is white and the limbs can't be spread apart, making people feel like they would break by accident.

When someone came in, the girl slowly sat up from the mattress, which was completely different from what Chan had imagined, she seemed normal and just a little unspoken.

Wang Xin, do you still have a headache? ”A tall doctor with a strong body, gently squatting next to the mattress, keeping his body below the sight of each other.

The girl shook her head, glanced at Chen Song and quickly retracted her gaze.

“Can you sleep then?” Dr. Gao continued to ask that the girl was reacting more intensely this time, and she reached out and grabbed her hair, very hard, and when she took her hand away again, her fingers were all raw black long hair.

“Still can't sleep.” Stand up, Dr. Gao's eyebrows wrinkled tightly: “Neither medicine works? ”

“Dr. Gao, can I have a word with her? ”

“Wang Xin's situation is fairly stable. If you have anything to say, say it. ”

Chen Gong walked away and learned to squat in front of the girl like Dr. Gao.

The girl may have treated him as a doctor, not too resistant, but pulled her sleeve and covered a red mark on her arm, as if she had caught it herself.

The girl in front of her was fragile, and she felt like a paper kite, all tied to a fine line. If she didn't pay attention, she would collapse, fly into the clouds, and eventually be torn apart by the storm.

“Wang Xin.” Chen Gong took the ball pen wrapped in clear tape out of his pocket: “Your friend always wanted to tell you that I brought her. ”

Wang Xin glanced at the ballpoint pen and did not show too special emotion. She might want to try to smile and respond to Chen Gong's not funny cold joke, but she found she couldn't do it at all.

Doctor Gao next door and the woman who was listening outside the door were also misty, I really couldn't figure out what Chen Gong was doing.

Wang Xin did not respond. Chen Song was not in a hurry. He took a blank piece of paper from the desk and placed it on the mattress. He grabbed the pen vertically and put it in the position of playing the Pen Fairy Game.

Chen Gong was facing Dr. Gao on his back, facing Wang Xin. He only opened his mouth and did not make a sound. Through the mouth type, he recited the first few words of the fairy game.

Pen fairy, pen fairy, you are mine...

With her mouth open, Wang Xin's attention was slowly attracted by Chen Song. For the first time, she completely twisted her head and looked at Chen Song's mouth. Suddenly, she seemed to think of something very scary. She waved her arms wildly and her body kept squeezing into the corner of the wall.

“What did you do?!” The woman outside the door rushed in and stopped Chen Gong with Dr. Gao.

“I'm helping her open her heart.” Chen Guo carefully guarded the ballpoint pen in his hand: “Wang Xin had something that we didn't know about, and that was the cause of her illness! Give me a minute. I just need a minute! ”

He was resolute in his attitude and stood by the bed with a pen guard. Before he came here, he was only trying to accomplish the task of Pen Fairy, but after seeing the girl in pain, Chen Song suddenly felt that he should do something.

“Or let him try.” After a moment of impasse, Dr. Gao chose to believe Chan Song once: "During my treatment of Wang Xin, she never had similar emotions, and perhaps this time there was real hope. ”

The women were eventually persuaded by Dr. Gao that they were willing to give Chen Gong three minutes.

They walked outside the door, and Chen Song rose and pulled the curtains, closing the door tight.

“Wang Xin, your friend has always wanted to talk to you.” He re-hovered the pen over the blank paper, silent in his mouth.

“Pen fairy, pen fairy, you are my past life, I am your present life...”

While Chan Gong was meditating, the girl hiding in the corner of the wall was increasingly afraid, and her memories, haunted by nightmares, came back to mind.

Chen Song continued harshly. Not long later, the pen hovering over the paper suddenly moved itself, and then wrote Juan Xiu's handwriting on the blank paper. This word is completely different from Chen Song's.

“Wang Xin, I didn't think one of my jokes would hurt you so much. You must hate me. ”

When she saw the familiar font on the blank paper, Wang Xin stuck around. At that moment, she felt her heart was empty, and she didn't know why such emotions appeared.

“My death had nothing to do with you, I just saw you with someone else that day, trying to scare you deliberately, after I had set the rope, but I didn't expect the chair to slip. ”

“You didn't do anything wrong, it was just a despicable selfish me, a little prank. ”

“I'm sorry, Wang Xin. I don't want you to forgive me. I just want you to stop being influenced by me and try and live happily ever after. ”
