"Huh?" Fei Hu happened to have a question for Jiang Che, but upon hearing his inquiry, she was stunned.

Fei Hu looked at the area and saw Jiang Che had excluded nearly a quarter of the dungeon from the challenge zone.
The map had clear lines marking off the divisions.

Jiang Che’s dungeon was huge, especially after she’d seen Leng Feng’s creation; she realized Jiang Che’s dungeon was far beyond ordinary.
Comparing the land coverage, it was actually much bigger than Leng Feng’s dungeon.
Leng Feng was already recognized as the strongest human, yet Jiang Che’s dungeon was even bigger than his.
"You... what happened to you?" She frowned and looked uncertainly at Jiang Che’s planned area.
"I just want you to bring in some humans with construction skills. In this zone, I want to build something."
"I don’t have money, but as payment, I’ll let them live in my dungeon." Jiang Che explained quickly.
"People are easy to find..." Fei Hu wasn’t lying—the inner city zones were crowded; a tiny ten-square-meter apartment could house a whole family.
That was the inner zone, not to mention the people outside who couldn’t even get into the city.
The city edges were even more jam-packed, and those who couldn’t squeeze into the crowd lived further out, or in nearly deserted cities, fending for themselves.
In a city with no people, you could just walk into supermarkets, take whatever supplies you wanted.
You could eat whatever you liked, though it was mostly just convenience food.
No matter what kind of talent Jiang Che needed, as long as word got out, plenty of people would want to come.
They might think Jiang Che was problematic, but no one could refuse a safe, comfortable, and danger-free space.
Even if Jiang Che was setting a trap for them, the bait inside was tempting enough.
"What kind of people are you looking for? If it’s from a far-off city, we’ll have to fetch them and bring them here."
"The Dark Forest is a real headache right now; Zhou Ang and I don’t have the ability to travel alone." She wasn’t unwilling; but now, walking into the Dark Forest was a death sentence.
"I want to build an amusement park inside the dungeon—a really big, really beautiful, really exciting park."
Jiang Che wasn’t sure how to describe what he wanted; he’d never been to those kinds of places and didn’t know what counted as the most fun.
But he was sure Fei Hu knew much more about such things than he did.
"If the area’s not enough, I can section off more." Right now, Jiang Che had only divided out a tenth.
Ding Ning had just told him that it was best not to let the living zone exceed a third of the total dungeon area, because once it passed half, it became much friendlier for challengers.
Limiting the area meant helping challengers locate exits.
But in Jiang Che’s dungeon, there was no need to worry about people discovering the exit; it was just that Ding Ning thought reducing the dungeon too much would weaken the difficulty of later stages.

She hadn’t imagined Jiang Che would say he wanted to build an amusement park.
"Yes! I want a place that’s really big—combining all the best parts of amusement parks." He didn’t give up just because Ding Ning said they wouldn’t visit those scenic spots.
If the scenery couldn’t keep her, then he’d create places in the Human Realm that were unique and fun.
"If possible, I’d like to set aside some space for animals to live—maybe some pretty habitats."
"You could call it a combination of zoo and amusement park."
With that thought, he took out his phone; he needed to check which zoos still existed.
After cities started issuing protection notices, places without high-level humans became deserted.
The zoos were the first to be abandoned.
People were even afraid that after those places got swallowed by the Dark Forest, the animals inside would become fuel for its growth.
Small, herd animals were immediately slaughtered as reserve food and stored in freezer rooms.
Easy-to-raise species were bred exclusively for food.
Larger animals—maybe because people still had some compassion, still cherished their precious creatures—no one could bring themselves to let them go completely.
So they weren’t killed for storage, nor were they taken away.
The lives of one or two big creatures weren’t enough to let the Dark Forest reach terrifying growth.
They were just abandoned where they were, left to fend for themselves.
Fei Hu watched Jiang Che’s eyes glow—she’d only seen this look on lovers in love.
Every time someone mentioned their beloved, they’d get energized and excited.

She couldn’t help but shake her head—no one would believe this if she told them.
