ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!

The joint cries of a fox and a dragon tore across the heavens as two colossal masses of crimson and violet smoke exploded into existence, swallowing the battlefield whole.

The pressure released by their transformation crushed everything for hundreds of miles as buildings already left standing buckled beneath the invisible weight. Rivers changed course, the seas churned violently and the air itself became so dense that countless weaker beings collapsed to their knees, unable to breathe beneath the overwhelming aura radiating from the two monsters.

From within the crimson smoke, the massive arm of a dragon lashed outward like a whip, tearing through the violet mist with unstoppable force.

BOOOOM!

A devastating shockwave erupted the instant the strike connected, blasting apart both clouds of smoke in a single violent explosion. Hurricane-force winds swept across the world as the smoke scattered in every direction, finally revealing the true forms hidden within.

One was a gigantic crimson serpent dragon whose enormous body stretched across the ruined landscape like a living mountain range. Every crimson scale shimmered with ancient draconic runes while rivers of molten fire flowed between the gaps in his armor-like hide. His golden eyes burned brighter than stars, carrying enough pressure to make even the strongest warriors instinctively lower their gaze.

The other was a colossal seven tailed demon fox. Violet fur danced beneath waves of infernal energy while azure markings spread across its massive body like flowing rivers of light. However the fox was missing an arm.

Fresh blood poured endlessly from the severed shoulder, raining across the battlefield below like crimson waterfalls. The missing limb had done nothing to diminish the terrifying aura surrounding Damian’s transformed body, yet everyone watching could clearly tell the battle had taken its toll.

The impact sent the enormous fox reeling backward, yet instead of resisting the force, it embraced it completely. Twisting its massive body with the momentum of the blow, Damian used Kaizer’s own overwhelming strength against him as all seven tails ignited with blazing azure flames before sweeping forward together.

BOOOOM!

ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!

The dragon roared in pain as every flaming tail crashed into his enormous body with enough force to bend several of his scales inward. The colossal beast was hurled backward while the demon fox shot in the opposite direction. Both monsters slammed into the earth with earth shattering force before rolling uncontrollably across the battlefield.

Entire city blocks vanished beneath their bodies as skyscrapers crumbled like sandcastles. Mountains fractured, forests disappeared beneath their weight and everything unfortunate enough to lie along their paths was reduced to dust. Each collision generated earthquakes that spread across continents, shattering roads and opening new canyons where solid ground had existed only moments earlier.

Far beyond the battlefield, millions watched in absolute silence. Soldiers forgot the wars they had been fighting. Every conflict on Earth had become meaningless before the catastrophe unfolding in the skies.

"HUMAN!!!!"

Kaizer’s voice thundered across the world as the mighty crimson dragon slowly rose once more, towering over the ruined city beneath him. His burning eyes locked onto the fox with absolute hatred, his chest rising as flames escaped between rows of razor-sharp teeth.

"YOU DAMN LIZARD, LET’S END THIS!"

Damian bellowed in response, his roar carrying equal parts rage and exhilaration despite the grievous wounds covering his enormous body.

The seven tailed fox slowly opened its enormous jaws as each of its seven tails ignited with a different infernal flame. Several flames blazed together, each carrying a terrifying force that caused the surrounding space to ripple violently.

One after another, the burning tails curled over its body, surrounding its head before pointing directly above its open mouth. As the fox pulled its jaws wider, flames of countless colors began materializing above it, rolling together into an ever expanding sphere of unimaginable destruction.

The blazing mass continued growing until it dwarfed mountain ranges, its surface constantly shifting through every color imaginable while arcs of unstable energy erupted from its core.

Kaizer mirrored the movement.

The dragon’s neck expanded dramatically as he opened his mouth wider and wider until it seemed capable of swallowing the heavens themselves.

Deep within his throat, an endless sea of crimson flames churned violently, illuminating the inside of his body with terrifying light. Rivers of molten fire raced beneath every scale as ancient draconic runes covering his body lit up one after another. His entire form became a living furnace as unimaginable quantities of energy condensed inside his mouth.

The entire planet trembled beneath the pressure. Massive fissures tore across every continent. Hurricanes erupted across the oceans. Tsunamis rose high enough to swallow entire coastlines. Volcanoes awakened simultaneously.

The sky itself seemed on the verge of collapse.

Entire flocks of birds fell lifeless from the heavens while beasts across the world whimpered instinctively before lying flat against the earth. Satellites orbiting high above the planet malfunctioned one after another as their instruments failed to comprehend the overwhelming concentration of energy gathering below.

Yet, no one moved or ran.

Every human being, every demon and every angel kept their eyes fixed upon the heavens.

Children clung tightly to their parents while countless adults silently accepted that these might be the final moments of existence. Even those capable of escaping understood there was nowhere to run if attacks of this magnitude truly collided.

No one wished to miss a single moment.

They all understood, this was something humanity might never witness again. For the very first time, Mankind had watched Gods wage war.

"DIE!"

"BE GONE!"

The colossal fox stood beneath a rainbow sphere of fused infernal flames so massive it resembled a second sun suspended above the world. The surrounding clouds evaporated instantly while the oceans below reflected every impossible color dancing across its surface.

Without the slightest hesitation he released it.

The gigantic sphere rolled across the heavens with unstoppable momentum, consuming everything before it. The atmosphere ignited around its surface, leaving behind a trail of blazing light that stretched across the horizon.

At the exact same instant, Kaizer unleashed an incomparably massive beam of crimson dragon fire. The torrent erupted from his jaws like the wrath of creation itself, a concentrated river of annihilation that melted space wherever it passed.

BOOOOM!

The instant both attacks collided, the heavens screamed.

Countless tears opened throughout space itself as violent shockwaves erupted endlessly across the sky. Reality bent beneath the overwhelming force while both attacks struggled violently against one another. Lightning born from pure spiritual energy exploded across the battlefield as fragments of shattered space drifted through the air like broken glass before dissolving into nothingness.

For a brief moment, It truly felt as though the world itself was about to shatter. Thankfully, the deadlock did not last.

BOOOOM!

Kaizer’s dragon fire suddenly overwhelmed the infernal sphere.

Cracks spread rapidly across the rainbow flames before the gigantic sphere collapsed inward. The massive beam drilled cleanly through the infernal attack before surging forward without losing momentum, carrying enough destructive force to erase everything standing in its path.

"NO!"

Hazel, Racheal and Ruby screamed simultaneously, terror consuming their faces as every trace of hope vanished from their expressions.

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The mighty seven tailed fox disappeared beneath the overwhelming beam.

Its colossal body was swallowed instantly as countless explosions erupted one after another, filling the heavens with blinding light and endless fire. The inferno expanded across the sky until it resembled a newborn star, forcing millions to shield their eyes despite the impossible distance separating them from the battlefield.

For several long moments, nothing could be seen. Only flames, smoke and destruction.

But then amid the slowly dispersing inferno, a lone figure appeared. Damian’s battered body floated limply through the air.

His transformation had completely vanished and his clothes had almost completely burned away.

His black and purple hair hung in disarray as blood drifted weightlessly around him.

Burns covered nearly every inch of his body while countless fractures spread beneath torn flesh. His breathing had become shallow and uneven as his battered body struggled to remain conscious.

His vision had become blurred.

Even so, he could still vaguely make out the colossal crimson dragon charging directly toward him with terrifying speed and unmistakable killing intent. Though his eyes refused to focus, Damian could still feel the overwhelming pressure racing toward him, growing larger with every passing heartbeat.

Swoooosh!

The gigantic dragon suddenly exploded into a cloud of crimson smoke. From within that smoke, Kaizer emerged.

His own body bore countless wounds. Several scales had been shattered, deep gashes covered his arms and blood streamed continuously from the corner of his mouth, yet none of it mattered anymore. Victory was finally within reach.

His body shot forward like a spear, tearing through the heavens before crashing directly into Damian.

Bam!

The impact echoed across the silent world.

A horrified silence swept across the world as countless people instinctively covered their mouths and others simply froze.

Kaizer’s arm had pierced cleanly through Damian’s chest. Within his blood soaked hand was Damian’s heart continued beating.

Warm blood flowed steadily down Kaizer’s arm as the dragon looked directly into Damian’s fading eyes. A cruel smile slowly spread across his face while the world watched in absolute silence, unable to believe the battle that had shaken the world itself had reached such a brutally simple conclusion.

"I win, little fox."
