The two muscular men awkwardly huddled together behind the single Tower Shield.
Even Zelir didn’t dare to be overconfident, fearing that this attack from the Life-Devouring Blood Boil might secretly contain some Magic Power.
’It’d be a real joke if my Fog Flowing Gauze gets broken and I end up capsizing in a gutter.’
Luckily, there was a tree right next to him. He decided to take cover first and worry about the rest later.
Just as the holes on the Life-Devouring Blood Boil quivered to their limit and the attack was about to erupt, Valles was still a short distance from the nearest tree trunk.
He had positioned himself a bit far from cover to get the best line of sight for his shots.
