Chapter 32: Close to hundred million viewers are watching your down fall
In the video, Miss Stephanie was being abused by her husband, with him hitting her over and over again as he forced her to sign the papers before her.
Miss Stephanie was bleeding from her head as she begged to know what she was going to sign, since the main paper was covered in a light polyester covering to stop her from knowing exactly what he was signing.
But after some persistent torturing, Miss Stephanie had to finally give in and sign the document.
After which the father and his son left her on the floor as she bled endlessly.
The video cut abruptly.
By this time the chaos in the room had reached another peak.
Now people were divided against themselves. Some people said that this was only Miss Stephanie clearing one of the offenses, and to be honest there were numerous things Miss Stephanie had been accused of with proof.
But some others began to genuinely believe that maybe, just maybe, everything was a set-up. Just maybe she had been innocent all this while and she was made to pay so much.
But one thing everyone was still yet to understand was how exactly Charles was a traitor.
"Those evidences—they are all fake, and I would show you why," Miss Stephanie said as she began bringing up her evidence one by one, debunking each and every one of the evidence put out against her.
And the thing was, the broadcast was live on YouTube. Since they were not discussing any other thing of real importance, Steve had decided to ride on Miss Stephanie’s recent fame and stream the show on multiple platforms, which would undoubtedly bring a little income. And also, he did it for a hidden agenda.
Yes, Steven still believed that somehow Miss Stephanie was innocent, and if at all she was, that would be the best way to clear her name from the eyes of the public rather than just uploading it on the news that she had been left as CEO because she was innocent.
Miss Stephanie kept going and going, debunking each and every one of the evidence leveled against her with an ease that came with it.
"So as you guys can all see, this is all a set-up," Miss Stephanie said before playing another video on the large screen.
It was as though she knew that she was live, because the next set of videos took the whole boardroom into shock.
The first video was a compilation of how she had been maltreated by her husband and Andrew for no reason.
The video was about 30 minutes long and was detailed.
Those who were watching the video were already beginning to doubt their judgement. They had entered this stream today to laugh at Miss Stephanie when she eventually gets kicked out as the CEO of the oil company.
And since the stream began, that was what they had been trying so hard to do.
They kept raining insults on her in the stream and kept saying how she was the very worst parent and spouse to ever have.
But at this point the whole chat room was quiet, apart from some very irrelevant comments like "I’m here" and all.
Putting that into perspective, the stream was being watched by at least 70 million people across all platforms.
25 million on YouTube and about 40 million on Twitch.
It was obviously almost what everyone was talking about.
Soon the second video began to play, and now if the viewers were stunned by the first video, the second video was a shocker.
It was the exact video with 50 million views on TikTok and over 100 million on Instagram.
Only that this time it was not edited—it was the main video in its original form.
Stephanie also went forth to explain why Logan was in her house in the first place, stating that he was best friends with Andrew until he was betrayed, had his girlfriend taken, and was given the beating of his life.
By now Charles’ face was twisted.
He just had that gut feeling that everything was coming down, and they were coming down fast.
By the time the video had finished playing, the audience watching the stream were already furious.
"Oh my God, Andrew and his dad must be so pathetic to try and paint themselves as saints. I can’t even believe I fell for that. This is ridiculous."
Before long, many individuals were able to get their hands on the original non-edited version of the video and uploaded it on TikTok and all other platforms.
And as expected, they blew up almost immediately, dragging millions of viewers to the stream immediately.
Evelyn also got the backlash too, and even more so now that the viewers were much more.
Miss Stephanie then went straight to play the video of how Logan got beaten up in the party and every single event that made that possible.
She captured the moment where he had begged Evelyn, where he had genuinely begged her, and where he was told to his face by Andrew that he was being used just because he was friends with Brandon.
"Wow, how harsh can one be? The girl even watched him get beaten. This is very bad. I can’t even bear to watch. That girl is wicked."
"Wait, isn’t that the heir to the Rose Foundation?"
"Wait, yeah you’re right. She has about 1.5 million followers on TikTok. I have definitely seen her before."
By now the comments were getting violent. After all, they had already discovered the girl’s background, so it could only get worse.
Miss Stephanie then turned towards Charles and said with a cruel voice,
"As for you, you’re fired," she said calmly. After all, she was still the CEO and pioneer of the company, so she had a say on what she wanted to do.
"In case anyone has something to say, let me pull up my evidence," Miss Stephanie said calmly, like though this was just a minor inconvenience she was yet to deal with.
"Or rather, only one evidence is enough to make every single one of you here believe me," Miss Stephanie said as she began going through her tablet, about to pull out the evidence, before Charles finally stood up and spoke.
"The evidence which have been displayed before us up to this point are fake, and I can prove it."
