"Ye Fan, Zhang Lu, Li Tong." Chang Fei recited these names in his heart with a smile on his face, but outwardly showed no signs of disturbance.
Yang Yan, as a prominent member of the action group, played an irreplaceable role.
After greeting Ye Fan, Zhang Lu, and Li Tong with a smile, Yang Yan looked at Mengyao with intrigue and said, "Who’s this beautiful lady? I haven’t seen her before."

"Do you know the man with Yang Yan?" Ye Fan asked Zhang Lu and Li Tong, slightly curious.
"No, but I’ve heard of him, a very wealthy person," Li Tong said. "Colleagues often gossip about it, saying Yang Yan is fortunate."
Zhang Lu looked at Ye Fan in surprise, saying, "What do you mean? Are you going to suspect even coworkers’ friends?"
"Exactly," Ye Fan said earnestly, "The work Yang Yan undertakes is so important that if the enemy infiltrates her, it would be as harmful as Niu Ben, if not more."
He added, "Furthermore, the mole within the action group hasn’t surfaced yet. Based on Niu Ben’s account, he was a stand-in for Field Mouse, and that spy codenamed Field Mouse is still among us."
It wasn’t Ye Fan being overly suspicious, but in such a position, one must consider all issues impartially.
"Whatever you say makes sense," Li Tong said, at a loss for words. "Even though we have enough manpower, if we suspect even coworkers’ friends secretly, we would exhaust ourselves with no benefit."
"I’m purely explaining my suspicion from a personal standpoint, don’t make a fuss with grand theories," Ye Fan warned.
"Alright, I give up, you’re impressive," Zhang Lu rolled her eyes at Ye Fan, complaining to Mengyao, "Look at yours, he’s overly suspicious, getting so doubting over meeting a coworker’s boyfriend, isn’t it too unreasonable?"
"I think Ye Fan’s suspicion is not without reason. In a precarious situation, strangers or even familiar faces around could be problematic, no need to be wary of everyone, only a few warrant suspicion," Mengyao said as if it were only natural.

"Didn’t you say the fish were biting? What’s the situation now?" Zhang Lu revisited the old doubt and seriously asked.

"Never would have thought Zhao Gongming would be a traitor too," Zhang Lu was utterly stunned.
