"It's Sakura! You were back!

"Where have you been already!

Sylvia ran all the way to the entrance to the store, laughing happily and taking Sakura's hand and shaking it.

At first, the other guests looked at what was going on, but eventually some remembered Sakura, and the blurring spread quickly.

An Oriental swordsman who defeated the dragon.

Its existence is where many Greenhollow Town adventurers find out.

The adventurers who came after the incident will have heard as much as rumors.

admirers. Goal seekers. The adversarial.

Because of my professional relationship as an adventurer, I'm being turned to a caged gaze of various emotions more than I am.

However, Teng himself, Sakura, did not even care about such a reaction, and he has spoken to this one in the same way as before.

"Sorry about earlier, but I was wondering if you could give me some time to talk about the new knife."

"Sure. We're about to take a lunch break, so why don't we talk over dinner?"

My shop - the White Wolf store is supposed to close for about an hour around noon.

The reason is well simple, because I, the manager and only clerk, need time for lunch.

I usually get it done in the dining room at the Young Leaf Pavilion in the spring, but today I was set to surround the table with two people, Silvia and Sakura, at the store and at home.

The food is what I paid for, bought the ingredients, and Sylvia cooked for me.

"Yes, I can do it. I'm sorry I let Sakura help me."

"I couldn't help you get ready to open the store, so it's only natural."

Sylvia arranges the dishes with the behavior she's used to, and all three get to the table.

The first person to cut out the conversation after the meal began was Sakura himself, who asked to set aside this time.

"Lord Luke. I'm sorry I couldn't see the store open. I was going to hurry as much as possible, but it was unexpected that I would complete it in such a short period of time..."

"That's because Mr. Luke is awesome. I quickly fixed the buildings and products with [restoration] skills."

While eating, Sylvia actively tells Sakura what she's been up to.

Honestly, it's enough that I don't have to tell you anything myself.

"Nevertheless, I was surprised at a much more splendid store than I had imagined. There seemed to be a lot of visitors, and wouldn't this quickly achieve sales for opening funds?

"Actually, hey... how dare that sword that knocked down the dragon sell for ten big gold coins!

"Big gold!?

Sakura turned her eyes to surprise and embarked on a dining table.

"And ten! Wouldn't that be an amount I could live without working my whole life!

"No, isn't that too much restraint on boulders?

Since one small gold coin equals the amount of money you can provide for a single family for a month, ten large gold coins are for a hundred months - roughly eight years.

It's a lot of money, but it's not enough for a lifetime on a boulder.

What the hell was Sakura supposed to live like?

"The Tengus of Miyama have been... out of line for hundreds of years. Who the hell buys it?

"Teng? Well... you were a pair that didn't look like adventurers. I think he's noble or a knight. I left just before Sakura arrived, didn't I?

Sakura shook her neck sideways, although it's not strange that we're running into each other at the right time.

"No, I didn't notice at all. I'm looking forward to finally getting Lord Luke to build a knife, and I don't think he saw much of it around him."

"There's nothing left to stir it up."

"Until I told you the truth."

The two of you come to a respectful eye.

Honestly, I can't get used to this.

In fifteen years of adventurous life, I was rarely turned to praise, so I'm intolerant of these reactions.

So in the meantime, I decide to change the subject to something I can easily talk about.

"When shall I build a new sword? If you need example metal, I'd like you to go with the collection..."

"Thank you. But I'd like you to use another metal that I've prepared."

"Another material?

"Yes. Oh, but let's flatten lunch before then!

Sakura enjoys Sylvia's cuisine with a loose face.

You said earlier that you were looking forward to my sword, but I guess you were really looking forward to this one.

But, well, Sylvia's food is certainly delicious.

I heard there are a few cooks at the Spring Young Leaf Pavilion, but I feel Sylvia is the best in charge day of all.

"It's still something you want to eat every day. Don't you agree, Lord Luke?"

"Mm-hmm. The food situation sucked before I got here..."

"It's about to be Mr. Luke."

Sylvia mentioned that abruptly, so me and Sakura got it all together and rounded our eyes.

"This is a business dinner service for Spring Young Leaf Pavilion. I don't normally do it, but Mr. Luke is special. I'll keep it cheap, won't I?

"Oh, you know... there's no way out"

"Because it's Grandma's direct line."

To be honest, it was a tremendously heart-shaking sales talk.

Fortunately, I have plenty of room for nostalgia, and when I'm busy, shall I ask for it?

- While we're at it, the meal is over, and the story finally gets to the point.

Sakura unknotted the knot by placing a cloth wrap on the dining table where she had finished cleaning up.

"This is what Lord Luke would like you to use."

It was an unprocessed ore that glowed red.

It's a substitute I've never even seen. It also seems like a gem at first glance.

But apparently it's definitely metal.

"It's called Scarlet Gold in my hometown."

"Hihirokane... you've never heard of it"

"Actually, one of the purposes of my journey is to find someone who can process scarlet gold into a knife."

…… Can't you do it in your hometown? "

Throwing the natural doubt, Sakura snorted.

"It has been a long time since the means of processing have been lost in the East, and we cannot create new weapons and tools with scarlet gold. If you are a western alchemist. Or I visited you in anticipation, but you can't fulfill them either..."

"... so, for one second, he deposited it with someone and said he was giving priority to the trainees"

"Yes, because samurai training was my primary purpose"

That's how you met me by chance, knowing that by skill you [synthesized] the unknown metal with your sword, and thought you could do the same with Hihiirokane.

The hypothesis does make sense.

Just like the mysterious metal that made up the labyrinth walls, Hihirokane and Yashi may also be made [to synthesize] with a knife.

"But you can leave it to me or something? It's a precious metal."

"Compared to Lord Luke's wisdom, it is not precious. I want you to wave your moves fully."

"Oh, my God..."

I can't wipe away my anxiety of failure.

My trust in me from Sakura is backwards and I don't trust myself that much.

More strictly speaking, do you have the trust in the negative direction that you can't think that you can do that to a man named me?

Until recently, it was the after-effect of nothing but [repair].

[Analysis] I [disassembled] I [synthesized] I did, despite all the more things I could do, my self-assessment hadn't kept up with it.

But that's why you can't just leave it like this.

If you have low self-esteem, that is a drawback to improve.

"... ok, let's do it anyway"

"Thank you very much!

"Don't complain if you fail, okay?

After joking and saying that, I took a Sakura knife and a Hihirokane ore to the workbench next to my living room.
