That night I took a trip to the Spring Leaf Pavilion as planned and decided to meet Dorothea, Sylvia's grandmother.

The meeting place is in the reception room behind the ground floor.

It's a room I've used before when meeting adventurous acquaintances.

That's not exactly the situation where we need an escort, so Garnett was asked to kill time with the rest of us and meet Dorothea one-on-one.

"My granddaughter (Sylvia) told me about it. He's a benefactor of his life and a benefactor of Green Hollow."

"It's a big deal. I just did what was good for me."

When I answered that, Dorothea laughed in tease.

"It's not the motive that counts, it's the result. Whether it's good intentions or self preservation, if the results are the same, you should only get the same in return. At least that's what I thought. I've been in business till I was this age."

- It's not "Why did you do it," it's "What did you do" that matters. Because my grandmother also said...

I escaped the labyrinth with my life and woke up in Green Hollow Town for the first time. Shortly thereafter, that's what I heard during my conversation with Sylvia.

It makes me realize once again that this person is definitely Sylvia's grandmother.

"Pretty grandson and second home. If I don't thank both benefactors, that's why I don't have the guts. But hey... we're merchants, so I thought we'd thank each other, but it doesn't look like there's a gap between us sticking our necks in it."

Dorothea turned the material at hand and read it with pleasure with a gaze at something interesting.

"Let me look into your assortment. Dragon leather protective gear on Mithrill Alloy armor. Magic pills, magic tools, magic tools. It's really a big deal to have all these products in just a few months."

"Because I was blessed with edge and luck. Mithril is the only one I can handle on my own."

"Did you say" just "Mithril? Sounds a lot paralyzed to me. Hundreds and thousands of merchants are desperate to get that 'only'."

Dorothea laughs delightfully.

I couldn't deny that my senses were paralyzed, so I push silence without disputing it.

There was a lot of awareness that I was about to forget that that was a super grade rare metal because it had been handled as normal.

"Well, that's anyway. What matters is just the edge and the luck. It's not the guy who tries to do anything on his own who can survive. He's the one with the connections to pull the things and people he needs."

"... maybe that's true. Some of them destroyed themselves because they could do anything."

Of course, it was Falcon that came to mind.

He overtrusted the diversity and power of his skills, switched his role of reconnaissance of the Demon King's Army to the Demon King Crusade of his own accord, defeated and imprisoned after cutting me off.

But now that it's all over, it's a strange thing because it's only after that one thing that I think I have now.

"It may be an extra favor, but if you need anything, just tell me. I will source it at a discounted price to the extent that the business becomes. Sure, I wouldn't mind introducing the buyer."

"Right......"

As Garnett said during the day, there is no harm in building connections with major chambers of commerce.

The question is in terms of what to ask for.

"… so far, I have not had any particular problems with weapons protection equipment"

"I guess so. Affordable weapon defenses [repaired] the Adventurer Alliance retrieval and luxury items were bought from the Tribrook Blacksmith Union and the noble Beaufort family."

I guess this is exactly what's important is fringe and luck.

Tribrook's blacksmith union, a supplier of high-quality weapons, is a connection gained with an introduction from Travis, his contemporaries as an adventurer.

And purchasing luxury protective equipment and dragon leather, the Beaufort family is the home of Theodore, the same A-rank adventurer as Travis.

It was how introducing Theodore, famous as a dragon slayer, to the 'Demon King's Castle realm', where countless dragons fly, allowed the deal in return.

Both are the gifts of relationships we built as adventurers.

"So… all you need is weapons and protective equipment"

I remember when I had a meeting with everyone before.

I heard from everyone that I wanted to make a product like this, and it was a meeting I tried to use as a reference in the future.

"Demonic props, potions, and ingenuity. I'd appreciate it if we could source materials and equipment for those products."

"Sure, Green Hollow is all about things with limitations on procurement. Leave it to me."

Noir, Erica, Alexia.

They wanted to develop and sell new products as they opened their branches.

I'm sure that's not why you want me to make money, it's a suggestion that comes from motivation to show strength to the full, as someone with professional skills.

Alexia is more of a side business for adventurers, and her main business is mechanical technicians.

As a pharmacist, Erica dreams of owning her own store in the future.

I honestly don't quite understand Noir's mood, but lately he seems to enjoy working more as a magic and herbal expert than as a black wizard.

I am in such a position to be supported by them.

At the very least, it should reward them to have a place and supplies for the activities they want.

"And it would be helpful if you could introduce your employees, if possible. Green Hollow's reversal of the economy makes the battle for manpower really intense."

"Of course it's cheap. If we're gonna open a branch, we're gonna need around ten people."

Dorothea has quickly written down important matters on the note at hand.

As far as that lively look goes, I guess I still enjoy my job and can't help it.

"Send me a letter later for more details. I'll have my quote back soon. Maybe I'll get a buying request from you, but please do me a favor then."

"Yes, I'll be waiting for you"

I was about to take a seat when I thought I was done, and I raised my voice as if Dorothea remembered something.

"Your White Wolf store seems to have a good relationship with the Knights of Silver Wings."

"Yeah, what's wrong with that?

"This is a chat, isn't it? Business patterns, we've been dealing with silver wings as well as golden fangs for a long time, but you better watch out for the previous leaders."

Dorothea slowly rose out of her chair, turning herself over to put her hands on her hips and relax her spine, speaking in a tone that seemed like she was really just chatting.

"The man is still dragging on wartime values. It is also satisfactory that His Majesty the King has ordered a generation change. Now the Knights Commander is a legitimate man, but if you're going to hang out deep, keep him in a corner of your head."
