My 【Repair】Skill Became an Almighty Cheat Skill, So I Thought I’d Open Up a Weapon Shop
Episode 266: Past Tales and Signs of the Future
The next day, I left the store to the noirs and took Garnett to the Hollow Bottom branch of the Adventurers Guild during business hours.
I also plan to stop at one of our branches, which is open for rent part of the branch, but first I decide to go see the branch manager, Florence.
"Please wait. I'm sorry, I had to do my job."
After being waited for a while in the reception room, Florence rushes in busily.
"It's nothing. He's a branch manager, so he's busy, naturally. More than that, do you have time with your daughter (Lisa)?
"I can handle it. Could that be what you're here to talk about?
"No way. You've got a serious job to talk about."
We have an unexpected conversation because we are familiar with the past, and then briefly communicate why we visited the branch.
"Our staff has developed new armaments again. I think it's a pretty handy and useful item, but if you mishandle it, it's going to be a big deal. It seems like it's usually hard to sell."
Me and Florence - and her late husband - are friends based in the same guild house during the Rookie era.
Otherwise, you can't treat the Branch Manager so familiarly.
"So I just want to leave the sale to this branch, so that the purchase also requires the authorization of the guild. Apart from golden fangs and other knights, they can't be bought by inexperienced adventurers or ordinary people."
"I see. I thought Alexia and Mr. Noir cooperated? Do you have the real thing?
"Oh, sure."
Take a sample of the throwing bullet out of the bag that Garnett was letting him hold and arrange it on the reception table.
There are a total of three large, small and medium size differences.
Alexia said, "Consider the ease of throwing and the destructiveness." That's an additional variation I was making before I knew it.
"Throw a spell bomb. It packs a miniature version of the spelling scroll that we sell inside. Normally, by pressing the top switch and turning it on at the moment of magic, the central skill is activated, causing a delay (lug) in activating the magic effect."
"Throw it in the meantime, dokan away!... that's how it works. Interesting how it seems to be applied well. I knew it would be different when the wizard and the mechanic put together..."
Florence takes the smallest throwing bullet and takes a serious look at the exterior.
Though he left the front line quite a while ago, his strength, which in a relatively short time has climbed to B-rank, is not Dada.
It also seems easy to discern the usefulness of a first-sight new item called a throwing bullet.
"I wonder if Luke's worries will be misactivated or thrown. I'm afraid of failure when it's easy to use, but if it takes too much effort, I can't use it properly. It's hard."
"Oh. That's why I want to keep it a system that won't sell unless the guild authorizes it. Do you mind?
"Right..."
Between one breath, Florence responded immediately.
"I don't mind the authorization system, but can I decide on the criteria for authorization here? But I was wondering if I could get a little prep period. We have to decide who to assign the reception and authorization work to."
"Oh, please. The standards will be more legitimate than I think."
Finishing his meeting with Florence, he leaves the reception room and now heads to the Hollow Bottom branch of the White Wolf store.
Along the way, he opened his mouth in such a way that Garnett chatted casually.
"Hey... Luke. You've known Branch Manager Florence a long time."
"Yes, but... what's wrong with that"
I intuitively feel that hearing them call me Le (...) - (...) K (...) instead of White (...) Wolf (...) seems different than just chatter.
Garnett, who hasn't tried so hard to call me by name before, has been calling me here very rarely lately.
However, if you can assure me that we are cut off from each other, it is a way of calling it limited to situations where there is no need to hide our relationship with each other.
It is only surprising that the name was given in the corridor of the Guild Branch, albeit at a time when it was less popular.
"Erica told me. I heard you used to care about Florence."
"... Erica did? How could you... oh, well. He was there when we talked to Lisa lightly."
Florence is raising her daughter Lisa with one female hand.
I have to take my hat off to do the branch manager's job and parenting alone, but still Lisa occasionally feels lonely.
That's when I gave her memorabilia, but Erica was there.
"Hey, you think I'm still untrained by Florence. Then there will be a lot of mistakes."
Turn around in front of the garnet and stop your leg.
If I go any further, there will be more other adventurers around me.
I don't even want to talk about this where there are other guys.
Garnett stopped following me and looked up at me with a gripping face with all his anxiety.
"All the young men who were in the same guild house were obsessed with him. And when I thought Richard deserved more than me, I gave up beautifully, and now I don't have any more untrained shards."
"Richard..."
"Of course he's his married partner and Lisa's father. He was a good guy... naturally, but I didn't even think about being Richard's cauldron."
Oh well. Is Garnett still anxious?
Damn, you don't usually know anything scary... and it's easy to cut and throw away, but maybe it's something you can't be anxious or forced to do.
Garnett only lived about half of me, and the last five years he had joined the Knights as a man of hiding his gender.
I don't have a chance at all to gain experience in sex work, nor do I know how others handle past romantic feelings in their hearts.
Regardless of the type of emotion in the first place, you must not be able to imagine just fifteen garnets, such as the existence of emotions that were split and sublimated more than a decade ago.
"Don't worry. If they weren't Lisa in the first place, it was an old story that I never even remembered. Now you're the only one who can look like that."
As I say things like floating teeth, I pack a step away from the garnet.
If anyone else sees a place like this, they're going to die of embarrassment before they talk about hiding secrets or anything like that.
But once I thought I should be clear and assured, I pushed the extra emotion aside to put it into words.
"If you can't believe it, even one of the proofs..."
"Excuse me. Luke and Garnett from the White Wolf Forest."
Suddenly I get a voice from behind me, and I look back at you in a big panic, surprised that my heart was about to pop out of my mouth with both of them together.
Nestled just a little further away, a man with a robe on and his face hidden.
The moment the person grappled with the robe, Garnett suddenly leaked his surprise by stretching his expression.
"... Gi, Gilbert, Sir...!
