Afterwards, I also broke up with Sakura, who said I was going back to the previous room to pick up my stuff, and decided to go see the annex quarters by myself.

Hilds of the Knights of the Honeyscales, Marks of the Knights of the Purple Peacocks, Sophia of the Knights of the Blue Peacocks… greet the incoming Knights in turn and make sure the move is going well.

Once that's done, now check the common space.

In order to make the knights as comfortable as possible, the living environment is prepared in various ways, starting with a large bathing area that draws in the town's famous hot springs.

I stopped by first to see what was going on in the dining room and it was just at the right time for Sylvia to be tidy with cookware and stuff.

"Ah, Mr. Luke!

When Sylvia noticed my visit, she stopped working and ran over.

"This one is well prepared. I knew the new equipment would be nice."

"Sorry, the inn will be busy."

"No, I also undertook this as a spring pavilion, because it is an important job"

That's what I say and stretch my chest, Sylvia.

"In the first place, it's a pretty good job for us, too. When you think about expenses and hot springs taxes being held by the Knights, it's better to get in than to normally run an inn of the same size."

The living environment of the headquarters, such as the preparation of meals and the cleaning of the large baths, is outsourced to the Spring Young Leaf Pavilion, a professional on its path.

I hear that other Knights rarely outsource jobs that are not directly involved in official business.

If you're a base with a lot of knight apprenticeships, they'll let you do these downwork too, but you'd be talking about a distant future, such as the day the White Wolf Knights hold apprenticeships.

"And... now I can help you, too."

"... were you thinking about that? I'm sure Sylvia will be looking after you forever."

"Thank you. But I didn't think so."

With a tickle of laughter, Sylvia turned her eyes out the window to see the distance as it led to the window wall.

"Needless to say, Sakura, Erica's medicine is very popular, isn't it? Besides, you guys are diving deeper and deeper into the dungeon, so I think they kind of left me... oh, you don't mean you have complaints or anything, do you?

Sylvia smiled and waved small as she deluded.

"... I just thought that everyone had gotten far... So, to be honest, I'm very happy to be able to help the Knights work up close."

I don't feel like I'm being overstated.

I wonder what the hell I have to do to get my sincere feelings revealed.

Joy, gratitude, awkwardness, sorry, embarrassment.

There is a wide variety of emotions that come to mind, and I'm not likely to squeeze them into any one right away.

I couldn't even make an immediate stop because I should apologize for making you have this problem or just make you feel extra.

I decide to tour my thoughts for just one breath, calm my feelings, and then communicate my most positive emotions first.

"It's this way I want to thank you. We're going to be more helpful than ever."

"Pfft... I'm going to come this way as much as I can, so thank you then"

"Oh. But Spring Young Leaf Pavilion is really okay, right? It's like monopolizing Billboard Daughter over here, right?

"I'm fine. I'll be doing some inn work, and I have a number of other popular employees."

After laughing with a glimmer of couscous, Sylvia exhaled deeply with a neat face from the bottom of her heart, and took her back off the window wall.

"... Yikes! So you're finishing your kitchen prep! Because I'm working on another one!

"Oops, I was. Sorry to interrupt.

"No, thanks to you, I was motivated. I'll finish it all by dinner time."

In the form of being sent out to Sylvia with a smile, I left the dining room ready for tonight.

Immediately after exiting the hallway through the entrance and exit, an accidental and familiar voice is thrown from the side to the ear.

"What do you say? HQ set up, it's going well."

"Wow!?... what is it with you? You surprised me because I suddenly heard a voice."

"Evil, no evil, no. I didn't think it was a good idea to break in all of a sudden, so I was waiting for Temehe to come out."

Garnett stopped hitting the wall, laughing, and started walking down the hall right next to me.

As far as I can hear what you're saying, apparently Garnett came to the dining room at a time when Sylvia and I were talking, but he stopped mixing up in the conversation and waited in the hallway.

"... I didn't tell you anything weird."

"Am I?... hahaha! What did you say? Cancer. Hey! He said he knew!

With one hand holding his abdomen and laughing heavily, Garnett has slapped Bashibashi and me on the back.

"First of all, do you think I'm going to rub Sylvia's opponent?

I don't see anybody else in the hallway at all, but just in case you're going to be cautious, I'm going to whisper that by openly diving into my voice as I peek into my face.

A previous statement would probably be taken with recognition to the extent of 'chatter not sure the context' even if asked by others, but now it's just too meaningful.

While I'm having trouble reacting in a completely different way than I was when I was talking to Sylvia, I can't possibly not react in any way, so I put my head to work trying to figure out the most difficult possible reaction.

"They said the other guy was the other guy?

"Come on, I don't know"

Garnett laughed at the garlic and missed the conversation, then suddenly he walked early and stepped forward of me, looking back on the spot.

"Moving and setting up is going to be over by dinner at this rate, and because of that, we're talking about using the dining room and not eating in the face of the Knights. What about Themé?

"Have you replied yet?

"Is that me? You're on hold for now. If Temé's going to eat somewhere else, I'm going to do it that way."

So it's up to me to decide what Garnett's going to do.

So far, I haven't given any particular thought to where to finish dinner.

I was also wondering if it would be okay for Spring Young Leaf Pavilion, as usual, but with this flow, Sylvia would also stay here and do her first cooking job.

Besides, it's not a bad idea to deepen rapport between members of the Knights - including my younger brother (Mark), who still can't narrow his distance.

"Shall we then? All of a sudden, but also the friendly meeting of the regiment."

Thus, the headquarters of the White Wolf Knights, its first day of operation, is well past.

Unknown marvels and great work await us from now on, but at least for now, peacefully, peacefully -
