Having received reports of prototype completion from Noir and Alexia, I immediately decided to get ready for those performance experiments.

I had an idea of a specialist (...) gate (...) house (...) that would help me experiment, and the people I would actually get to try can be gathered as soon as I ask the Adventurer Guild.

The biggest problem is securing an experimental site - to solve that, today I was visiting the Adventurer Alliance branch of the fifth tier of The Day Clock Forest.

"Sorry, ask for something odd. I'm sure it's not the intended use, but I'll clean it up properly."

"I wish I didn't hesitate. And those on the Alliance put their trust in Luke."

"The guys up there are cash, too. I wouldn't have paid much attention when I was active."

The person we're having this conversation with right now is Florence, Branch Manager of the Hollow Bottom Branch.

Sometimes it was a pattern based in the same town when I was younger, and he often facilitates me by feeling close to a personal friend.

"And you're surprised. I can't believe we're icing one room to experiment with a new product."

"He said he wouldn't go that far. If we can get to room temperatures close to winter in the north, we'll be fine."

The performance experiment method I planned is to replicate the climate in the north where new products are intended to be used locally.

- First of all, rent a room that is as airtight as possible and not too spacious in vain, of the available rooms rented out by the guild branch.

It doesn't have to be a branch room, and I can experiment in one of the White Wolf Knights' headquarters rooms, but I decided to rely on a branch that also rents out rooms to the private sector, considering it would not be a good idea to use the headquarters facility for weapons shop work.

- Having secured the location, the next step is to cool the room to room temperature close to the temperature in the northern part of winter.

At this stage, of course, we will rely on the powers of the wizards.

As well as the clerk noir, he also asks Melissa, an adventurer of attribute wizards, to help.

Ambrose, the Knights, was... honestly a little confused as to whether he could speak up.

I don't even think we have a personal relationship of trust with the White Wolf Shop.

- Even if we concentrate the wizard's power in a small room, it's only a short time before we can lower the room temperature.

In the meantime, Oswald himself, who knows the activities of the Knights in the North, and the adventurers he hired via the Guild, will be asked to enter the room to test the performance of the prototype.

"I think it would be cold enough in the north. Look, it's not about storing organisms in a warehouse cooled by magic or skill."

"Oh, there is. Harbor town fisherman or something has that skill. But wasn't it local mid-winter temperatures or something?

When will the conversation flow slip into something chaotic?

It's not a good idea to let the busy branch manager waste his time, so it's time to cut it up and leave the branch.

"Then it's time for you to excuse me. Say hello for the day."

"If it works, you can handle it at this branch. They often say it's hard because the second tier is cold."

Finish the conversation with Florence and follow the branch manager's office.

I went out into the hallway and closed the door behind my back, and Garnett called out as if I had anticipated the timing.

"I've been talking to the guys at the branch office. You should be able to pull some manpower from over there on that day."

"Thanks. This one's perfect for securing a room."

Aside from its out-of-town head office and home in Greenhollow Town, the White Wolf Store also opens a branch that rents a painting of the Guild Branch.

This store has a target audience of adventurers exploring the 'Ark of Elements', larger in size than the head office and more staff.

And I wanted to ask the staff at the branch office to help me on the day of the experiment, so I asked Garnett to negotiate it.

"Now, before you get back to the ground, lightly eat..."

All the errands I have to do at the guild branch are over.

Finally, I tried to suggest that I was also eating, and when I casually turned my gaze to Garnett, for some reason I looked at him with a muddled face.

"... what's wrong?

"No, nothing. I was having fun talking to the Branch Manager, so I was wondering if I was interrupting."

I see, is that what you mean?

"Well, Florence used to be familiar, so sometimes we talk inadvertently. I just cut it up so I don't get in the way of my job, and I'm not in any hurry. And..."

Slap the garnet's back gently and say what you need to say clearly as you encourage him to move out of here.

"I guess it would be most fun to be with you now"

"... you didn't tell me to say that much... damn"

Garnett began to move his legs as he was prompted, with an attitude that he had no choice but to move because he would deliberately stay pointing that way and get in the way.

A few days from the start of the lower preparation.

Finally, the day has come to experiment with the performance of prototype cold gear.

The experiment is scheduled to start after noon, but I've been packing it in a room I loaned to the branch in the morning and working with Noir and Melissa to prepare the laboratory.

First, block the gaps to increase sealability, and prepare lower so that the cold air does not escape after lowering the room temperature just before the experiment.

It would have been efficient to get it done by the day before, but only because it was a rental space, until yesterday others were using it for a different purpose and didn't have time to prepare.

In addition, holes are drilled in the walls to allow observation (monitoring) of what is happening during the experiment from the adjacent room, and vitreous plates and voice tubes are also passed through.

Convenient at this time is the derivation of [repair] skills [fusion].

The walls and components could be connected to each other, allowing for a significant reduction in working time.

It is, of course, a modification of the assumption that once the experiment has been completed, it will be [repaired] by room and completely restored.

"Mr. Luke might have earned some money from architects, not weapons stores."

I laughed jokingly as Melissa prepared under magical indoor cooling.

"If I'd come up with that first, I'd probably have done the carpenter thing by now."

After deciding to close the adventurer, it was almost a coincidence that he decided to start an arms store instead.

It is something that we do not know what will happen in the world because it will develop so far.

"... Ok, is this good for the room? We'll start experimenting when the client arrives, so it's time to start cooling down."

"Yes, I'll stick you out!

I handed over the work to Melissa, who was fully motivated, and I left the lab in a hurry to wait for Oswald outside.
