- Then a few more days passed, and finally the day arrived to set up an exploratory base for the fourth tier.

Should I say fortunately, or ironically?

The journey from the ground to the fourth tier is much shorter than reaching the neutral city of the second tier (Athlopolis).

Start by going down the 'Sun Clock Forest' and through the hidden passage between the Guild Branch and the Knights Fortress to reach the rocky mountain area of the 'Demon King's Castle area' on the first level.

So far they are both common, but if you are going to Athlopolis, you need to go down Rock Mountain, go through the flat wilderness and cross the night at Old Demon King Castle, through the underground labyrinth and down to the second tier before you break through even greener underground spaces… etc.

On the other hand, the large hole leading to the fourth tier is behind the rocky mountain zone, and it takes less than an hour to go down the spiral passage buried in the wall of the large hole, so if you just reach the fourth tier, you don't even need a day.

Despite this, the discovery of the fourth tier was slower, simply because the great hole was hidden in the rocky mountains and hard to find, and yet the spiral passage was buried and it took time to dig back.

And with the efforts of Theodore's Adventurer Party, the spiral passage was fully opened, a little in front of the lower edge of the big hole - approaching where the edge of the ceiling (sora) on the fourth tier was clearly visible.

"I heard the story, but it's spectacular when you see it this way"

I stood on the edge of the hall near the lower edge of the big hole, the front-line hub at the moment, looking down the fourth level from the hole in the ceiling (sora).

Hot winds winding up on hot surfaces are blowing up huge vertical holes as if they were chimneys, bringing hot air like during the summer days.

Naturally Garnett accompanied me next to me, and similarly looked down at the big hole and leaked a short voice, "Ugh."

"That's just the White Wolf's (you), but if you fall from this height, you're going to be screwed before you [repair] it. Don't let them slip your feet or anything."

"If it falls off my leg well, I can handle it. Afterwards I guess it falls while hanging [repair] on me, enough to cure it before I die."

"You're not discussing how to fall. Not even on edge."

Of course I'm not going to head to the fourth tier with that kind of descent (...) Ri (...).

From here on out, anyone who is an adventurer will experience it once, going for the surface with rope descent from heights.

But there was something I had to do here before that.

"Mr. Luke. Shall we begin the pre-briefing?"

"Oops, final confirmation is important."

Called to Alexia, he turns back to a square filled with building materials and stuff.

That's where the adventurers participating in this operation were about to finish their final preparations for their departure.

"All right, everybody. Let me explain again the sequence of operations to set up an exploratory base."

Alexia begins to speak dignified before the Adventurer Party.

The content is almost identical to the description we received before, but it seems to be even better than then in terms of clarity.

Perhaps it's the result of taking care to make it easy for adventurers who don't know much about my skills and skill sets.

At a time like this, Alexia's background as a mechanical engineer and adventurer becomes a great strength.

Few technicians, other than Alexia, must have grasped the understanding of ordinary adventurers and be able to chew up and explain their mastery expertise.

"… and this will be the heat-resistant equipment developed jointly by the Beaufort family and the White Wolf store, as well as the Miranda sewing shop"

Alexia took out her jacket-shaped gear and spread it out to the adventurers to show it.

Though it looks like a thick coat with a length and hood, it is a substitute for a common sense detached ingenuity on both the front and the lining.

"First, the coat body is a dragon leather (dragon leather) delicacy prepared by Sir Theodore. Heat resistant and not even scorching with some fire. Of course it's dragon leather."

The clothes that I and Garnett always wear to the dungeons are also made of dragon leather, and I realize that their sturdiness comes with origami.

Even when exposed to the scorching heat of Warcraft Scoll, it had no effect on the parts made of dragon leather.

"But there's no point in knowing how much clothes have withstood high heat, if they come at unusual temperatures in the fourth tier, is there? So this equipment is equipped with magic props that let out cold air and cool your temperature."

Alexia let him open the front of his coat.

"It may only look like a comfortable lining, but this has the same mechanism of cloth as a spelling scroll. It's a mechanism that allows you to start releasing cold air by instilling magic, and to move safely even in high-heat environments on the fourth level."

Theodore's finished dragon is used to make the coat by the Beaufort family handlers, and the fabric scrolls made by Noir are planted in the lining of the coat without Miranda compromising comfort… a really crowded cooperation.

Moreover, the fact that scrolling can be easily replaced is a structure that is unlikely to be realized no matter how I use my [repair] skills.

"... Yes, it is. The scroll part will be disposable. But it's easy to replace it, and a half-day exploration will last."

Alexia also answers questions from adventurers without even staring.

As a mechanical technician, I know how to repeat the presentation.

"Of course, it's perfect preparation for long term exploration. This type is not disposable, but you can use magic crystals as a source of energy to keep using them for days."

… although I don't feel that the way I talk is getting any closer to selling the product.

"It's just that the path to moving magic from magic crystals is made of misrills, so it costs a hell of a lot. Plus, the misrills are metal, so it gets really heavy. This will be in the form of a loan if necessary, please apply to Sir Theodore"

Finishing a single explanation, Alexia clapped her hands twice or so to sound dry.

"That's it for you! Thank you, everyone, for escorting the building team and transporting materials!
