"Good morning. Mr. Luke, are you awake?

I don't even need to know who the Lord of Voices is now.

Alexia, as you asked.

Instead of the store's entrance and exit, head to the entrance on the home side and welcome Alexia, who was there.

"What's the matter, from such a morning"

"Hey, I'm sorry. I wanted to talk to you as soon as possible. I brought you some souvenirs, so eat with you later, Garnett."

I stare up at Alexia, who came into the living room with a light foothold, with Garnett stuck at the table.

"... flatter me. It hits my head."

"Oops! This is another terrible face. Maybe it would be natural if you took the shark off so much. I brought a treat for Young Leaf Pavilion, if it makes it easier."

Alexia left a paper bag on the living room table and then moved it to a desk for office work a little further away - a space to do the store's business.

Honestly, it's unusual for Alexia to ask with a souvenir.

Normally, it would be because I pushed from the morning of the holidays, but Alexia would have to lean her neck a bit to imitate a special victory for just that reason.

Then again, I guess the problem is (...) appearance (...) within the matter.

"So, what kind of trouble have you brought in today?

"Haha... it's not as much trouble as it sounds. Probably."

"Don't be surprised the other way around with nothing but anxiety"

"To put it straight in, we at Green Hollow Mechanical Engineers have a slightly larger order."

The fast-growing Green Hollow Town is home to a significant number of skilled technicians in Alexia's handwriting.

As well as developing the town's infrastructure, there were many tasks involved in the Adventurers Guild Branch and the Golden Tooth Knights fortress, and their presence had become an indispensable part of today's Green Hollow.

The headcount itself does not extend to cities such as Wang Capital, but in proportion to the population and area of the town, it is also the size of a fold on the continent, with the exception of the real multi-tiered city (Springfield).

And while Alexia is a clerk working for the White Wolf Store, she is also in a position to bring together Green Hollow's skilled technicians.

"Ordered by multiple Knights. The order is for the manufacture of prostheses"

"Did you come after all? I thought it wouldn't be weird whenever an order came."

I scratched my head with my right arm, which is a prosthetic.

The reign of His Majesty King Alfred is only twenty years from now and not long ago.

From before the reign, the continent was in the midst of an ambitious battle between the herds, and with the rapid progress of reunification from His Majesty's reign and the establishment of a truce with the countries of the North, which still do not belong to the Kingdom of Westland, the battle between man for one first came to a paragraph.

But this also means that until recently the whole continent was the arena of battle.

Many of those who fought through the times of war and the war of unity at His Majesty's hands still survive.

Naturally, not many of them must have lost one of their limbs in battle and had to retire.

"Ex-soldiers and ex-knights who lost arms and legs are common in every town. There won't be a handover that can do that to make up for your body with the Warcraft Factor like a wizard, and even if it did, it would seem disgusting."

So from the time I received the prosthetic hand, I knew that this technology was in great demand.

The knights stationed in the town had also shown positive interest, and it was only a matter of time before the voice was officially heard.

Simply saying that the timing was now, there is no room per se for feeling special intentions.

"Isn't it a pleasure to have technology recognized? But why did you bring the story to me? This isn't even a patented product of the White Wolf store, so why bother asking?

It's still here that bothers me.

It has been woven since the beginning that an order for a prosthetic limb is placed in the Union of Mechanical Engineers, and I have no right whatsoever to manufacture prosthetic limbs.

It was obvious that the reason why Alexia had bothered to visit me was around here, but I had no idea exactly why.

"Maybe I won't be able to devote my time to the shop (over here) because I'm going to focus on your work or something? Or not the manager, but I have business as a Knights Commander or a decorative lord..."

Tilting the cup of herbal tea, I tried to line up all the assumptions I could think of, but Alexia just shook her neck sideways as she sifted.

"Actually, Luke, I need you to help me develop it."

"Cooperation? [Repair] Are you going to need skills or even 'Right Eye'?"

"No, it's not. There were quite a few orders for (...) weapons (...) vessels (...) in the right arm."

"... weapons? A weapon... a weapon?

"Yes, a weapon. All kinds of weapons, just like you thought."

I unwittingly hear it back with a missing expression between them, and Alexia also returns it with rhetoric that goes with it.

"They say the knights who have lost their arms and legs are demanding it strongly. Although prosthetic limbs are not completely normal at the moment, so I want to see if I can make up for them with weapons."

"Surprised or frightened... not to make everyday life easier, but to assume a complete return to active duty"

"I think a lot of adventurers think the same thing. Luke, isn't that probably the type of person you are, too?

Alexia tells me to work my imagination.

Suppose this high-performance prosthetic was announced after I retired after losing one of my limbs for some reason, as I was truly an adventurer.

In that case, would I compensate for my physical function with a prosthetic limb and just be satisfied that the inconveniences of my daily life would be eliminated?

The answer is no.

Whatever you think, you'll want to return to active duty as an adventurer, and if it's not going to be enough to make up for the limbs, you're determined to seek a plus alpha.

"... sure. So, what you want me to do is run a prototype test."

"As you can guess. As it stands, Luke, you've been using it the longest in town, and if so, [repair] will help you recover. So, if you reply..."

"Well, to the extent that it doesn't interfere with other jobs, it seems like we could work together"

"Thank you very much!

Alexia gave me a full smile after receiving my reply.
