- Around noon that day, me and Garnett visited the headquarters of the White Wolf Knights for lunch.

The Knights headquarters faces the mountain path from Green Hollow Town to the 'Day and Clock Forest' and is located within easy walking distance of the White Wolf Shop.

Due to its further distance from town than the White Wolf store, the headquarters also serves as a residence for the Knights, with benefits such as bathing in the bathroom and eating in the dining room in the morning, noon and evening.

I never took everyone from the store to use the dining room because I just can't let anyone in other than the crew in easily, but me and Garnett were just a little on our feet to take care of it.

So, as usual, I dived through the gates of the Knights headquarters, and I was called from an unexpected direction.

"Whoa, aren't you the captain? I heard you were off today, but was it also a sudden errand?

"Ulysses? What are you doing here?

A magnificent knight with a dead atmosphere crouches near the front door and somehow works for a grasshopper.

Ulysses of the Knights of Blue Thistle.

He is an officer seconded by the Knights to guard trade routes in the western part of the continent and the only Knights older than me in the White Wolf Knights.

"As you can see, it's a grasshopper. Come on, you're worried about the weeds around you."

"I appreciate you cleaning up the grounds, but that's about it, you can ask the Adventurer Guild. The cleaning business is just the right source of income for the runaway E-rank."

Simple chores are also a thankless task for a rushing adventurer.

It is less dangerous than combat and exploration, and the cost of accommodation or dinner on that day is not a problem no matter how much work you can earn.

I hear that not only Green Hollow, but the Knights branches everywhere are also subcontracting simple jobs that do not involve work to the Adventurers Guild quite often.

Adding to the fact that we don't even want to divide our valuable workforce into chores as a Knights side, we can say that we have a relationship that benefits from each other.

"Hey... to tell you the truth, you've been spending a lot of time here lately just yourself. I don't know how the rest of them say this, but I don't know if I'm gonna be able to stay or if I'm uncomfortable."

Ulysses laughed tirelessly when she said so, wiping the sweat off her forehead.

From time to time Ulysses looks like he's mentally exhausted, but this time, unlike usual, this seems to be the case with fatigue caused by pure manual labor.

Rather, by moving my body, I also seem to feel something like a certain refreshment.

"We can't fight on the front lines like the Silver Wing Knights (Sir Garnett), the Red Wing Knights (Sir Chandler), and the Golden Tooth Knights (Sir Lionel), and we can't eat in research like the Cucumber Eye Knights (Sir Ambrose) and the Honeysuckle Knights (Sir Hild). I'm so shabby, I'm just pretending to work like this."

"The Knights of the Blue Peacocks (Lord Sophia) are almost out of business."

Garnett adds like a chase.

Ulysses, however, laughed out loud just saying he was absolutely right and stood up with his hips stretched out.

"If you were a Rookie like the Purple Knights (Lord Mark), you would have been enriched by the feeling that you were studying (hibi this) every day, but it's only a long career. I'm not proud of you, but I'll get rid of the work I'm usually assigned to soon."

"Then would you like to do combat training? I'd go out with him."

"No, no, uncle. He's dead. You guys would be too well. [M] I'll do my hips with a slash knot."

Ulysses solidified Garnett's invitation with a bitter smile.

Honestly, I know how Ulysses feels more about this than Garnett.

None of the White Wolf Knights combat personnel are powerful, and if they get caught up in their training, they will definitely blow up in one shot, and if they hang out to the end, they must be tired and unable to move.

Thanks to years of adventurer operation, I'm going to have strength there as a person with no skills to bottom-up, but the Garnets are powerful enough not to talk about it to that extent.

Ulysses also has a lot of muscle mass for his age and is in a thin, tight overall shape, but a force comparison would throw him with a single left arm in the garnet.

"Look, even the captain looks like he can't do that."

"I would have liked to have seen the Knights of the Blue Scarecrow sword moves."

"Our swordsmanship presupposes doing it on a ship. It's like a sports field, where Takumi's hair grew in amateur swordsmanship."

... I was blurry watching the exchange between the two of them from the side, and I uttered what came to my mind.

"After all, does Ulysses want a boat job?

"Hmm? Well... Well, there are some places where summoning skills to call a ship seem to be the main focus. It must be on the ship if it's going to show its true command..."

Ulysses stroked the conspicuous jaw of his bearded beard and leaked a grunt, looking far away to think only a little.

"Speaking of greed, will you? The biggest ship I've had since I got here is about as much as I used it in a lake with the Demons' cities. The only use I have when fishing on a lake on the ground is when I say I'm lonely."

As I imagined, Ulysses is now obviously (...) bu (...) and (...).

Belonging to the Knights who guard their trade routes, they have acquired the skills to be active on the sea and the ship, while now all administrative work is in the back of the mountains, where there is no connection between the sea and the ship.

Rather, it's more surprising that I haven't complained about a single one so far.

"Okay, if you ever need help, I'll tell you right away. Well... to be honest, I can't imagine what kind of situation it could be."

"I appreciate that. I'll be expecting you."

Ulysses resumed the grasshopper around HQ with a loving laugh that he didn't seem to expect much.
