The presentation of the new equipment, dealing with the adventurers and the golden fang knights, will also be successfully completed and, for one thing, cleaned up.

Clean the desk or chair you were borrowing, put the prototype you brought in into a container for strict transport, and be ready to be pulled up at any time.

That's how I took a breath, opening my mouth as Noir relieved himself from the bottom of his heart.

"... good... what if... what if... what if..."

"I thought 80% of them would go through, but now you're relieved. Whatever the adventurers were, I couldn't read the reactions of the Golden Tooth Knights."

From previous experience, I was certain that the Adventurer Guild faces would be recognized in this proposal.

It's not because I'm an adventurer. It's not because of this, it's a judgment from the point of view that they would think this because there have been a lot of guys with whom I've been dating for a long time.

"I hope Mithril's permission to increase production goes down safely after that. Cost hikes are mostly due to misrills."

"Ki, I'm sure it's okay... I think it's important... so..."

"Oh, right. Your majesty would judge you appropriately."

In the Demon King's War, we were never forced to supply more misrills than the prescribed amount, but that's not going to happen all this time.

When the remnants of ancient magical civilisations that leap into the ground as criminal organisations - and possess the power to override even the Demon King's Army - neither will the Royal Palace make prescriptive decisions tied to principles.

Sometimes we have no choice but to wait for a response from the Royal Palace, not to the extent that we can do this around here.

Anyway, for today, I finished what I had to do.

I'm adjusting so I don't have to go back to the head office, so I'll kill some time at the branch for a while... oh my god, Alexia brought some boxes on the table that I don't remember bringing in.

"Come on. Luke, do you have a minute? I've got a prototype of the prosthetic hand I ordered before, so I'd like you to touch it for now."

"Have you done it yet? You've been busy lately, but you've got a lot of time."

"I basically did the special protective equipment, but this one was done mainly by other mechanics. Of course I was checking, so don't worry about quality"

Alexia opens the box with her new prosthetic arm.

The contents were the same looking arm as the prosthetic hand I am using now.

"The look and feel of use, that and the weight are finished as much as possible. What's changed is mainly the contents, isn't it? It was originally constructed to have a built-in supply weapon, but it's made with special specifications specifically for you, Luke."

While explaining the specifications of the prototype, Alexia grabbed the outside of the forearm of the prosthetic arm and removed the cover by making sure to remove the lid.

The internal structure from wrist to elbow becomes exposed.

There were no complicated mechanism parts or anything like that, and just about half the volume of the arm was in a crippled container.

"Research on planted weapons is still ongoing, but we cannot take it to a level that will help us in the fight against Agate Lamb if it is as it stands. I originally assumed a hidden weapon for interpersonal use, so naturally."

Alexia took some of the other parts out of the case she was putting in the prosthetic hand and arranged them on the table again.

Should I even say a metal cylinder about the thickness of my thumb and about the length of my middle finger?

There are about six such substitutes, and one large cylinder around.

It is such a part that it is not used for ordinary weapons, just the number of copies that fit in the cavity of a prosthetic hand.

"Ko... this is... what...?

Noir peered into the table wondering.

He is seriously looking down at unidentified cylindrical parts as he busily moves away with his hands to see if the dripping forehead is in his way.

This is not Alexia, and I, the originator, should explain myself.

Exactly. If I leave this up to you, I don't have a store manager's stand-up for anything.

"You talked about me wearing a medallion in my previous mock fight. It's hard to just do the same as Garnett, and then when I pull out the bottom line of [repair] and 'right eye', I can't stand it for a moment..."

"... oh, oh... so... on the prosthetic hand, the medallion... [synthesizes]... the ice, the ingredients... the shield, the sword, the generation..."

"These guys are gearing up to make it easier to do it."

Take the cylinder in one hand and open the lid.

"[Repair] is easier to do the more material it is based on. But it's a hassle to carry the real thing with you or let them pick it up from the people around here, right? So put some of the pieces of equipment [disassembled] in the cylinder in powder form in advance and plant them inside the prosthetic arm."

While explaining verbally to Noir, I made him lock it by doing a trick to get it inside the cylinder with the lid removed and pressing it against the fixing bracket in the prosthetic limb.

"The contents of this cylinder [are] consumed little by little each time they are [generated] … or because they are captured inside a mass of ice to be created externally, if you think that they can be used at least once for about ten replenishments, you've got to be about this big."

"Well, I see... well, then, this... big one..."

"Oh, you put a medallion in that"

"... eh...?

I meant to be more succinct than this, but Noir didn't seem to understand what I was trying to say, comparing my face to a large cylinder over and over again.

"If you're planting the material into a prosthetic limb, but you're carrying a different medallion at the heart, it'll take an extra effort, right? So why don't we just plant a medallion..."

"Size, size... doesn't fit... like..."

"Medallions also [disassemble] and keep them stuffed in cylinders. It draws strength by making it [synthetic] anyway, so even if you haven't fastened the prototype at the previous stage, there shouldn't be a functional problem."

……………………

Noir gave a flashing look under his forehead, and slowly looked at Alexia.

Alexia puts her arms together and thumbs on her forehead, with a bitter smile that she can't seem to help.

"When His Majesty told me I was going to crush the gift, I doubted my ears, too. To that extent, I can afford to [repair] it. Luke, do you call that an idea because it's you?"

"... wow, dude..."

"Yeah, I know you're not complimenting either of us."
