Chapter 1611 - 1454: Little Black Shows His Might
With a flick of the tiger’s paw, countless Yin Souls swiftly coalesced in the air, forming a dark ghostly face. The face opened its bloodthirsty maw, poised to swallow Man Wu’s soul completely.
"Hmph, this?"
Facing the incoming attack, Man Wu snorted dismissively, showing no fear. Firmly planting his feet, he unleashed a punch at the ghostly face, whipping up howls in the air.
The surrounding barbarians, witnessing the power behind Man Wu’s punch, cheered, confident that it could pulverize the tiger.
"Go!"
Muttering words, the tiger watched Man Wu’s recklessness with a mocking grin.
The ghostly face grew more solid amidst gusts of chilly wind, clamping down on Man Wu’s fist and starting to corrode his blood.
"How is this possible!"
Feeling the chilling presence on his arm, Man Wu’s expression changed dramatically. His blood was gradually solidifying, and the cold force was invading his soul.
Sensing danger, Man Wu quickly retreated and sat cross-legged, trying to expel the chill.
"Stop wasting your energy. Let my ghost servant’s power enter your body, and soon you’ll be my minion!" The tiger crossed his arms, gloating over his strike.
"Damn!"
Feeling the ghost servant’s power eroding him, sweat beaded on Man Wu’s forehead.
The Barbarian Tribe excels in physical collisions but lacks in soul power cultivation, leaving Man Wu helpless against this spiritual assault.
Watching the smug tiger, angered and in pain, Man Wu grabbed his arm and snapped it, severing the limb invaded by the ghost power.
"Oh? Sacrificing your own arm! But you think that can stop me?" The tiger sneered at Man Wu, shaking his body.
Countless Yin Souls surged from the tiger, bringing chilling waves, forming three ghostly faces that roared threateningly, aiming to kill Man Wu.
Man Wu, facing the approaching ghostly faces, panicked. Severely injured, the soul-condensed faces were a natural bane to the Barbarian Tribe.
In an instant, the ghostly face reached Man Wu. It merged into one massive maw, ready to devour Man Wu’s spirit.
As the gaping maw approached, Man Wu’s pupils contracted. Suddenly, a strong hand grabbed him from behind, narrowly avoiding the attack.
"The Barbarian King! The Barbarian King is here!" The surrounding barbarians cheered, seeing the arrival of their king, their symbol of hope and strength.
"Father!" Man Wu exclaimed dejectedly at the Barbarian King’s arrival.
Glancing at Man Wu’s injuries, the Barbarian King signaled him to retreat.
"You came today to harm my tribe; shouldn’t you account for this?" The Barbarian King coldly glared at the tiger.
"Account? You want accountability? Quickly surrender the Life Source, or you’ll all become nourishment for my ghost servants!" The tiger arrogantly replied, dismissing the king’s words.
"So, it’s the Life Source you’re after, then there’s nothing to discuss!" The king’s gaze turned grave at the mention of the Life Source.
The Life Source is critical to the Barbarian Tribe’s survival; even the king dared not tamper with it, let alone surrender it.
The king ceased arguing, signaling his warriors to attack as he stepped towards the tiger.
Chaos erupted around them, with barbarians striking the beasts, their primal force subtly suppressing the creatures.
The Barbarian Tribe is unrivaled in physical might, matched only by the anomaly Ye Guichen. Although the Demon Clan is strong, it’s dwarfed by the Barbarian’s prowess.
The tiger saw the king charging forward and retaliated, swinging his paw, coating it with Yin Souls, to punch the king.
"Well done!"
The king smirked at the tiger’s attempt to contest physical strength, launching a straight punch, his body bronzed with earth-shattering power.
"Bang!"
Their fists collided in mid-air, sending the tiger flying.
The king stood coldly, then surged at the tiger again.
"Curse you!"
The tiger felt pain in his arm, expecting his merged Golden-eyed Black Tiger’s body and ghost arts to dominate, but underestimated the Barbarian strength.
Seeing the king attack again, the tiger didn’t linger, swiftly retreating to distance himself.
