Chapter 93: Status After Three Years

Nova carefully examined his status panel and couldn’t help but feel satisfied.

Over the past three years, his growth had been extraordinary.

His strength had reached the Lower tier Grandmaster Realm, yet thanks to his overwhelming attributes, his actual combat strength had already reached the level of a High level Grandmaster.

Combined with his complete mastery over Demonic Aura and his steadily improving control of Chaos Energy, his true strength far surpassed what his realm alone suggested.

During those years, Nova had also awakened several new elemental affinities.

Most of them were common affinities obtained through repeated exposure while clearing dungeons alongside Asia and Rieka.

With the System’s assistance, he had adjusted the dungeon difficulty to perfectly match his own terrifying potential, allowing him to challenge far stronger opponents than ordinary adventurers.

Naturally, he never recklessly endangered his companions.

Protected by Nova himself and his ever-growing Deadborn legion, Asia and Rieka were able to safely participate in those high-difficulty dungeons, steadily increasing their own strength while gaining valuable combat experience.

Among all the affinities Nova had awakened, the most valuable was undoubtedly Darkness Affinity.

It resonated perfectly with his Demonic energy, significantly increasing its destructive power.

His Deadborn army had also expanded considerably. Within those high-difficulty dungeons, Nova defeated and made four Grandmaster-level Dungeon Bosses, adding them to his deadborns.

Each one retained the immense strength they had possessed in life, making his army even more terrifying than before.

The countless dungeon raids and hunts in the depths of the Verdant Forest also brought tremendous rewards.

One of his greatest victories was slaying a Level 700 Wyvern, the most powerful demonic beast inhabiting that region. Nova let it consumed by Moonclaw, allowing it to reach level 700 and the strongest deadborn in his legion.

The remaining high-level demonic beasts were given to Chimera, whose strength likewise increased with every powerful creature it devoured.

After three years of relentless hunting, training, and battle, Nova’s overall power had risen to an entirely new level.

Other than that, Nova had also gained several new resistances alongside his newly awakened affinities.

His existing resistances had advanced considerably as well, forged through countless battles and rigorous training methods specifically designed to strengthen each type of resistance.

After years of relentless effort, nearly all of his resistances had reached remarkable levels.

Nova also invested a great deal of time into improving his lower-ranked skills. One by one, he raised every skill below A-Rank, until all of his abilities had reached A-Rank or higher.

His original goal had been to evolve them all into S-Rank skills, but no matter how hard he tried, they refused to advance further. Even so, he was more than satisfied with the progress he had made.

As for the Gacha Wheel, Nova had used it only once during the past three years, spending 1,000,000 Evolution Points on a single pull.

He had been saving most of his Evolution Points to evolve Lightning Steps into an S-Rank skill, a process that required 10,000,000 Evolution Points.

Despite all his efforts, he had only managed to accumulate around 5,000,000 Evolution Points so far.

Still, the gacha hadn’t disappointed him.

That single pull rewarded him with two new A-Rank active skills, two treasures and few hundred strength, agility , stamina and intelegence stats. further expanding the versatility of his already formidable arsenal.

[Void Veil]

[Rank: A]

Description:

[Conceals the user’s presence, aura, killing intent, and mana fluctuations, allowing them to remain undetected even by opponents several realms stronger for a limited duration. However, enemies possessing Space-related abilities or extraordinary spatial perception may partially or completely pierce the concealment.]

+++

[Body Sculpt]

[Rank: A]

Description:

[Grants the user complete control over their physical appearance, allowing them to alter their face, body structure, height, physique, voice, and other external features at will. The transformation is flawless, making the user indistinguishable from their chosen appearance through ordinary means. However, opponents with vastly superior strength, exceptional perception, soul-sensing abilities, or divine detection techniques may still uncover the disguise.]

Nova read through the descriptions once again.

A satisfied smile appeared on his face.

Void Veil was an exceptional survival skill. If he ever encountered an opponent beyond his ability to defeat, he could conceal himself completely and escape without leaving the slightest trace, ofcourse unless the enemy is far stronger than he imagined.

As for Body Sculpt, it was equally valuable.

Unlike ordinary disguises that relied on masks or artifacts, this skill allowed him to transform his entire appearance naturally.

Whether he wished to become an old man, a wandering merchant, or someone of a completely different build, the transformation would be flawless.

It was the perfect skill for infiltration and traveling unnoticed. Nova then shifted his attention to the treasures he had obtained from the gacha.

One of them had been the SPF Coupon, which he had just used to obtain the Genesis Heart Lotus. The other was the Mirage Prison Ring.

[Mirage Prison Ring]

[Rank : S]

Description:

[A mystical ring containing a house-sized spatial storage. Its true power lies in creating an illusionary prison that ensnares the minds of nearby targets, causing them to perceive a convincing false reality while the wearer quietly slips away unnoticed.

The illusion lasts only for a short time and becomes progressively less effective against opponents possessing overwhelming mental strength, powerful illusion resistance, or exceptional soul power.]

Nova decided that the Mirage Prison Ring would be the perfect birthday gift for Asia.

He took the ring out of his inventory.

Fashioned from elegant silver, it was set with a brilliant sapphire-blue gemstone that shimmered with an enchanting light.

At first glance, it appeared to be nothing more than a beautiful accessory, yet beneath its elegant appearance lay an extraordinary treasure.

Like it Description said, although its spatial storage was nowhere near as vast as Rieka’s city-sized spatial storage ring, the Mirage Prison Ring possessed a unique ability that made it invaluable.

Its illusionary prison could confuse enemies and create the perfect opportunity to escape from even the most dangerous situations.

It wasn’t superior—it was simply different, with strengths of its own.

Now that Nova had finally reviewed his updated status panel for the first time in several months, he felt a deep sense of satisfaction.

His hard work over the past three years had not been in vain, and the progress he had made exceeded even his own expectations.

With nothing else left to do for the moment, Nova decided it was finally time to take a well-deserved rest.

Leaving the System Training Space, he returned to the outside world, ready to catch up on the sleep he had missed over the past several days.

Before doing so, he spoke to Liya.

"I’m going to get some sleep. Wake me up at night."

{Got it. Sleep well.}

It wasn’t as though Nova was incapable of going without sleep anymore. With his current strength, he could remain awake for months without suffering any physical exhaustion.

However, he understood that even if his body no longer required regular rest, his mind still benefited from it.

More importantly, he had no desire to abandon the simple habits that reminded him of his humanity. No matter how powerful he became, he still wanted to live like a normal person whenever he could.

For Nova, sleep was no longer a necessity—it was a choice he intended to keep.

Without wasting another moment, he lay down on his bed, closed his eyes, and quickly drifted into a deep, peaceful sleep.
