Chapter 1470 - 1468: A Cat with Real Strength
They watched as Yang Chen picked up those blades, suddenly walked over to the trash bin, and tossed every single one into it.
After he was done, Yang Chen took two steps back, clapped his hands, looked at his masterpiece, and nodded slightly, looking very satisfied.
That orange fat cat darted out from who-knows-where, leaped up onto the wall, turned around, and presented Yang Chen with a big, plump cat butt.
Yang Chen froze for a second; he hadn’t expected that orange fat cat to come running over.
Then the next scene made the corners of Yang Chen’s mouth curl up in a smile.
That orange fat cat actually started taking a dump into the trash bin! And peeing too! Then it scratched at the top of the wall, like it was trying to cover up the evidence of its crime, but there’s no dirt on a wall, so it was just pointless effort.
Yang Chen was very pleased with what the fat cat did. He clapped his hands and walked off with light, jaunty steps.
Seeing Yang Chen leave, that group of Samurai surged forward with a crash, looking at the blades thrown into the trash bin, on the verge of tears.
"Bastard! That’s some bastard behavior!"
"How could he do that! This is basically insulting our Martial Arts!"
"That damned guy! I’m definitely going to kill him! I’m definitely going to kill him!"
"My blade! How could it... how could it be thrown into a trash bin!"
...
The few of them were righteously furious, their faces flushed red to the point of turning purple.
The smell wafting out of the trash bin made them instinctively cover their noses.
Only then did they remember that orange fat cat had just taken a crap inside and even peed a puddle!
Dammit!
"Where is that damned fat cat! I’m definitely going to kill it!" one Samurai shouted angrily.
As if responding to him, that orange fat cat appeared on the rooftop across the way and meowed at the man twice.
"Damned fat cat!" The man flew into a rage when he saw it, looked around, and in the darkness seemed to spot something like a rock. He reached out to grab it, planning to use it to throw at the cat.
But the moment he touched it, he felt something was off. How come this "rock" was so soft?
He lifted it up in front of his face for a look, and his whole face went green!
This wasn’t a rock at all! It was clearly a chunk of dog shit!
The overpowering stench nearly knocked him out.
The others saw what happened and all hurriedly backed away from him; the stench was way too strong!
"Dammit! Fuck! What a shitty day I’m having!" He flung his hand, tossing the dog poop away.
The dog poop he flung from his hand went splat and landed right on another guy’s face.
He was instantly dumbfounded.
"Ah! I’m sorry!" He hurried to apologize.
The man was still in shock. It took him quite a while to recover before he reached up to wipe the dog shit off his face, his eyes burning with anger as he glared at the thrower.
"Damn you! I’m definitely killing you today! Ah!" The man charged at him, not even bothering to clean off the remaining dog shit on his face.
"Ah! I’m sorry, I didn’t do it on purpose! Don’t hit me!"
Thud!
The two of them tangled together and started brawling.
The other few wanted to step in and break up the fight, but seeing that both of them had dog shit on their hands and faces, they just couldn’t bring themselves to intervene.
One of them, seeing this, quickly reached into the trash bin, grabbed his own blade, and slipped away.
The others followed suit one after another.
In the end, only those two were left wrestling on the ground.
On the quiet, dark street, two figures came together and broke apart, locked in a scuffle.
That orange fat cat sauntered over, glanced at the two of them, meowed twice, then turned around and sashayed off with a sultry little wiggle.
...
Even though Yang Chen had left, he still learned what had happened there through Night Fire’s narration.
He hadn’t expected something this amusing to go down.
"If I’d known, I should’ve stayed to watch. A show that good doesn’t come around often!" Yang Chen sighed.
Night Fire replied, "I regret not bringing a camera too. If we’d filmed that bit, it would’ve been hilarious!"
The two of them chatted idly.
Night Fire said, "I’ve caught up, boss. Want me to just come pick you up? I don’t think anyone else dares come out now."
But Yang Chen refused, saying, "Not yet! I have to walk back! Otherwise these guys won’t give up!"
"Alright then," Night Fire said casually.
"Boss!" Iron Face’s voice suddenly came through. "There’s someone up ahead!"
Yang Chen frowned slightly.
So there are still people coming!
Really some idiots who aren’t afraid of dying!
Yang Chen walked a few steps, turned a corner, and saw a person standing in the middle of the road, blocking his path.
Except...
Yang Chen felt a bit awkward.
It was a person, sure.
But it was a kid.
The kid looked about ten years old, and his features were actually pretty cute.
But... a little kid blocking his way?
The scene was indeed a bit bizarre.
Only...
Yang Chen frowned slightly.
The little boy looked cute enough, but his eyes were anything but—cold and vicious... definitely not the kind of gaze a child should have!
When he was about ten meters away from the boy, Yang Chen stopped and stared at him.
"You’re Yang Chen?" the boy spoke. His voice was childish, just a kid’s voice, but the arrogance and disdain in his tone were things a child shouldn’t have.
"That’s right..." Yang Chen frowned and said, "And you are..."
"Good." The little boy flexed his hands and feet and said to Yang Chen, "I’m here to kill you! Don’t be fooled by how small I am. I only ended up like this because of an accident. My real age... kid, I’m old enough to be your uncle!"
Yang Chen furrowed his brows for a moment. Parasites can make people de-age?
Night Fire’s voice sounded in Yang Chen’s ear. "Boss! That’s normal. Parasites are good at mutation. Making someone regress to their childhood appearance is perfectly possible."
Yang Chen nodded slightly and said to this "little boy," "With your body like this now, are you sure you can beat me? Don’t end up crying for mommy in a bit."
"You’re looking for death!" The boy’s expression changed instantly. He was very sensitive about anyone mocking his age, especially since he actually had the mindset of a forty-year-old adult.
Whoosh!
The little boy suddenly vanished.
A wave of dust surged up where he had disappeared.
Yang Chen felt a jolt of surprise in his heart. "That speed is insane!"
Whoosh!
In a flash, the boy appeared behind Yang Chen, driving a heavy punch straight toward the back of Yang Chen’s head.
Yang Chen hurriedly turned around, thrust out his hand, and blocked the boy’s tiny fist.
Bang!
Yang Chen’s figure shuddered and he was blasted backward five or six meters!
Scrrrrch!
The soles of his shoes scraped across the ground, releasing a harsh, acrid smell.
The boy flicked his hand triumphantly and snorted coldly. "Looks like we’re about to find out who’s the one getting beaten until he cries for his mommy!"
Yang Chen smiled faintly and shook out his own hand as well. The force behind that punch was indeed strong; even his hand was buzzing from the impact.
But he wouldn’t act intimidated. "You little shit! Don’t think that makes you hot stuff. A kid is still just a kid! You haven’t seen what an adult can do yet!"
The boy’s face darkened. He ground his teeth and snarled, "Running your mouth right up till you die!"
