My Taboo Harem!

Chapter 1068: The Goddess in Starlight

The hall was already beautiful.

Black crystal rain. Silver reflections. Violet light hiding beneath darkness. Pale flowers suspended above the tables like moonlit offerings. The room had been dressed for a birthday, yes, but not the kind where people laughed too loudly under gold balloons and pretended cake solved childhood trauma. This was different. Darker. Sharper. More reverent.

A birthday written in black and silver:

And yet, when the lights above the central platform dimmed, the hall forgot its own beauty.

One breath.

That was all it took!

The violet glow deepened around the stage, and in the middle of it, where the air had been empty a heartbeat before, a figure appeared.

Gasps echoed through the gathering:

A wave of them.

Even the girls who had known her for years stared as if they had lost the last functioning part of their minds and were now operating purely on awe and poor posture.

Sienna stood on the platform.

Beautiful and otherworldly but also annoyingly, offensively, unfairly beautiful.

Phei’s breath slowed before he could stop it.

The dress was nothing anyone in the hall had ever expected Sienna to wear.

The gown sat off her shoulders in a soft, deliberate sweep of pale ice-blue and starlit silver, leaving the elegant line of her throat and collarbones completely bare beneath the cold glow of the chandeliers. The neckline dipped in a sharp sweetheart curve, glittering with sapphire-blue crystals that looked as if they had been crushed from the night sky itself.

It then framed her chest and her boobs with dangerous precision—not vulgar but unmistakably aware of the soft, full weight of her breasts rising against the delicate structure. Every slow breath made the crystals shift and catch the light, drawing the eye without mercy.

Below that, the bodice drew in tight around her waist.

Too perfect.

’Cruelly perfect.’

It shaped her slender waist first and then her figure with a grace that made Phei’s fingers twitch once at his side, because the dress did not merely fit Sienna:

it revealed the quiet violence of her proportions.

Her waist looked almost breakable beneath the glittering blue-white structure, a soft, narrow curve that begged to be held. Then the dress flowed down over the full, subtle rounded curve of her hips with a smooth, clinging elegance that turned every inch of her stillness into temptation.

Unlike her two sisters, Sienna didn’t share their same genetic curves but she landed more on the slimmer but well gifted side, even taller and more beautiful than them too.

The gown narrowed along her body before flaring into a shimmering mermaid fall, pale silver and ice-blue cascading toward the floor like a frozen river catching starlight—except where the high slit opened along one thigh, revealing the long, smooth line of her leg with every small shift of her weight.

Transparent sleeves drifted from her upper arms like veils of mist, weightless and sparkling, each thread scattered with tiny lights that made them look less like fabric and more like pieces of a winter sky. Along one side of her waist and hip, soft floral details bloomed in white and silver, delicate against the darker blue crystals, as if even the dress had understood that Sienna needed beauty with teeth—softness armed with cold.

But it was the way she stood inside it that made the entire hall feel warmer.

Sienna did not move much.

The gown clung to the full, soft weight of her well sized breasts, the narrow span of her waist, the lush curve of her hips and the smooth line of her thighs with such quiet confidence that looking at her felt almost indecent.

The sheer panels and crystal work did nothing to hide the body beneath—they only framed it, elevated it, turned every soft rise and fall of her chest into something magnetic. Light slid across the exposed skin of her shoulders and the upper swell of her breasts like it had been invited.

When she shifted her weight ever so slightly, the dresss whispered against her thighs and the high slit flashed another glimpse of smooth, pale skin that made more than one gaze linger too long.

She looked untouchable:

And yet everyone in the room could feel how easily that illusion could break.

Phei’s eyes stayed on her longer than he intended. The dress made her look colder, sharper, more dangerous than usual—and somehow more dangerous made her hotter. The elegant line of her throat. The soft, heavy shape of her breasts held by that glittering bodice. The way her hips filled the mermaid cut as if the fabric had been cut specifically to remind everyone what she was hiding under all that ice-blue restraint.

Sienna, standing still in a gown of crushed night and starlight, looking like she had never needed anyone’s permission to be breathtaking.

The long train pooled behind her in waves of luminous blue-white glitter.

A comet tail.

A frozen sea and a starry veil dragged from the edge of the heavens and wrapped around a girl who looked deeply offended that anyone had eyes.

Sienna looked at the crowd.

Then slowly shook her head.

Her expression said exactly what her mouth thankfully did not: "Why are all of you gawking like livestock witnessing fire?"

She knew she was beautiful, okay?

That did not mean everyone had to stare at her like civilization had ended and left only one functioning dress behind.

Near the stage, Jade Park whispered almost subconsciously: "Who convinced her?"

The question cut through the silence with horrifying accuracy.

Because forget the fact that Sienna had actually shown up on her own birthday on the stage and in front of people:

The real impossibility was that she had shown up dressed like that.

Jade was not the only one thinking it; Elena’s eyes had sharpened with elegant disbelief, Natasha was staring with one brow faintly raised. Yuki looked like she had just discovered a new category of blackmail. Maddie, naturally, looked delighted enough to be legally concerning. Victoria had gone very still while Delilah had one hand near her mouth, eyes soft and stunned, caught between sisterly pride and the urge to laugh at Sienna’s visible suffering.

Melissa, however, understood the scale of the miracle better than most.

As far as she was concerned, not even the Empress could have ordered Sienna into that gown and made her yield.

Not like this, standing there and exposed to admiration, attention, whispers, and the terrible burden of being publicly adored.

That would have required divine intervention.

And knowing who her daughter truly was, Melissa privately doubted even gods would have been enough.

Only one person could have done this:

"You look otherworldly beautiful, Cousin!"

Phei’s voice broke the spell.

He was already walking toward the platform.

The hall shifted with him. Several eyes followed, and not only because he was speaking to Sienna.

Phei looked dangerous tonight in black-white royal attire, his body moving with that easy, careless elegance that made people forget he was still young and then remember something worse lived under the beauty. The cut of his clothes emphasized the breadth of his shoulders, the lean strength of his frame, the quiet arrogance of a man who could enter a room and make attention behave.

Several of the princesses watched him climb the steps with open curiosity dressed in manners, their gazes lingering longer than etiquette strictly permitted.

Phei noticed but his eyes were only for Sienna now.

And Sienna’s eyes were on him with the cold promise of future violence.

She glared as if he alone had committed every event that led to this moment. The dress. The stage. The gasps. The gawking; the entire abnormal spectacle of people realizing she was not just frightening and strange, but devastatingly beautiful when dragged, bribed and spiritually cornered into effort.

Phei reached the platform and held out his hand.

Sienna looked at it then at him, his hand again; her expression suggested she was considering whether removing it would ruin the party.

Phei only smiled.

She lifted her hand reluctantly, but before she could properly decide whether to give it to him, Phei took it midway. His fingers closed around hers with warm confidence, and he bowed over her hand with polished courtesy, the kind of gentleman’s bow that looked absurdly sincere and therefore made several women in the room visibly soften against their will.

"May I have the honor," Phei began, "of escorting the most terrifyingly beautiful birthday princess in this hall down to her adoring subjects?"

Sienna’s eyes narrowed: "Quit the games and get this over with."

The room burst into laughter even Jade failed to hold her composure.

Maddie clapped once. "There she is."

Gianna leaned toward Natasha and Yuki: "Our Ice Robot has accepted princesshood. History will not recover."

Natasha murmured, "She looks like she may murder history."

"Still an improvement." Yuki noted.

Phei’s smile widened as he straightened. "As you command."

"I did not command. I tolerated you and your theatrics."

"That sounds very close."

"It does not."

"It does if one is hopeful."

"Hope is how people become stupid."

"And yet here we are."

Sienna gave him another deathly look which, Phei, being a creature of questionable survival instincts, laughed.

Below the platform, Melissa leaned closer to Sierra. "What did he promise her I wonder? Its not possible tor bring her here on just words."
