Chapter 1104: Other Lies: Face Off With Dravena
Alive in ways that made being conscious feel dangerous, slowly fatigue crept in that was np ordinary sleepiness!
Sienna knew this feeling; it rose from the soul first, not the body like dark heaviness pulling at the roots of her awareness akin to a velvet descent as quiet door opening beneath her feet.
Her eyes opened at once and the pleasure haze shattered.
Phei felt the change immediately. His hand stopped at her cheek. "Sienna?"
She tried to sit up but sailed.
Her body gave one insulting little tremble and remained half-curled against him like an exhausted cat with goddess-level secrets.
Her voice came out sharper than intended. "Take me to my room."
Phei’s expression changed, she did not need to see his face to know it. His whole body went alert. "What happened?"
"Now, Phei."
He did not ask again. That was one of the things she loved about him. Hated. Loved. Whatever.
He could be shameless, arrogant, absurdly narcissistic, and possessed of the kind of face that made intelligent women consider disgrace as a lifestyle choice, but when it mattered, he listened.
His arm tightened around her. A black-white portal opened silently around the bed; reality simply obeyed him, split around them, and swallowed two naked bodies tangled together in sheets, warmth, and unfinished questions.
The bedroom vanished.
Sienna’s penthouse received them in a hush of cold luxury.
They appeared in the middle of her room, still pressed together, Phei holding her against him as if he had no intention of letting gravity, fate, or family politics touch her without permission. The air here was colder but familiar, marked with her presence and dark polished floor, silver-blue light with the faint scent of night flowers and old winter.
Dravenna was already waiting.
’Of course she is.’
The woman stood near the bed in her restored ivory gown, arms folded, silver hair falling over one shoulder, jade eyes calm in the way only deeply irritating people managed during emergencies they clearly expected.
Phei stared at her. "You knew everything from the start and this would happen."
Dravenna’s gaze flicked over them once.
Sienna barely had the energy to be embarrassed; an impressive achievement, given the circumstances.
Perhaps exhaustion did have uses.
Dravenna moved forward. "Give her to me."
Phei’s arm tightened around Sienna. "No."
Sienna closed her eyes... wonderful.
The two of them were about to argue while she was seconds away from collapsing into whatever ancient horror her sleep had prepared.
Very efficient and family-like.
"Phei," Dravenna said, voice low. "I take over from here."
"I said no."
"And I heard you, a tragic misuse of breath."
His eyes sharpened and the room grew colder but Dravenna did not flinch.
Sienna forced one hand to move. Her fingers touched Phei’s wrist.
His attention dropped to her instantly. That softened something in her chest even through the fatigue.
"Let her," Sienna whispered.
Phei’s jaw worked once.
She could feel how much he hated it. from the way his body held her with his power hovered at the edge of the room, furious as if about to be leashed. He had only just gotten her. Only just crossed a line years in the making. Only just watched her soul drink from him like a starving god, and now he was being asked to hand her over and leave her without being there for her in whatever situation she was in.
She was his woman for fuck’s sake!
’This will soon become a habit. A very ugly one.’
Dravenna reached them and, more gently than her expression deserved, helped Sienna out of Phei’s arms. The loss of his warmth hit immediately, Sienna seemed to have hated that too.
Her knees weakened the moment her feet touched the floor. Dravenna caught her easily, one arm around her waist, the other steadying her shoulder.
Phei stepped closer despite himself. "Sienna."
"I am fine, Phei."
"You are barely standing."
"That is a temporary failure."
"It looks personal."
"Do not make me laugh."
"You laughed?"
"No."
"Tragic."
Sienna wanted to answer. She did not have time.
The dark pull of sleep rose again, stronger now, curling through her soul with the cold patience of something inevitable. She turned slightly, intending to let Dravenna lead her away.
Phei caught her wrist.
Sienna looked back.
His expression was not playful anymore; she could have survived his arrogance, his teasing and a smug little dragon smile. But this, this quiet, furious worry in his amethyst eyes, was a much crueler weapon.
He pulled her back carefully. Dravenna allowed it.
Phei bent and kissed Sienna’s lips. Soft. Slow. Far too brief.
Sienna’s eyes fluttered despite herself.
When he pulled back, he kissed her forehead too, lingering there like a vow he was not allowed to say aloud yet.
"You are telling me everything later," he murmured against her skin.
Sienna’s mouth twitched weakly. "Demanding."
"Yes."
"You’re so annoying."
"Yes."
"... but mine." The word slipped out before she could stop it. Again.
Phei went still and Dravenna’s brows lifted by the smallest, most irritating fraction.
Sienna closed her eyes. Excellent. Wonderful. Sleep should kill her now. It would be merciful.
Phei’s hand tightened around hers. "Yours," he said softly.
The answer went into her like warmth. Dangerous warmth. The kind she might survive, if she was unfortunate.
Then Dravenna drew Sienna back into her hold. "That is enough," she said.
Phei looked at her.
Dravenna’s face remained calm, but her tone left no space for argument. "I will take over from here."
There it was; the polite version of get out shooing a dragon away after he had just surrendered, bonded, panicked, trusted, lost Soul Energy, and somehow still been left outside the real explanation like a child told the adults were speaking.
Phei stared at her. For one second, something dark moved across his face. Not rage. Not exactly. Disgust. Frustration, a growing hatred for being managed by people who loved him but still treated truth like poison to be measured in drops.
"I hate this," he said.
Dravenna said nothing.
Sienna could barely keep her eyes open. But she heard him. She heard the weight in his voice. Not childish anger or wounded pride; but a boy who had been pushed from one secret room to another all night, used by fate, protected by women, loved by monsters, and still denied the full shape of his own life.
"I really hate this," Phei said again, quieter.
His gaze dropped to Sienna one last time. For a moment, the frustration softened. Only for her.
Then he stepped back.
A black-white portal opened behind him.
Sienna wanted to say something.
She did not know what.
Thank you. Stay. Do not be angry. I will explain. I am afraid. I love you?
All useless. All too late. All trapped behind the failing wall of her consciousness.
Phei looked at her like he heard some of them anyway.
Then he disappeared.
The portal closed with a silent fold of cold authority before the room became painfully quiet.
Dravenna held Sienna upright for another second before guiding her toward the bed. "You did well," Dravenna said softly.
Sienna’s eyes were already half-lidded. "I know."
Dravenna smiled faintly. "Naturally, Goddess."
Sienna sank onto the bed, the cold sheets receiving her like an old promise. The sleep inside her opened wider now, a black-violet tide rising from the depth of her soul.
Before it took her, one thought remained.
"Phei looked hurt."
Sienna’s fingers curled faintly against the sheet. "I will tell him," she whispered.
Dravenna stood beside the bed, jade eyes lowered. "Naturally, you will have to."
Sienna’s lips parted, no answer came.
Sleep took her.
And beneath the quiet room, somewhere far below flesh, memory, and mortal dreams, the Nether Goddess’s soul and conscious began to descend into the place where her restored Soul Realm after so much Soul Energy, awaited with its mouth open.
Her thoughts were too loud. Her body was louder because the weight of his cock resting in the warm crack of her ass kept pulling her focus — hot, thick, and unyielding, the way it nestled so perfectly between her cheeks, the slow throb of it against her sensitive skin, the way the head occasionally brushed her entrance with every small movement.
The lingering slickness and her shy, exhausted body kept betraying her with tiny, unconscious rolls of her hips that pressed him even deeper into that forbidden valley.
Pleasure still moved through her in fading waves, not sharp anymore, but deep and slow, like the echo of thunder below black water. The Soul Energy she had absorbed sat inside her soul with impossible weight, feeding old fractures, touching ancient wounds, waking places she had not known were starving until they were filled.
She felt full. Too full. Loved. Too loved.
