The expedition ended about four days after the planned two weeks.

Through the third gate, he entered neighbouring Orenia, where he was in charge of negotiations for the mining of rare minerals in Orenia alone. This rare mineral, fine, was capable of trapping magic and was necessary for the development of magic fixtures. Few humans with magic existed in Orenia, and instead of allowing minerals to be mined, they had been provided with magic equipment by Roenberg.

Pass to the reception room and sit on the couch. But it was Ralph again, not Claudia, who welcomed me.

"Are you all right?

That's it. Ralph urged Isaac to go back to the couch, well, sit down.

"Hi Claudia, it looks like we were having a sleepless night because of our late return. He went out on the veranda many times late to make sure there was no return for us. So I chilled myself in the night breeze, and I got sick."

Isaac couldn't get the word out. I honestly never imagined Claudia would do that.

Ralph looked at Isaac blue-faced and laughed loosely.

"Claudia was waiting for us, not exactly, you, I guess"

"... because of Alec"

"I guess so."

Isaac held his head with one hand on his forehead. I regret how I could not have been more distracted.

My fiancée disappeared with the Virgin. Claudia experienced an unusual event. Not surprisingly, Isaac, who returns later than planned, is no longer there like Alexis.

I'm sure she didn't mind. Neither that nor this was due to Isaac not communicating his thoughts properly. I should have told Claudia first and foremost that there was no way she was going to disappear with someone else.
