Hearing Tsunade’s words, Naruto scowled in frustration. "Damn it."

He clenched his fists and charged straight at her.

From the rooftop, Riku watched the scene unfold. Though it looked like a battle, it was really just a spur-of-the-moment test from Tsunade.

Still, Naruto had taken it seriously, and as he lunged forward, he swung a punch at her.

Just before it could connect, Tsunade flicked her finger forward with casual ease, striking the metal plate of Naruto’s forehead protector.

The sheer force of that small gesture sent Naruto flying back over ten meters.

Though he wasn’t injured, he felt the terrifying strength behind that single flick.

"She sent me flying with just a finger..." Naruto muttered, eyes narrowing. "If I want to beat her, I’ll have to use that move."

He began forming a Rasengan with both hands.

From a distance, Tsunade’s mocking smile faded into a frown. "Why is this kid trying that jutsu? Has he even learned it properly?"

In truth, Naruto hadn’t yet fully mastered the Rasengan. He could only maintain it with both hands and sheer willpower as he charged at her.

Riku, still observing from below, shook his head. "This kid really has no fear. Using a jutsu like that when he hasn’t completed it yet..."

An incomplete Rasengan was dangerously unstable and could cause severe backlash. Its chakra nature was highly volatile.

Naruto dashed forward, holding the Rasengan with both hands.

Even Jiraiya frowned. "Naruto, you’re pushing it. That jutsu isn’t ready yet."

Fueled by pure emotion, Naruto acted without thinking. He reached Tsunade and prepared to release the Rasengan—

—but his speed still fell short. Tsunade calmly used a single finger to redirect his attack.

Naruto’s hands slammed into the ground.

BOOM.

The Rasengan detonated violently at her feet, blasting out a crater over a meter deep.

Tsunade’s finger alone had cracked the ground in a ten-meter radius, the impact forming a jagged gully. The sheer force of it made Riku furrow his brow.

Even though Riku could perform similar feats, witnessing it firsthand was still startling.

Tsunade glanced at Naruto, now lying at the bottom of the ravine. "So that’s not the Fourth Hokage’s jutsu. It just looks like it—but it’s still missing something."

"Maybe because he hasn’t fully mastered it yet... That boy’s crazy to try a jutsu like that in his condition."

She shook her head, clearly unimpressed. For someone still a Genin, Naruto was taking a huge risk.

Turning to Jiraiya, she said coldly, "Only Minato and you could pull that technique off. You taught him, didn’t you? Teaching a Genin something that dangerous—are you out of your mind?"

Jiraiya shrugged with a grin. "Don’t be like that. I tested him first—he’s got the potential."

"And besides, I’m not the only one who’s learned it. Riku did too. I told you about him."

Riku, who had been quietly standing on the roof and avoiding attention, sighed at being mentioned. "Master Jiraiya, I’m literally right here. You don’t have to drag me into this."

He appeared beside Jiraiya, hands stuffed casually in his pockets. The resemblance to Kakashi was uncanny—clearly, some of his mentor’s habits had rubbed off on him.

The moment Tsunade laid eyes on him, her brows furrowed. "So this is Riku? When did he show up?"

He had suppressed his chakra so well that even Jiraiya hadn’t sensed him earlier.

Smiling, Jiraiya said, "You were already here, so why didn’t you say something?"

"I just got here," Riku lied smoothly.

Jiraiya chuckled. "Sure, sure. This is Tsunade. Didn’t you say you wanted to meet her?"

"I said I wanted to ask Lady Tsunade about medical ninjutsu," Riku replied dryly.

Tsunade stepped closer, studying Riku carefully. It was hard to believe he was only thirteen—he was already 1.75 meters tall. He wasn’t as tall as Jiraiya, but he was a full head taller than her.

Despite her high heels and presence, Tsunade stood at just 1.63 meters, making her look noticeably shorter.

"You’re Riku?"

"Yes, Lady Tsunade," he said with a respectful smile.

Tsunade eyed him critically. His handsome features aside, she found it hard to believe he truly had Kage-level strength. His youthful face was deceptive, and his chakra signature gave little away.

"Jiraiya claims you’re at Kage-level."

Riku shot a side-eye at Jiraiya. "Don’t believe everything he says. I’m still a Genin. How could I possibly have that kind of strength?"

Jiraiya clapped a hand on his shoulder. "Excessive modesty is pride in disguise."

Riku really wanted to throw him off a cliff. The last thing he wanted was for Tsunade to see him as some prodigy—she’d definitely saddle him with responsibilities once she became Hokage.

"Master Jiraiya tends to exaggerate. It’s not a great habit."

Jiraiya looked at him, puzzled. Why was Riku so intent on downplaying his abilities?

But then again, considering Riku’s personality, it made sense.

He laughed and said, "Naruto knows about it. Kakashi knows. Anko, Guy, Kurenai, Asuma—they all know. You really think you can keep it a secret?"

Hearing the names Jiraiya listed, Tsunade’s doubts began to fade. Every one of them was a Jonin, and even Asuma, a Special Jonin, was no fool.

If all of them believed Riku had Kage-level strength, then the claim couldn’t be baseless.

She looked back at Riku. "How did you train? And Jiraiya just said you’ve already mastered the Rasengan?"

Riku gave a sheepish smile. "I’ve got it down. But it’s nothing special—Naruto will get there too, with time."

But Jiraiya seemed intent on exposing everything. "Tsunade, you want to know why I taught him the Rasengan?"

Riku shot him a glare, silently pleading for him to shut up.

But Jiraiya ignored it and grinned, "Because this kid already mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique. You heard that right—Minato’s jutsu. Not just that—he combines it with Chidori. Yes, Kakashi’s Chidori. He’s got both of them down, plus the Rasengan."

Tsunade stared at Riku in stunned silence.

Flying Thunder God. Chidori. Rasengan.

These were not techniques a typical genius could learn—let alone master by thirteen.

No wonder he was already considered Kage-level.

She smiled at him, impressed. "You’re something else, kid."
