Chapter 481 - 379: I Can Feel It, That Guy Is the Weakest (3)
"See? This is the fascinating state I was talking about."
The Doctor’s lips curved into an intrigued smile as he spoke slowly.
In Uzi’s mind,
he was locked in a life-or-death duel with Chu He.
He believed his own ferocity and power had already given him the upper hand.
Every one of his movements was filled with power and aggression.
His eyes blazed with a manic, fervent lust for battle,
determined to utterly crush Chu He and annihilate him.
However, in the eyes of Florian and the Doctor,
the scene playing out was utterly absurd.
Uzi was indeed fighting with all his might,
but it was as if some invisible, mysterious force was controlling him, making him charge straight up into the sky.
High in the vast, boundless sky, he fought like a madman who had lost all reason,
wildly and erratically unleashing the energy within him. The wind from his fists howled,
but they struck nothing but empty air.
Yet he was completely oblivious, still lost in his own combat delusion.
All the while, earth-shattering roars, like those of a lion, erupted from his mouth.
The sounds echoed through the clouds, venting his boundless hatred for Chu He and his resolve to kill him,
vowing to tear Chu He limb from limb and make him suffer in agony and despair.
In stark contrast, Chu He, the true other half of this battle,
stood calmly beside the young girl.
His form was as still as a stone, like a transcendent Immortal observing the mortal world’s chaos with detached eyes.
But on closer inspection,
one would be startled to see that Chu He’s eyes had become like a magical mirror,
clearly and precisely reflecting every detail of the surrounding scene.
They were also like a deep, tranquil lake, its surface undisturbed, or a vast, unfathomable ocean,
profound and serene.
At that moment, the bright, cold moon hanging high in the sky
was reflected in its entirety within Chu He’s eyes.
As his thoughts shifted, the reflection rippled, creating layers of dreamlike, mesmerizing patterns,
silently speaking of the universe’s mysteries and the impermanence of life.
"What is this technique called?
I’ve never seen anything so incredible."
Xia Chengli rose lightly onto her tiptoes, her posture as graceful as a swallow.
She reached out with her two slender, delicate hands, as fair as jade,
and gently tugged on Chu He’s shoulder. Leaning her head close to his ear, she whispered her question.
Her eyes, like two brilliant black gems,
sparkled with a lively curiosity under the moonlight’s caress, like stars in the night sky.
To her, this technique was simply miraculous.
With just a single look,
he could trap the brutish, simple-minded Uzi in an absurd state of fighting himself.
A method like that was simply unheard of,
and it made her curiosity grow wild.
"This technique is called Mirror Flower Water Moon."
Chu He turned his head slightly.
At once, a light, fresh fragrance tickled his nose.
It was the faint, sweet scent of Xia Chengli’s breath as she spoke,
gentle and enchanting like a spring breeze, carrying a hint of a young maiden’s bashfulness and innocence.
"Mirror Flower Water Moon... what a beautiful, elegant name.
I wonder... could you teach it to me?"
Xia Chengli gripped Chu He’s arm with both hands, shaking it gently.
She looked like a wheedling child, her eyes filled with hope and longing.
Her gaze burned with a fervent light,
as if her world would instantly lose all color and fall into endless darkness and despair if Chu He refused.
"Once things here are settled, I will consider it."
Chu He replied calmly, his tone even.
"Alright! In that case, tell me which one I get to fight."
Xia Chengli’s lively eyes narrowed into crescents,
locking onto the three figures standing atop the castle.
A hint of eager excitement laced her words.
"Heh, it seems they clearly have no respect for us."
The Doctor said softly, a seemingly warm but deeply meaningful smile on his face.
Blue particles surged out, enveloping Uzi and shielding him from all negative effects.
He snapped back to his senses instantly and overheard the conversation between the Doctor, Xia Chengli, and Chu He.
"In that case, I’ll start by taking the life of this cute little lady."
Uzi flew into a rage out of humiliation.
His eyes flashed with a cruel and greedy light, like a starving wolf eying its prey,
as he stared intently at Xia Chengli, a twisted, hideous grin spreading across his face.
Ever since his rebirth after that life-or-death ordeal,
Uzi’s temperament had grown increasingly perverse and twisted.
His desire for women, in particular, had become a runaway horse, galloping into the realm of madness.
Now, upon suddenly seeing such a stunningly beautiful and sweet young woman,
the flames of desire he had long suppressed erupted like a volcano, burning uncontrollably.
Before Florian and the Doctor could say a word,
he shot forward like an arrow from a bow, or a vicious tiger pouncing on its prey.
Without a moment’s hesitation, he leaped from the top of the castle.
The violent power within him awakened like a long-dormant nuclear bomb,
unleashing apocalyptic force.
A surging torrent of energy erupted from him like a raging tornado,
leaving devastation in its wake.
It instantly leveled the castle’s spacious courtyard.
