It was as if a Demon had opened its gaping, bloody maw to viciously tear at the fragile defenses of their minds,

devouring their reason and courage in an instant. Their minds went blank, thrown into chaos,

like a computer hit by a fatal virus—crashed and frozen, incapable of thought or reaction.

"That’s not a fatal wound. No need to panic.

They were just trying to intimidate you.

There’s no way they could have killed Zheng Bolan with a single stab like that."

Chu He’s expression was as placid as still water, and his tone was light as he spoke.

This gruesome, bloody scene before them,
