With a single thought, the five Transcendent God Bloodkind corpses he had intentionally held back detonated simultaneously.

There was no earth-shaking explosion. Instead, blasts erupted simultaneously across the Swamp Lizard's entire body.

The force was so immense that the surrounding space distorted, ripples spreading outward in waves.

The lizard let out one final pitiful cry before dying instantly.

Against the self-destruction of five corpses at roughly its own level, it never stood a chance.

Its mangled body fell from the air.

A large number of Bloodkind resurrected were already waiting below. Catching the corpse, they swiftly dragged it out of the swamp.

Everything had unfolded exactly as Lin Moyu had planned.

While the Bloodkind resurrected began dismantling the carcass, the metallic scent of blood thickened in the air.

Lin Moyu barely noticed it. He had long since grown accustomed to far stronger smells.

Emperor Di, however, suddenly changed expression, "This is bad. The smell of blood is too strong. It'll attract the Bloodthirsty Bees!"

Lin Moyu paused, "Bloodthirsty Bees?"

Emperor Di hurriedly explained, "They're an insect species that lives in the deep layer."

"Are they dangerous?"

Emperor Di laughed bitterly, "Dangerous? They might be the most terrifying creatures in all of the deep layer."

That immediately caught Lin Moyu's interest, "Senior, please tell me more."

Emperor Di continued rapidly, "They resemble ordinary bees from the Human World, except each one is about the size of a fist. Their stingers contain the power of law and can pierce even the toughest defenses."

"Not even legendary-grade equipment can stop them."

"The strongest reach Transcendent God 3rd tier, while the weakest are level 96."

"Yet even level 96 Bloodthirsty Bees can easily penetrate Transcendent God 5th tier defenses."

Lin Moyu contemplated for a moment, "Sounds like some kind of penetration law. But given their size, even if they break through one’s defenses, the damage shouldn’t be too severe."

Emperor Di shook his head, "That's only part of the problem. Their stingers contain a powerful venom that paralyzes their prey. Even Transcendent God 5th tier experts can't resist it."

"I once saw a Transcendent God 5th tier monster being killed by Bloodthirsty Bees."

"Paralysis? Is it a paralysis-type law or simply a venom with a paralysis effect?" Lin Moyu asked.

"I don't know."

A trace of fear lingered in Emperor Di's eyes.

"But their venom isn't the scariest thing. Neither is their piercing ability. It's their numbers."

"They're swarm creatures. In the entire deep layer, there are fewer than ten swarms."

"Yet every swarm contains well over a hundred thousand bees. When they move, they blot out the sky and leave nothing alive behind them."

"The deep layer is enormous, so encounters are rare. But the Bloodthirsty Bees are extraordinarily sensitive to blood."

"They can detect its scent from thousands of kilometers away and track it directly to the source."

Having witnessed their devastation firsthand, Emperor Di knew exactly how terrifying they were.

Lin Moyu, however, remained completely calm.

In fact, learning that a swarm contained more than a hundred thousand bees only piqued his interest.

"It's been a long time since I've leveled up by killing monsters. A hundred thousand level 96 creatures should be enough to push me up a level."

The talent tree within him continuously supplied a steady stream of soul force.

Lin Moyu merely smiled, "It's fine. If you're worried, you can leave first."

Emperor Di froze. How could he possibly leave?

The Bagua Compass reached its maximum speed before beginning to tremble violently.

The danger had reached its peak.

Two seconds later, the compass abruptly stopped, shifting from frantic motion to absolute stillness.

Now, they could only face it.

Emperor Di took a deep breath, "Fine. Then I’ll risk my life alongside you. If we die today, we'll die together."

Lin Moyu gazed into the distance.

A dark cloud was racing toward them at astonishing speed.

Their bodies were fist-sized, with nearly transparent wings and long, razor-sharp stingers.

At first glance, they resembled ordinary bees. The difference was that their stingers protruded from their mouths rather than their tails, giving them a far more vicious appearance.

"Two wings, four wings, six wings..."

Though their body sizes varied little, the number of wings differed significantly.

Each wing count represented a different level.

Two wings meant level 96—the lowest rank among the Bloodthirsty Bees.

Four wings signified half-step Transcendent God realm.

Six wings represented Transcendent God realm.

Beyond that, every additional pair of wings elevated them by one tier.

Within the swarm, Lin Moyu spotted several twelve-winged Bloodthirsty Bees—Transcendent God 3rd tier.

As the swarm closed in, flames suddenly erupted across the sky.
