Necromancers Guide to Magic

Chapter 6 The Ghost of Hogwarts

Benjamin looked at the smiles on the faces of these children and listened to their excitement discussing which college they would go to, Benjamin's face was a bit stinky.

He hates noise and children, because children are too difficult to control.

"Hey, Ludwig, why do you look so uncomfortable." Crabbe looked at Benjamin worriedly.

Benjah obviously didn't care about other people's concerns. In fact, he only needed to find a quiet place to rest for a while.

"First-year freshman, come here soon!" a tall man yelled over there, Benjamin recognized him at a glance. This man had appeared with the savior, and he smelled like a giant.

If the giant's corpse could be used to say how good it would be to refine the undead, Benjamin never gave up this wonderful idea.Maybe he could consult his parents, would it be illegal to kill the professor at Hogwarts?

Hope this is not as unfavorable as the church!

Draco saw that Benjamin's eyes on Hagrid were not so friendly, and he felt like-minded, so he happily walked to Benjamin's side.

"Benjamin, that man is Hagrid, a disgusting monster! I mean, how can Dumbledore make such a person a professor!"

Benjamin nodded noncommitantly and let the descendants of an evil giant be a professor. This legendary principal actually aroused his interest.

They sat on the boat, and after crossing the Black Lake, they reached the gate of the castle.

The road was calm, if you ignore Gryffindor.

Knocked three times at the door of the castle, and a tall, dark-haired witch in an emerald green robe opened the door. She has a straight body and a solemn expression.

As usual, it was a welcome word to the new students, and then led them to an empty room.

Halfway through, Benjamin had been watching the surroundings. He saw a talking mural, which was a novelty.

"Everyone, the sorting ceremony is the next step..."

Yes, Professor McGonagall is telling these kids that every college is the same.

Benjamin didn't believe it. He took advantage of his free time to even read school history. An academy called Hufflepuff seemed to be at the bottom.

As for whether the people who entered were all idiots, he didn't know.

"Okay, kids, you guys get ready here first, and the sorting ceremony will begin soon."

It seemed that because of Professor McGonagall's departure, the ghosts who had been hiding were all filed out, and then they saw a pair of bottomless eyes.

"Oh, my God, I actually, I actually think a first-year freshman is terrible! I'm a Pepi ghost!" a chubby ghost screamed, and it said the voice of most of his companions.

So the ghosts who were about to scare the newborn, all disappeared.

Everyone was whispering, and many of them seemed very excited when they saw the ghost for the first time.

But a child from a wizarding family like Draco thought about what Pepigui said. Will these ghosts run as a freshman?

I had known that Pepi Ghost was only afraid of Dumbledore alone.

No one doubted that Benjamin was considered a dumb gun a few days ago.

In fact, except for Pansy and others after being frightened by Benjamin, their impression of him has changed, and most people think that he will be a Hufflepuff.

Benjamin stroked his chin curiously. He hadn't seen a dead creature for a long time, not even a skeleton.

Of course he was excited to see the ghosts, but it was really interesting that these ghosts were so afraid of him.

Is there something wrong with the materials or steps during refining?

As a necromancer who strongly admires the experimental school,

Of course, he still needs a corpse. Isn't the step of refining the ghost to extract the soul and then contaminate it?

It's funny when I think of it.

"Children, follow me quickly." Professor McGonagall returned to the room and led the group of freshmen out.

Peppy Ghost didn't make trouble this year, and Professor McGonagall didn't take it to heart.

A group of people came to the hall and saw the candles floating in the air, the luxurious tableware, and the starry ceiling.

"Space magic? Really brilliant." Benjamin said with interest. He deliberately lowered his voice to prevent the platinum aristocrat who had been following him from hearing it.

Then Professor McGonagall put a four-legged bench and a dirty hat in front of them.

Benjamin suspected that this hat had not been washed for hundreds of years.

"This is the Sorting Hat." said a girl next to Harry Potter. She is not pretty, she should be the Muggle that Draco said.

Benjamin would not say such vulgar words as mudblood.

"Children, when I call your names, you can put on this hat and relax, it will not kill you." Obviously, Professor McGonagall's comfort did not help much.

At this time the dirty sorting hat sang.

You may think I’m not pretty,

But don’t judge people by their appearance,

If you can find a more beautiful hat than me,

I can eat myself.

You can make your bowler hats black and shiny,

Make your top silk hats smooth and crisp,

I'm the top hat for the Hogwarts test,

Naturally taller than your hats.

Any thoughts hidden in your mind,

Can't hide from the golden eyes of the magic hat,

Give it a try, I will tell you,

Which college should you be assigned to?

You may belong to Gryffindor,

There is bravery buried in my heart,

Their courage, boldness and chivalry,

Make Gryffindor outstanding;

You may belong to Hufflepuff,

The people there are honest and loyal,

The students of Hufflepuff are steadfast and honest,

Not afraid of hard work;

If you are savvy,

Maybe he will enter the wise old Ravenclaw,

Those who are wise and knowledgeable,

Will always meet their colleagues there;

Maybe you will enter Slytherin,

Maybe you make sincere friends here,

But those cunning and insidious people will do everything possible,

To achieve their goals.

Come and put on me!Don't be afraid!

Don't panic!

In my hand (even though i don't even have a hand)

You are absolutely safe

Because I am a magic hat who can think!

"It's ugly." Benjamin frowned. Although he doesn't understand music, it doesn't mean he doesn't have a pair of sound ears.

"Yes, it's hard to hear. But the lyrics are pretty good." Draco couldn't help but said.

Benjamin thought for a while, but he didn't know whether Draco considered a sincere friend or it was a good idea to use any means to achieve his goal, probably the latter.

"Benjamin Ludwig!"

Turned out to be the first one.
