Necromancers Guide to Magic

Chapter 25: Refining Failure

Benjamin looked at the bones in the circle strangely, a little confused.

Skeletons are the lowest level of undead creatures, and their refining is almost the simplest. You don't even need the basics of necromantic magic, as long as you have bones (this is the key), there are magic fluctuations in your body (not Muggles and dumb guns), you can draw a line, and you can refine a skeleton to be a kid.

The price of the simple refining process is of course a fragile body, near-zero lethality, and slow speed.

An assistant once asked Benjamin why the useless skeletons had to be refined. They still loved bone soup.

Benjamin didn't even look at him, and said, "There is a tactic called the human sea tactic. A skeleton is useless, and a group of skeletons is still terrible."

Of course, when a group of skeletons meet a wizard who is proficient in elemental magic, it is equivalent to cannon fodder.

"It's strange, why is there no response? Can't the bones of the monster be used for refining?"

Benjamin was walking around the room, the wild vegetables in the cauldron were already cooked, and he began to bubbling and making a disgusting stench.

"Rotten pieces of meat, foot mud that has never been washed, this is really a pot of frightening soup." Benjamin showed no mercy to his black dishes."But I certainly don't use it for eating."

Benjamin changed the vampire bat back to its original shape and threw it into the pot.

Nana struggled in the cauldron, and she had no choice but to swallow the disgusting pot into her stomach.

"The giant monster has thick skin, low IQ, strong strength, and a rancid smell. This is a creature that seems to come from hell. It is somewhat similar to the legendary ghoul."

Benjamin read what he saw in the book without changing his face. Is this a bold attempt, a combination of vampire bat and ghoul?

It looks good, at least Nana seems to be a little bigger now.(It's possible that you have been drinking.)

"Okay, baby, you can go get a good night's sleep, maybe you will be a big bat when you wake up tomorrow. I don't know how far you are from a vampire."

Benjamin sighed as he looked at the dark sky outside the window and the cold moonlight.

"Maybe the bones are too big?" After solving the mess, Benjamin turned his eyes to the bones again.

He has two thigh bones anyway, it is not a pity to try one.

So Benjamin waved his wand and began to cut the bones.

"Minerva, it's so late, go back and rest quickly." Professor Dumbledore looked a little tired, and the headmaster, who is always full of spirits, would be tired.

"This troll, I hope it will be an accident, Albus. I have a hunch that that person will come back. After so many years, he..." Professor McGonagall stood straight, with a few lines of wrinkles on his face .

"You don't want to say his name? I have been working hard so that everyone can say his name boldly. Voldemort. Whether he has recovered or not, I don't know. I only know that the night at Hogwarts did not Not so, quiet. Of course, I'm glad the children are so lively."

Professor Dumbledore leaned back and made a gesture of seeing off the guests.

Professor McGonagall left, and she thought about the last words of the principal.

The giant monster's leg bones were now three pieces, scattered on the ground.

Failed again.

Benjamin sat on the bed somewhat dejected, he hadn't been so depressed since he came to this world.

Refining the skeleton! This kind of work with no technical content at all, he has failed!

Perhaps, he is no longer qualified to be a necromancer.

Benjamin threw the bone aside, glanced at the blood in the test tube, and fell asleep in bed.

Early the next morning, while Benjamin was still drinking milk,

"Your complexion is really bad? Did you do the experiment and stay up all night?" Frank whispered.

"No, I just didn't fall asleep." Benjamin would never say that his experiment failed.

"Well, I thought you helped Professor Snape last night and he sent you the materials."

It was indeed given, but it was useless.Benjamin laughed mockingly.

In the next few nights, Benjamin didn't go back to his room to rest early, but played wizard chess with Draco in the common room.

"Benjamin, you don't know how to play chess?" Draco said in amazement. No wizard's child has never been exposed to this entertainment.

"I'm not very good at it, do you want to teach me anymore." Benjamin said displeased.

"You look bad and have a bad temper these days. Could something happen to your house?" Draco asked worriedly.

Benjamin felt that he must have hallucinations, how could platinum aristocrats care about him.

"No, I just encountered a bottleneck in a certain interest." Anyway, Draco didn't know what his interests were, Benjamin could talk to him.

"Bottle neck? Well, although it sounds stupid, I mean, it's awesome. But why don't you change your mind? For example, use something you've never tried before."

Benjamin's eyes lit up, yes, why should he insist on the original refining method stubbornly.Maybe the world is different, so the refining method needs to be changed?

"Draco, I didn't think you were a bit smart."

Benjamin's words made Draco a little unhappy, which is what kind of praise.

But he hadn't recovered yet, Benjamin had disappeared in the Slytherin common room.

"He is so handsome!"

"Another way! Yes, I should have thought of it a long time ago, go to his-mother's circle! Should I erase them, and then say a lot of bird language like in the novel?

Benjamin holds a copy of "Exploring African Shaman". I heard that the author is a Muggle, but Benjamin thinks what he wrote is very interesting.

"No, I can't light a bonfire in the bedroom and dance in a hula. Then I will try this, "The Self-cultivation of a Taoist Priest"? From the mysterious East, that place is good."

Benjamin was fortunate enough to meet an expert in the East, and he benefited a lot.

"Hurry as a rule!" Well, Benjamin drew a talisman himself and stuck it on the bone. But his Chinese is not standard.Very awkward.

The bones still didn't respond.

He was so angry that he kicked over the cauldron.

From that day after Nana ate a little bigger, Benjamin would boil things with the body of a troll.

Tonight is the last piece of meat. He also added petals of piranha, roots of sungrass, and toes of lizards.

Although the taste is not so wonderful, it is still precious.Especially sungrass, which he bought from a Ravenclaw at a big price.

"Oh, no! Nana hasn't eaten yet!" Benjamin exclaimed, the button on his chest moved, as if he was moved.

A few bones quickly rolled in the viscous liquid, and then made a "sizzling" sound.
