Necromancers Guide to Magic
Chapter Fifty Temporary Solution
The atmosphere suddenly became tense, and Benjamin was secretly observing Professor Snape. He had a crazy guess that Professor Snape should know something.
For example, the voice that only he and Harry heard.(At least from the current situation, even Professor Dumbledore and Snape have not heard it)
Ron and Hermione both looked at Harry. They did come in the hallway because of Harry.
"Because—because—" Harry said, his heart beating wildly. He vaguely felt that if he told them that he was led there by a shapeless voice that only he could hear, it would surely sound untenable."Because we are tired, we want to go to bed earlier," Harry said reluctantly.
"No dinner?" Snape said, a triumphant smile flashed across his skinny face. "I think the food provided by ghosts at the party is probably not suitable for living people, right."
After Draco listened, he nodded slightly, then whispered to Benjamin's ear, and said softly, "I always think Potter will be unlucky today."
Benjamin laughed disapprovingly. He and Draco now seemed to have been completely forgotten and entered the theater mode leisurely."Dumbledore really likes Harry."
"We're not hungry," Ron said loudly, and his stomach gurgled.Hermione blushed and stomped her foot.
Snape's bright smile became more obvious.
"My opinion is, Principal, Potter didn't tell the truth completely." He said, "We should probably cancel some of his privileges until he tells us what happened. I personally think it's better to let him leave Gryffin To the Quidditch team, wait for the attitude to be honest. Compared to Porter, an honest kid like Benjamin deserves more praise."
Benjamin, who was suddenly named, was stunned, and then smiled reluctantly. He didn't think being praised by Professor Snape in this regard was good.
"To be honest, Severus," Professor McGonagall said sharply, "I see no reason not to let this kid play. The cat was not hit in the head by a broom. And there is no evidence that Potter did anything wrong. Matter. Of course, Benjamin is indeed commendable."
Draco said unhappily to Benjamin, "When did you have such a good relationship with these professors? Is it because you are the first in grade?"
Benjamin waved his hand lightly, "Actually I don't want it either."
Dumbledore glanced at Harry inquiringly.Faced with the gaze of his bright blue eyes, it made Harry feel like he was seen through.
"As long as you are not proven guilty, you are innocent, Severus." Dumbledore said firmly.
This sentence made Benjamin laugh suddenly. In the dim light, Benjamin's smile looked a little cautious. He quietly wrote down this sentence, always feeling that he might use it in the future.
Snape looked very angry.
Filch was hurt in his face, "My cat is petrified!" He screamed, his eyes protruding outward."I want to see someone get punished! Since it wasn't Harry who did it, then someone will tell me who the murderer is!"
"We can cure it, Filch," Dumbledore said patiently. "Mrs. Sprout recently got some mandrakes. Once they grow up, I have a medicine to make Lori Mrs. Silk is back to life."
"I'll make it," Lockhart interrupted. "I must have made it a hundred times. I can make the mandela resurrection potion while dreaming—"
"I think he can only make potions when he is dreaming," Draco said harshly, and Benjamin nodded in agreement.
"Excuse me," Snape said coldly, "I think I'm the potions teacher in this school."
There was an embarrassing silence, most afraid of the sudden silence of the air.
"Mr. Ludwig, can you tell me why you are there? I noticed that neither you nor Mr. Malfoy appeared at the party."
Benjamin only hesitated for a moment when he saw Ron smile with a gleeful smile."Draco was a little uncomfortable, but he didn't think he could embarrass Astoria, so he dragged his weak body over."
Draco immediately covered his stomach, his already pale face made these words sound a lot more believable.
"Well, Mr. Ludwig, because of your honesty and fairness, Slytherin gets 10 points." Dumbledore said softly. Then he turned and looked at everyone."You can go now. Be careful on the way back."
Harry and the others tried their best to speed up and almost ran. When they came upstairs in Lockhart's office, they got into an empty classroom and closed the door gently.Harry squinted at the faces of two friends in the dark.
Benjamin and Draco also returned to the Slytherin lounge, which was still brightly lit.As soon as the two of them walked in, almost everyone looked at Benjamin and Draco.
They were obviously waiting for them, but this gave Benjamin the illusion of a heroic triumph.
Astoria and Daphne were standing aside, their eyes were red, and they looked at the two boys in a murmur.
Benjamin was uncomfortable with them, and whispered to Draco, "I'll go back and rest first."
But Benjamin was caught by these curious Slytherins, apparently many of them were particularly interested in the secret room and heirs.
This made Benjamin a little surprised. He thought that most Slytherins knew the legend of the Chamber of Secrets, and now it seemed that only a few people knew it.
Like Draco, and the senior Slytherin.
The senior student had a sullen face, looking at Benjamin, his burly figure would give people a lot of pressure.
In Benjamin's eyes, it was just a kid who was sulking against his wishes.
Here, Benjamin tirelessly told the lies he and Draco had fabricated many times, and from the sidelines he saw Draco comforting Astoria with an iron face.
In the end, after turning off the lights in the lounge, Benjamin was finally able to break free from the crowd. This was the first time Benjamin liked the curfew so much.
As night slowly penetrated through the window, Benjamin was lying on the bed, Miss Skeleton was chasing Nana and playing.
But in his mind was the lingering voice.
Dangerous and full of alluring voices.
It's just why only he and Harry can hear it?Benjamin always felt as if he had overlooked something.
