Necromancers Guide to Magic

Chapter Seventy Seven

"Scared?" Draco said in a low voice, not wanting Lockhart to hear.

"You dream." Harry squeezed these words from the corner of his mouth.

Lockhart slapped Harry on the shoulder happily."Just do as I did earlier, Harry!"

"What, drop the wand on the ground?" Harry said dullly, and his answer caused everyone in the auditorium to burst into laughter.

Benjamin shook his head helplessly, feeling increasingly that Lockhart was a big liar.

But Lockhart didn't listen to Harry at all. He pretended to be relaxed and said to Harry, "No problem, Harry, I believe you!"

"One three-two-one-start!" Lockhart shouted excitedly, waving his wand.

Draco nodded. He quickly raised his wand and yelled unexpectedly, "Oolong out of the hole!"

This is a magic that Benjamin has never heard of, and Daphne on the side suddenly showed a bad expression.

"Then their relationship is so bad?" Daphne asked in surprise.

And after thinking for a moment, Benjamin nodded seriously, "It is not an exaggeration for two people to say that they have deep hatred."

"Uh, this is unbelievable." Daphne said helplessly.

The tip of Draco's wand exploded.

A puff of black smoke came out, and Harry watched in horror, his hands were sweating, and he could hardly hold the wand in his hand.

When the black smoke dissipated, a long black snake suddenly emerged from the inside and fell heavily on the floor between the two of them, then raised its head and prepared to attack.

A scarlet snake's letter and its sharp teeth came out from the black snake's mouth.

The students onlookers screamed, and everyone quickly backed away, leaving a wider open space.

Benjamin frowned. He felt that Draco was obviously over-excited to use such magic in public. He almost doesn't need to understand, this must be a black magic.

However, this black snake does not look so scary.

Benjamin looked at the black snake motionlessly, always having the illusion that it would speak in the next second.

"Don't move, Potter," Snape said lazily, then looked at the nervous crowd.

Obviously, Professor Snape felt very pleased when he saw Harry standing there motionless and staring at the angry snake.

"I'll get him away..." Professor Snape said briefly.

"Let me come!" Lockhart yelled, and he interrupted Snape very aggressively, and then didn't see Snape's gloomy face that was dripping with water.Lockhart raised his wand and waved it threateningly at the snake, then hesitated to recite a spell that Benjamin hadn't heard clearly.

Suddenly, only hearing a loud bang, the black snake not only did not disappear, but jumped more than one foot high, and fell heavily to the floor.

In an instant, the crowd who had already been so scared that their legs were shaking, began a new round of screaming.

The scream made the black snake furious, and it hissed and swam towards Justin Finley (a student of Hufflepuff).

Then, it raised its head, exposed its fangs, and assumed an offensive posture.

Justin's legs began to tremble.

Benjamin and Daphne both shook their heads at the same time and looked at the pale boy sympathetically.

Professor Snape's expression finally became serious and serious. He glanced at him and shrank aside, as if he was Lockhart who wanted to minimize his sense of existence.

"I, I may have been a little too excited just now. Really, I am very experienced in dealing with a trivial little snake."

Snape gave Lockhart a ferocious look, and finally he closed his mouth.

"Snake." Benjamin said softly. He looked at the black snake and didn't know why, but remembered what Leonardo had said to him.

Maybe he could try to talk to this black snake, let it let Justin go, and then give Lockhart a bite?

But Benjamin immediately gave up this idea. If he did, everyone would think he was a monster.

Harry looked at poor Justin at this time, feeling very distressed and guilty. He felt that it was because of himself that caused such consequences.

Immediately afterwards, Harry didn't understand why he did it, he didn't even realize that he decided to do it.He only knew that his legs moved forward automatically, as if stepping on casters, and then he stupidly shouted at the snake: "Let him go!"

Benjamin, who was watching, understood this sentence, and his deep pupils suddenly tightened.

And Draco, who had been standing motionless across from Harry, suddenly dropped his wand with some chagrin.

A miracle happened—it was incredible—the snake collapsed on the floor after listening to Harry’s words, soft as a pile of thick black watering hoses, and his eyes fixed on Harry meekly. It's like his pet.

Harry felt his fear disappear little by little. He knew that the snake would never attack anyone again, but he couldn't tell how he knew it.

Benjamin had been observing the surroundings, and it was not difficult for him to find that many people showed an expression that was not very friendly, even fearful, after seeing Harry's performance.

Harry looked up at Justin over there, grinning. He thought he would see a relaxed, confused, or grateful expression on Justin's face—and he could never be angry or frightened.

"What do you think you are playing?" Justin shouted angrily. Before Harry could speak, Justin turned and rushed out of the auditorium.

Professor Snape stepped forward and waved his wand. The snake that collapsed on the ground turned into a plume of black smoke and disappeared.Snape also looked at him with a look that surprised him: it was a look that was cunning and calculating.

At this moment, the people all around were whispering ominously, and the center of their discussion was Harry.

At this moment, someone pulled Harry by the back of his clothes. It was Ron.

"Come on," Ron came to Harry's side, "Come on, we!"

Benjamin watched Ron and led Harry out of the auditorium, and Hermione hurriedly walked beside them. When they went out, people gave way to both sides, as if they were afraid of getting involved.

"Harry turned out to be a snake-like voice." Draco said half excited and half sad.

Benjamin had heard the name more than once, but he still didn't realize what it meant.
