Episode IX: The Castle Fortress City of Avisvena

According to Millie, the journey from Darvis Forest to Abysvena would take about two days. I met some demons along the way, but Millie had no difficulty controlling them and the journey went smoothly.

On the road, I was drawing general knowledge of the Cono world from Millie. First of all, the world I'm in now seems to be called Grimoire.

Grimoire has two continents, and now I'm there. It seems to be a continent called the Devil's Continent. And it is the Real Demon Kingdom, which culminates in the Demon King, that governs the Demonic Continent.

"The Real Demon Kingdom" seems to consist of eight tribes, and when I asked Millie about the tribe's name, she told me that it was the "Real Demon Nation", "Black Dragon Nation", "Garuda Lo", "Dream Demon Nation", "Ra", "Asura", "Demon Nation", "Demon Nation", and "Demon Nation".

The eight races that were in the character makeup appear to be tribal as they are.

By the way, the demographic ratio is going to be about 100 Demons: 1 Black Dragons: 1 Dreams Demons: 3 Asuras: 5 Rhesus: 5 Garuduro: 15 Demons: 30 Demons: 40.

Secondly, it seems that the language that is a language but commonly used within the kingdom is Western. I can talk, but it turns out I can't read. I couldn't read the crawling letters of the mistletoe on the road. Millie also told me that there was dragon language used by the Black Dragon Nation, demonic language used by the Demon Nation, and beast language used by some of the Garuda Lo Nation.

However, they were told that if western language was spoken, communication would be possible in any region. Not confident in the language at all, I was relieved to hear the story.

But I thought I had to remember only Western characters, so I'll have Millie tutor me when I calm down.

In all worlds, there's no busy work coming around for guys who can't read or write.

And besides the healing magic that Millie showed me in this world, they have magic. That's the fantasy world.

I asked Millie to show me some elementary fire attribute attack magic, but the fire arrows that occurred at my fingertips popped out at my enemies.

I almost made a voice out of it when it was cool, but I asked Goodness Millie how to master magic.

Apparently, magic is difficult to master without taking the Magician's Guild certification exam.

On rare occasions, even people who have not taken a certification exam activate witchcraft, but the witchcraft level seems to be low.

If this world wasn't a game and there was no way to go home because I had been summoned by another world, it would be an essential skill to survive. I want you to have magic skills, too.

There were more things I wanted to ask, but Millie might be surprised to hear more, so I stopped.

And we got to the destination, Avisvena. Avisvena was the largest city in the southern part of the Real Demonic Kingdom, a fortified city surrounded by huge walls.

The city was divided between east, west and north, and was taught that one side was four kilometers square.

To the north, it is said that noble neighborhoods, including the castle hall of the lord Borderline, to the south, Hunter Street, where the monster hunters live in dense lodges, taverns, etc. and there are hunter guilds, to the west, the magic district, where there are mage guilds and healers, and to the east, the shopping district, where blacksmiths and merchants live.

They also have Royal Army garrisons nearby.

I went with Millie to the gatekeeper at the South Gate. Four or five people lined up around the South Gate to enter the city.

"Stop. Show me your ID card again. And as an entry tax, I want you to give me three copies of copper coins."

A gatekeeping man tells Eagle Deep. I don't even know the price of this world. I'm not sure if it's high or low for me. Plus, there's no money at all.

"Next!"

My turn came around. A black stone column stands in front of me.

"Provide your ID or your guild card"

"I don't have either... and a bundle of money"

The man filling out the ledger has turned a surprise face. Then Millie approached me.

He's Kent, my owner of the Demon Clan.

The gatekeeper's face when he saw Millie turned pale and white.

"Bu, Sir Black Dagger!!

The gatekeepers start making noise with Zawazawa.

"I guarantee Master Kent's identity, so can we go through?

"Yes, please. Come through."

I met the gatekeepers and went through the gate.

VIP treatment is awesome. It's a face pass. Mr. Millie, who are you? I knew by status that you were noble... but now you're halfway screwed with a VIP feeling.

"Kent, I'm sorry. I could have paid about the city tax. It's a hassle."

"And yet, Millie, that's amazing. The gatekeepers were surprised."

"Hmm? Well, you're a little celebrity in this city."

Millie answers with a slight blur.

"What more do we do now? Do you have somewhere you want to go?

"No, there's nothing in particular. You can do Millie's errands in advance."

It would be better to rely on Milly with a land survey than to do it alone in a place where we don't know whether to collect information or right or left. Let me show you around the city when Millie's busy.

"Then I'd like to settle on the Hunter Guild and then leave my stuff at home"

"So, can you show me around this city afterwards?

"Okay. Leave it to your sister."

No heart or Millie's footsteps look like they're playing. I mean, can I interpret this as a 'date'?

"Dating" is the least relevant word in the original world. Seeing a couple flirting, I thought, "Rear charge explode," which is what happened to me when I tried to get down and sprang up.

I got nervous when I thought so.

Look around the city, eat, and then it's that array, isn't it? Can we just hold hands? You can't hold hands in public again, can you? Should I put my arms around you?

Various questions come to mind. My head to the Hunter Guild was full of 'dating' stuff.

That? That was information-gathering, wasn't it?
