Episode 43: Secret Talks

I'm sitting on Uncle Arborest's own couch right now. I was summoned early in the morning and when I came to the castle, I was guided to my room.

I was a little confused, to be honest, when I thought they'd call me to the office. Because Uncle Arborest has never called me into his room before.

"It's the first time, my uncle invites me to his room"

In my words, my uncle Arborest, who stood at the window with his back turned this way.

"Oh, I can't do that in the office. It's a long story, until I invite you to my room."

Tension runs on me at my uncle's word.

Was it a bad leak of information to the Dorman family yesterday? Or shouldn't I have reported it after all?

"Uncle Arborest, does today's call have anything to do with possibly leaking Kent's information to the Dorman side about yesterday's side room from the Dorman family?

Uncle Arborest looks like he's in trouble for my inquiry.

"Yeah, that's one of the reasons I called it, but the more important reason is Kent."

"Are you talking about Kent?

"Oh, Kent is now. We're increasing our chances of being in a very dangerous position."

Uncle Arborest is looking at the ceiling with his arms around him and no gaze at me.

I was in a bit of a hurry wondering what Kent meant by putting himself in a dangerous position.

"Yes, why would Kent be in danger! Uncle Arborest!

"Millie, I've been careful many times to keep a corner of my head about politics because you're a nobleman too."

Uncle Arborest sighs.

"Is it bad for Kent to be my owner (master)?

Uncle Arborest shook his head at my words.

"Look, Millie. From now on, I'm going to be very polite about Kent's position. First and foremost, he's the owner of the Dream Demon's Black Dagger, and he's making you his fiancée for" Candidate for the Former Demon King's Bride ". Secondly, they are blood related with both of the Dawman family's sons in the heavy town of Magic Guild as side-room candidates. And thirdly, he is a demonic tribe with a rare [red] hold and abnormally fast job growth speed instead of having a short life span with a racial feature. Finally, fourth, this surprised me by making me look into it as well, but I can captivate women with Kent's unique skill composition. Kent is the person who combines the above four points."

I confirmed Kent's awesomeness again in the words of my Uncle Arborest. I tend to forget about it because of the atmosphere that I have always found out about myself, but I realized once again that if I wanted to, I could also be a demon king.

"Do you want to say that Kent is a person who can be the Demon King? Uncle Arborest."

"I can't give you the answer to that. Look, I'm gonna make it clear to you. [Red] A man of the demonic tribe who has and grows fast has the Black Dagger of the Dream Demon and the Bride of the Demon King, a testament to the Demon King, is related to the house of a leading man of the Sorcery Guild, and even has the ability to captivate women. Let that be known publicly, the demons who have never been able to produce a demon king before and have never been unfaithful will be happy and brave enough to plot the inauguration of Kent's demon king, and the Rakhs, including the Dorman family, will be on that plot, and the Dream Demons will certainly participate in the Thakubus species, and more importantly, they will be able to take in the wives and daughters of the powerful."

I understood what Uncle Arborest said. In other words, there's a good chance Kent will be the flag of the demon king politically overthrown.

Come on, I'm losing blood.

"Oh, no, Kent doesn't want to be a demon king. I just want to live a normal life in Koch."

"Millie, it doesn't work in political mechanics, the environment surrounding Kent is leaning towards those who kill Kent himself."

"So, but it has a rare [red] in the kingdom, Kent."

I asked Uncle Arborest in a grueling mood.

"Although the Real Demon Kingdom currently has a battle against demons (monsters) and alien creatures (analyzer monsters), at a time when most of the kingdom is kept at peace, the current Demon King is not a favorite enough to keep alive those who, though [red] possess them, become sparks of civil unrest."

"But Lady Crade and Lady Fabranova, the Black Dragon King, want to live!

I told him that no other [red] person had been killed.

"The other two are away from politics and making children of it. And Lady Crade is too strong to kill, and Lady Fabranova, the Black Dragon King, has strict power within the kingdom. So I can't kill you if I want to. But not Kent now! No matter how many millies there are, Kent himself doesn't have the overwhelming power, and the power base at the moment is equal to none. What happens when that's someone close to politics and active in child creation? If I try to be your majesty, I'll have to kill you."

"Well, if you take it into your own people,"

"That is the same as sleeping with a sword hanging over His Majesty's own head. You'll be anxious to see what time they scratch your neck, but it's gone. It would be easier if you hadn't been there to do that."

I was shocked by the words my uncle told me.

"Oh no, Master Shifa..."

"Besides, there are not many tribes who remember the current demon king's obvious Asura preference, and if Kent's card color is made public, the possibility of a rebel firearm at once cannot be abandoned."

So, was Uncle Arborest giving a password about Kent's card color?

Looks like I even tightened Kent's neck for taking in the Dorman family in my own far-fetched behavior.

I don't know what to do, what to do.

My thoughts were confusing and I couldn't come up with a good solution.

"Uncle Arborest! I can't stand Kent dying. What shall we do! We have to take Shifa's life."

"Hold on! Now it's just going to be extra easy to assassinate His Majesty the Demon King. Don't worry. Kent's card color has been tampered with by the eagle and reported in [blue]. I hear my brother Gwayne is pretty because of you. After dismissing the Demon King's Bride, he made the [Blue] Demon Man the owner (Master), so he's also in perspective."

I was relieved to hear what Uncle Arborest had to say, that the allowance from my father was a trivial thing compared to Kent's life.

"Thank you, Uncle Arborest, but why are you even tampering with me to protect Kent, if the tampering finds out, my uncle will be punished too"

Uncle Arborest speaks with a serious face.

"Seriously report about Kent, and if things go public and there is a rebellion, it is certain that the neck of Abysvena's lord, whose demons and the inhabitants of the Raj make up the majority, will be targeted first by the rebels. I spare my life, too. So I just tampered with it. And you like Kent a lot."

"Uncle Arborest..."

"But I don't know when this tampering will come to light. By that time, Kent himself, including the back shield, will have to be strong so that His Majesty can't help him. You can take command of the garrison if Kent wants, and I have as much power as you want."

Kent told the general… I imagined it but I felt it didn't look good. But if that's going to help protect Kent, I'm going to have to take him in aggressively, and I'm starting to think Kent himself is going to have to be strong.

But even to make Kent stronger, there are limits to growth in training if Kent dies from doing something dangerous.

Again, it's a fast track, but it's dangerous, to be the strongest in action. Uncle Arborest has suggested that I am obsessed with the contradiction of thought.

"First, you can try to train Millie to train Kent as a demon hunter (monster hunter), while at the same time developing talent to escort Kent. Demon hunting would be Millie's specialty, though. Plus, if you form a hunting group and make all sorts of requests, you'll get connections, and you'll have a chance to take in the best."

"But monster hunters are too dangerous..."

"Then you can live here with Kent until you find out and His Majesty sends in an assassin or an army. But in that case, all the people involved in Kent will be executed and punished."

It occurred to me that if that happened, Kent himself would, of course, be executed for all those who received Kent's children. If you don't, there's no point in killing Kent.

I have no idea when I'm going to find out, I might be able to get a full life expectancy without finding out as it is, and one morning, I could suddenly be killed.

Demon hunters (monster hunters) are also jobs that don't know when to die, but they are less likely to die if they get stronger.

I just have to make a decision...

I made up my mind to turn Kent into a monster hunter so that he wouldn't get killed and that we would have a full life together.

"Uncle Arborest, I will build a hunting group to train Kent as a monster hunter. And when you get stronger, incorporate every hunting regiment into the garrison and put Kent in command to power."

"Okay. Unlike my brother, I've been single for a long time before my wife. Millie, you're like my daughter. If my brother makes a mistake, I'm going to get it from my adopted daughter. It's only natural to treat Kent as his adopted son-in-law."

Uncle Arborest laughs mischievously. Uncle Arborest laughed and took it upon me even though I might be rebellious against His Majesty.

There's so much I can't tell Kent about today, let's just keep it between me and my uncle.

"Thank you, uncle... no, my stepfather"

"Not yet, your father-in-law is early. If my brother makes a mistake. But the man who approved Kent's marriage would never give it to anyone."

I'm glad to talk about marrying Kent, who jumped out of Uncle Arborest, but I learned that if I don't strengthen Kent, that happiness won't last long. So I have to figure out a way to make Kent stronger.

The first thing you can do is put together a hunting group to gather trusted people to escort Kent. Women only, no matter what. Because if you're the right woman for Kent's eyes, it's Kent's own ability, and you don't have to fear betrayal first. Plus, you can work (activate sexual skills), so you're two birds a stone.

All you have to do is put on Kent's own weapon. I also have to get the finest things.

We need to hurry up and get ready...

"Uncle Arborest, I'm going to do a lot of prepping, so I'm going home."

"Ah, oh. Try to behave with caution. If you're in trouble, you can count on me."

"Yes, thank you for your concern. Now, if you'll excuse me for hurrying."

I thanked Uncle Arborest and left the castle behind.

I was then coming to a blacksmith outside the 'mall' without going back to the house.

"Hey, Miss Milly, it's been a long time. What's it like today?"

A musculoskeletal round boy's magnificent years came out of the blacksmith.

"Hi, I'm here today to ask a favor of Mr. Goleg, the black blacksmith. 'Cause it's a little rushed work."

I pulled Goleg out of the blacksmith into the store. Goleg was eating but was pulled by me and even came to the store counter.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

"Actually, to Goleg, one of the best blacksmiths in Abysvena, I have a weapon I want you to make"

Goleg looked disgusted and turned to the side.

"It's not a busy request when Miss Millie's here."

"Well, I'll play gratuity without saying so"

"You can't help it. So what do you make?

Goleg lowered his hips dokali to a chair that was near the counter.

"Before, you showed me some protective equipment that incorporated magic tools, didn't you?

"Oh, I'm sure it's armor that incorporates Detection."

"Yes, that's it. Can you incorporate more of that or another magic tool?

I asked Goleg what bothered me. Um, maybe the armor that incorporates magic tools can make the strongest armor that can protect Kent.

"Well, if you have to thread the gold, you can attach many, but you have to think about the magic supply."

"Then there's something I want you to make."

I asked Goleg to create a Kent specific weapon and took the time to meet up near evening to return to the mansion.
