Lesson 81 Reality

"Millie, why are you flying so much?"

When I woke up in the morning, Millie suddenly came to my room and told me we were going hunting, and we were shoved into a carriage that was ready without breakfast.

And now he was asking Millie about the hunt in the carriage running at a high speed.

"We have an urgent request! There are demons in the vicinity of a village on the outskirts of Abysvena. I'm flying now to the local village to get rid of it."

"Uh, Mr. Migliaria, patrol security in the village is supposed to be garrison work. Why would you ask a hunter to do that? - It's so evil."

Feria, who works a strangely sharp cane on a natural assault woman's leg, seems to smell something odd on the request Millie received. Millie is also struggling to respond with Feria's scratch.

"Actually, this is a request via Uncle Arborest. You've nominated us. Thank you. He seems to have a bad relationship with the garrison general, so it's hard to ask for patrol security."

Millie told us about her client's feelings with a disgusting face. Millie told me that the lord's arborest had command over the garrison, but it was a decoration, and that the actual practice was as customary as all the garrison generals divided up.

I mean, the garrison generals are reluctant to send out patrol guard soldiers, and it's a hassle to negotiate, so you're plotting to use your niece's hunting regiment to get patrol guards?

"If we don't crusade soon, it could be the worst thing we've ever done, because it was yesterday when the exit was confirmed and the order came from the village."

Millie was as frustrated as she was in a hurry. Secondly, I remembered that I hadn't had breakfast, so I was served a sandwich when I urged Annabella to have breakfast like a fast-eating child.

"Eat Millie, too. You can't hunt while you're hungry."

I gave Millie a sandwich.

"Thank you, Kent."

I decided to finish a light meal outside Aurelia, where you are, to check on the demons confirmed around the village.

I came to ask for help in the village of Godard, further south than Avisvena, where the population is said to be about a hundred cold villages. When I was rocked by a carriage for about two hours, I could see the desired village of Godard.

Compared to the stone splendid walls of Abysvena, the only thing surrounding the village of Godard were the fence-like combinations of trees and the waterways drawn from the river, which were not substitutes to prevent large demons.

He went inside the village and looked at the building, but there was a lack of stone building materials or all the wooden houses.

The villagers had a rare view of the hunting carriage, but eventually walked toward what appeared to be a field with farm tools.

We stopped the carriage in front of a slightly larger house in the middle of the village and we visited the village chief's mansion in Akbes.

Even the village chief's mansion wasn't big enough to let us all in, so me and Millie and Annabella decided to listen to the village chief and the other members decided to have him wait.

Go inside the house and look at Akvez to talk about his work. Mayor Akbes was a middle-aged man with a strong tired impression, although he had a short cut in his late fifties, his hair retracted and had a head like sesame salt.

"Thank you for coming all the way from Avisvena for this. It's a poor cold village, so I can't entertain you..."

"Hospitality is fine. It was more of a request than that. Are you talking about the demons coming out of the village?"

As soon as Millie said no to the hospitality of the village chief of Akbes, she began talking about the details of the request. I'm not sure how to pull this information out, so I'm letting Millie handle it.

Dan!

We were about to sit down and were interrupted by a man who jumped into the village chief's mansion in a hurry.

"Akvez, village chief! Oh, my God! The demons are on the farm!

"What! Everybody let them get away with it!

"I was distracted by the sudden..."

The man who jumped in laid his head on the floor to lie down.

"Village chief! We will dispel the demons, so let the village chief evacuate the villagers. Kent, Mr. Annabella, let's go."

We left the village chief's mansion early to rendezvous with the members and left Manon, Beatrice and Lana on the village defense to take the other members to the farm.

Running for about five minutes, we cut open the woods and rushed to a farm made of them. What we saw was a scene where part of the torso, seen as part of an ex-human behind a big black dog's mouth, was chewed up as it bled out.

"Oh, you're part of that guy... the dog's hanging out... whoops"

I saw a tragic scene where people were preyed on by demons I was shown for the first time, and I put things in my stomach back on the ground.

Furthermore, if you look closely at the place where the dogs are flocking, one of the villagers who looked uncommonly at the wrong carriage when he came had his bowels cut off, and his eyes were void.

A man pulled down by a dog, apparently caught surviving in the back, had his throat chewed off and was desperate to scatter a blood splash without even screaming the terminal demon.

When I was shown a scene of tragic predation by demons, I ran cold all over my body and my body didn't stop shaking with a blurb even though it wasn't cold. That's how I looked. Millie hugged me and talked to me.

"Kent, this is the southern reality of the demonic kingdom. It's a world you didn't know was protected by the walls of Abysvena. Are you scared, Kent? You want to escape? Decide you didn't see it and go home to the mansion? Kent can decide what we do."

Millie embraced me and told me about the reality of the southern region where demons walk wide, pressing me to make a decision on it. I took the facts that were happening in front of me and decided what I could do.

"... I'm scared, and I'd like to escape if I could, but I'm a hunter hunting them, so I'm not going back to the mansion until I've wiped out those dogs! Guys, give me a hand! If there are any survivors, be sure to protect them!

I made the decision to hunt demons. I have the power to defeat them. To name a demon hunter (monster hunter), I must hunt for the life of a demon who travels in front of me.

"Okay. They're all black dogs. They wouldn't be that strong if they were in one piece, but they're attacking us as a group. Don't let them jump and pull you down because it's quick on that. Besides, howling is a signal to call your people, so I suggest you get rid of them before they do."

Millie tells the member about the demon. We ran out on the farm for the black dog (Black Dog) we were walking on our faces.

Wooan.

The hell we noticed sends a squeal of caution to our people. Fifteen black dogs (black dogs) on the farm turned to us all at once.

Grrrrrrrr.

The hell I was closest to rushing over with Tatata.

"Master Kent! We'll be surrounded, so stay back!

Annabella runs up to me, hitting the hell out of my nose with a shield and flickering a black dog.

The black dogs (black dogs) that my people felt had been attacked began to rush towards us all at once.

Lina reacted instantly and succeeded in stopping about two feet by releasing an arrow of fire (a fire arrow) against a black dog (a black dog) rushing towards her without solidification. Millie also succeeds in stopping the whole leg by releasing a fire arrow (fire arrow) following Lina.

"I'm coming. Yikes! Don't be alarmed by the guards, either. Having a system that you can follow as soon as someone is pulled down. If they cut your throat a thousand times, you'll die in one shot. Feria! Be especially careful."

"Mm-hmm, I resolutely protest as a maid warrior against what you say about the luggage sensation tap Miriah!

Feria had succeeded in breaking both her forelegs by slashing her with a double battle axe on a single black dog (Black Dog) who had rushed over to surround her. Feria's attack seems to pass this time because he's a seemingly soft enemy.

As soon as I was relieved of Feria's condition, I was hit and butted by a black dog (Black Dog) that Feria had rushed over to something else.

"Ahhh!

Suddenly, another piece of shit jumps on Feria with her butt.

Grrrrrrrr.

Feria was receiving a jumping black dog (Black Dog) fang with a double battle axe at the right time of the day.

"Feria!

I quickly rush near the Feria and activate my tactical skills [instant protrusion]. Magic power is reduced only about 1/10 thanks to magicians and therapists attached.

"[Transient]! I'm the only one who can get on top of Feria! You stupid dogs!

The entire spear was wrapped in green light like it wrapped around the wind. I rolled a spear at the head of a black dog at high speed.

Don't!

A black dog's head blew up as the spear pierced him.

"Mr. Kent... thank you for your help... the maid suit is vegan (mana) and sticky -"

As I stood Feria up quickly, I pounded her head.

"Feria, there's still a black dog. Don't get distracted!

"Ah, yes! Excuse me -"

Feria enters the follow up with other members as soon as she reclaims her weapon.

Already surrounded by black dogs (black dogs), the rear guards Talia and Lina were also exposed to black dog attacks.

"Talia, Lina! Come near me! If I fight too rosy, I get attacked separately. Lina and Talia go around behind me."

"Okay. The wasp will allow us to focus on recovery behind Master Kent."

Talia ran behind me when she attacked the black dog she was confronting.

"Kent, I'm coming! Wait for me!

Lina also fired an unchanging arrow of fire when she avoided attacking the black dog (Black Dog) she attacked.

"Annabella! My back, please!

"Yes! It's all yours! I will protect you with my life."

When we created a system to protect Lina and Talia, who were vulnerable to physical attacks, with me and Annabella, the surrounding black dogs (black dogs) could only attack Talia and Lina and scratch my shield with their fingernails.

Somewhat, I also suffered a wound, but Talia is holding back right behind me, and it heals the wound immediately.

And Lina calmly handles the black dog (Black Dog) frightened by me and Annabella's attacks.

Eventually, all the black dogs we had surrounded were hunted.

"Millie, are you done?

"Right. There are two of them. Oh, it's over now."

When I saw it, Aurelia's machete glowed golden and cut off two black dogs (black dogs) standing side by side at the same time.

"Lord Kent! Crusade is complete!

Aurelia, who got the [Swordsmith] job, was showing an increasingly monstrous knife technique.

Then, looking around to make sure there were no black dogs left, we collected the bodies of the sacrificed villagers and housed them in the body bags.

Except for Millie, a veteran hunter, who, like me, brings back objects in his stomach, also houses bodies without necks, bodies devoured of his abdomen, bodies with only a portion of his body. The bundle of straw that had been loaded in the middle of the task moved, all of them silently carrying out their work without a word.

"I was still there!

I set up a spare weapon sword.

"Uh-huh. Ohh. Auntie."

The voice heard from inside the straw bundle belonged to the child. Running over to a bunch of voiced straw and searching inside, a child around the age of ten was hiding.

"Brother who? Where are your father and mother?

"He's a survivor! Hey, Talia, come here for a second!

I called Talia and asked her to find out if she was hurt. The hidden child seemed intact.

The child asked me about his parents, but I felt that some of the victims of the black dog (Black Dog) were likely to include the child's parents.

In the meantime, I decided to lay the facts down and protect the child. I think it would be a good idea for the village chief to tell me when the victim has been reconciled. It's too cruel for me to have the courage to tell this kid the truth.

"Kent, let's take this kid and go back and tell the village chief that the crusade is over. Let's leave Anabella and the others on the lookout to avoid being devoured by other demons once the bodies are transported by villagers."

At Millie's suggestion, I'll give directions to everyone.

"Annabella, I'm sorry, but I need you to keep an eye on the body until the villagers get here."

"Okay. I'll be watching you with Aurelia, Feria and Ines."

Annabella thanked me and went to get Aurelia and the others. We entrusted Anabella and the others with guarding the body, and we took the surviving child back to the village chief's house.

"Leanhardt! I was safe!

Going to the village chief's house, the village chief, who saw the surviving child, was rushing over and hugging him. Asked about the circumstances, the surviving child was the grandson of the village chief of Akbes.

"Grandpa, your father and mother are gone. If I was helping you harvest, if your mother suddenly told you to hide in a bunch of straw, something would run around, and after the sound stopped, this brother would pull me out."

Mayor Akbes, who spoke the language of Leanhardt, was dismayed.

We had to tell the village chief Akbes that we had a victim, but we decided to take the village chief outside because it wasn't a story that the Leanhardt boy would be allowed to hear.

"So, how many victims did you get? When I heard about my grandson Leannhardt, at least my daughter and son-in-law didn't seem to work."

Originally I had a strong impression that I was tired and old, but I feel older with this obituary.

"There were already victims when we rushed. However, rest assured that all the black dogs (black dogs) present on the spot have been exterminated. For once, we were allowed to house the body, but I think there are at least four victims. Some of them could only accommodate some of the bodies, so I'd like to ask the village chief and the villagers to confirm and transport the bodies..."

When I heard about Millie, the mayor of Akvez's complexion gets worse and worse.

"Dear Migliaria, thank you for your concern. Please wait while we get the transport personnel out now."

Mayor Akbes behaved with courage and walked towards the villagers who had gathered in the village square to secure personnel for the transport of the bodies.

As I watched behind it, the face of the villager, who was devoured of his bowels and had vain eyes, flashed back. And the face of the villager, who was devoured of his bowels and had vain eyes, floating on the back of Village Chief Akbes, instantly turns into my face. Dokun and my heart rattled, my body temperature accidentally increased and I was blinded.

"Kent... are you okay?

I was worried about me on my knees. Millie supported me.

"Ah, oh. It's okay, Millie. I just remembered that time, because I first saw a dead person, and I was freaked out, and my parents and grandparents were dead, but I wasn't there at the moment of death, and I didn't even know that a human would die."

I felt like this Grimoire has been playing with a sense of game and hunting demons somewhere because of the job and skill that determines its strength, but it's the reality of the powerless who got poked in front of me.

If I hadn't met Millie as soon as I came to this world, I'd have been killed by a silver roach (Silvermantis) and had the same eyes as today's victims.

But I'm empowered to grow infinitely if I try, and I can choose not to see today, to cage inside the walls, to live a slutty life with a woman I like.

Based on this request, I felt the time was approaching to determine where I stood, which I had been obscuring due to the fact that I had been shown reality.

Either the Tsutsu path toward the strong with a constant effort without a pattern, or the path of relying on power and privilege to protect one's own serene life with a lid on smelly things?

Looks like I'm gonna have to choose one of them if I'm going to live in Grimoire.
