Lesson 106: New City Names and First Development Plans

Early on arrival, Ines and Feria introduced me to one girl who wanted to hire a maid. The girl says Dee is a Demon girl. With Millie's permission, I decided to make a career out of it.

I don't know if it would be possible to increase Harlem as soon as I became a lord, but I was a cute kid, so I wasn't lost.

Then, as soon as he moved to his new home, he decided to hold a meeting that brought together all the members and interested parties. Anyway, I thought I had to decide the name of this city first. Because I thought the name of the main city of the Lords' nobility was "Garrison of the East," and the outside world was bad, and I didn't know the attachment of the inhabitants.

I announced today's agenda before the gathered members.

"Today, I asked everyone to come together to decide on the name of the city. Let the opinionated out more and more. I think it's a good name for the people to remember and be familiar with."

The attendees who heard my words raised their voices to have a gawky discussion. The first to cut off the tantrum was still the swine rushing Feria.

"Kent Harlem... I like Kent Harlem -"

Boo!

No! It's Ican! Kent Harlem is no excuse to give descendants such a name!

"Feria! Think about it properly. It's going to be the city where our kids live! Let's not name a city where kids get fingered."

Exactly, Millie went to stop Feria from thinking her name was a mess.

"I'm a city that needs Estefort to protect the east side of the Great Wall."

Ines gave me the name of a city without difficulty. With Estfort, I thought it was a good name to show off the character of the city because it was short and easy to remember and would mean something like a fort to the east.

"How about a hunter nest? This city is gonna be a stash of monster hunters, right?

Millie has also suggested the name of the city. Millie's city name seems to be a good fit for a common name, but would it be a bit lacking in character to make it an official name...

"I think Crimsonburg would be nice! It's Kent's color, and it's gonna be the home of the Red Bride."

Lina's proposed Crimsonburg is also a simple and easy name to remember, and I think it shows up as the home of my hunting group, the Red Bride (CrimsonBride).

"Is there anything else?

"What about Famstadt? Maybe because I think it's gonna be a city with a high female ratio. How about a name like Woman's Garden?

My mother-in-law has suggested it. Thought I was going to make a female-focused city, but I'm not giving a woman preference. I thought it would be a bad idea not to keep men as equal as possible because they are also residents.

Since my opinion seemed to be exhausted, I decided to take a vote in attendance. I decided to Estfort with an overwhelming majority.

Hence, the name of the home base was determined to be 'Estfort'.

"Nanny, think about the announcement text for the residents. Easy to understand, please."

"Yes, I think some residents can't understand the letters just with the announcement, so I would suggest that the oral announcement would be better communicated together"

In the south, many people are demon hunters (monster hunters) who have to read requisitions, etc., and the literacy rate is higher than 30% in other areas, but still about 50%.

But when I go to my people, the Godard tribe is 10 percent literate when I ask Akbes because they make reading and writing computations compulsory, starting at a very young age. The Red Bride (Crimson Bride) also has a 10% literacy rate. The Red War Premature Maiden (Red Valkyrie) was reported to be roughly 70%, with about 50% literacy rate of applicants from the Civil Defense Forces.

I was surprised by the unexpected high literacy rate.

"According to the report, the literacy rate is surprisingly high, but we should also make a verbal announcement."

"Right. Because it's important, the home of the Baron Black Dagger family needs to be recognized by the rest of the world, even Estfort. You should say it verbally."

In the meantime, the name of the city was also decided, so Lila and the others began to beard the painting surface on the round table at short notice.

"Bye, Mr. Kent. Next thing I know, I'd like to go to the city divider description, okay?

"Please, show off your primary development plans that have gathered everyone's views. There may be some amendments at this meeting, but Osamu has reached agreement with her mother-in-law."

"Okay. Ladies and gentlemen, look at the picture surface."

When I dropped my eyes on the drawing surface, Estfort's current city split, which was a garrison built by the Royal Army, was written on a solid line, and the planned development was written on a dotted line.

"First, the primary development encloses the northern and eastern walls of Estfort at about six metres, half of the Great Wall of Defense. This is a barrier to prevent the entry of weak demons from the north."

The drawings now show Estfort surrounded by a wall of five hundred meters square to the north by the Indra plain, to the east by the Offerest coast and to the west by the walls of Abysvena. The southern walls seem to make the four kilometers square a city area, feeling like a combination of great defensive walls.

In short, it seemed to have planned two kilometres east to west and four kilometres north of Estfort, which would defend four kilometres of the eastern Great Wall, as an area of the city.

"Where do we source the materials to build the eight kilometers of barrier in the east and north?

"Manon's questions are the best. In the meantime, the material will be made a priority in the north by diverting stone materials surrounding the current garrison. Still, it's not enough, so I have to look for a stone cutter, but they're planning to use that because there's still a stone cutter when the Royal Army built the land. I think the stone will be used in the house, so I'd like to look for another place."

Lyla said the stone cutter was a stone cutter where the Royal Army raised stone when it built the eastern garrison. Walking northeast about a kilometer from here, it was a small high hill, and it seemed to have been cut out of there.

"The west is a surrogate sulnoca on the walls of Abysvena? With Lord Arborest's permission, Arnoca?

"It's okay, I'm getting it right. There may be complaints from the kingdom, but in the south, Lord Arborest is the same authority as His Majesty. Besides, since none of the next most dangerous human beings in the Fort Fer 'ad garrison, the defense of Abysvena in the south, can be dismissed. So I don't think the Kingdoms can complain about anything."

My father-in-law, Uncle Borderline, is the name of his duties, and the throne of the kingdom is the same as mine. So Avisvena is the land of the kingdom, not the personal territory of his father-in-law. In other words, Arborest is like an administrator seconded by the kingdom.

I thought it would be bad if such a person gave permission to use the land of the kingdom on his own, but my father-in-law seems willing to put me or Millie in his place. From everyday words and deeds, I may be devoting all my love to His Majesty the present Demon King, who abandons the South.

"Well, if I told you my father-in-law was good"

"Nevertheless, it is a vast land. Will it be about the same area as Avisvena?

"That's right. Beatrice. It's about the same size as Avisvena. So I think we're going to end up in a city of about 50,000 people."

When Lyla uttered the final population of the city, the image of me as 50,000 lord didn't sprang up at all. When I start standing over 50,000 people, will I be framed to fight the paperwork like my stepfather did... I want you to give me a break.

"The only primary development plan is the walls? What's left to build?

"Lina, don't panic. The items to be built in the First Development Plan are the East, the Northern Wall, the Lords' Castle, the Three Alliance Joint Hunter Facility, the Royal Army Training Grounds and Barracks, and the Red War Maiden (Red Valkyrie) office and hunter dormitory. The rest of the housing and infrastructure is now secured for two thousand and five hundred people, so I'll keep it that way for a while."

Lyla's first development plan seems to be to surround the walls and finalize the city's territory, build our new home, and prioritize defensive combat facilities and Monster Hunter facilities. Even though it is true that the city has not been formed, it is believed that even if a large number of migrants are recruited, waste will occur. Lila's development plan seems perfect because I think the construction manpower should be sourced from Avisvena.

"That's the whole Estfort First Development Plan thing, do you have any questions?

"Yes, excuse me, but is there a treatment center in the Hunter Facility of the Three Alliances Joint?

Lana has been asking questions. He seemed concerned about the existence of the treatment center.

"It's a treatment center... I asked Dean Werner from Cuffiro of the Magic Guild to talk to me, 'Lord Kent is going to pull out our female therapist again!' They say it's beautiful? Mr. Kent, did you do anything rude to Mr. Werner?

Lyla came to see if I did something to Werner. All I know is I went to ask for Lana, Talia and Vealis to be ours exclusively...

"About three people, they just let me pull out a female therapist... was it awkward?

"Yes, because therapists are precious. Dean Werner and all three of them would be pissed off if they pulled out..."

Lana came up with an opinion knowing there was no staff assignment from the treatment center.

"Again, you didn't let Dean Werner out. I have no choice. I, Talia and Vealis will launch a treatment division. There were several nurse jobs attached to Godard women in the last defensive battle, so I'll set up a chamber with them. In the meantime, treat the Royal Army of Estfort, the Red Bride (Crimson Bride) and the Red Bride (Red Valkyrie) for free, while treating others for a fee."

"Need a fine treatment center like Avisvena?

I've been checking the size of the treatment facility that Lila didn't have in her plan.

"No, you don't need a fine facility like that. I wish I had a bed with thirty beds and a check-up room, a mixing room, and a medicine locker."

"Thirty beds... no private rooms on the second floor of the joint facility... let's move the private rooms to the back of the ground floor... not enough space... maybe we'll just add more..."

"Mother-in-law, if it's difficult..."

"No, you can. It's gonna be a bit of a big facility, but it's gonna be fine. It's a central facility, so let's make it big at this time."

"Thank you. Mr. Lyla."

At Lana's suggestion, the three-guild joint facility would also be equipped with a treatment center. Now it seems that the monster hunter is about to visit this facility.

However, the shortage of therapists is serious. Although the hospital will be tough for the three therapists, and it will be difficult to accompany Lana and the others on the crusade. All I can think of is a grant to train a large number of nurses to go to Avisvena for a therapist exam, and I can inject a woman in my hand with a magician's exam to become a magician and take a therapist's exam.

But the latter can't do without me murmuring, and I honestly don't want to do it because it's pretty tough. It seems inevitable that we will have to increase the former grant by training nurses and giving them a boost to the therapist certification examination.

"We also need to secure a therapist. Many people will get injured or sick from construction or hunting."

"Mr. Kent, I will be responsible for nurturing you there, too. I should like to tell Mr. Werner that I will assume the office of dean. Therefore, it will not be possible for me to accompany you to the crusade at the dawn of the completion of the division, but you may take either Talia or Vealis."

"Okay. Do me a favor, Lana."

"I'll take care of it"

Lana's participation in the crusade was a period of time until the Chamber was complete. They will participate in the crusade again if they have some talent in the chamber. He can no longer accompany the crusade, but he will continue to work for you.

"There was just an addition to the treatment division. Well, it's a city zoning... first of all, the Lords' Hall. I'll put two hundred meters in the center of the city as a mansion block. And the streets that connect the east, west and north gates are two on each side, so that a total of four carriages are fifteen meters wide."

"What, do you take fifteen meters in the street? That's a bigger street than Avisvena, isn't it?

It is true that Avisvena has a narrow street and only one carriage can pass, so accidents often occur where people and carriages come into contact. Did Lyla widen the road to prevent it?

"That's right. If the road is narrow, there will be an accident, and Estfort will open the streets to the King's Capital and other merchants. As a matter of confidentiality, we have received the assurance that we will not impose an entry tax on travel with Estfort under an agreement with Mr. Arborest, so we will not impose an entry tax on anyone who comes from anywhere."

"What! Inbound taxes are a valuable source of income, aren't they? You're not taking it?

My mother-in-law began to say she would not take an entry tax, an important source of income for the city. If you do that, the Black Daggers will go bankrupt without tax revenues rising.

"That way, profit-savvy merchants move their base of commerce from Avisvena to Estfort, where there is no entry tax"

"Why are you moving it? Advantageous?

"Mr. Kent. Think about it. We don't have a city entry tax, but Avisvena costs three copper coins per person at a time. You know this, don't you?

Looks like Lyla chews it up carefully and explains it to me.

"Oh, you will."

"That's where the words taken from Lord Arborest come to life." Travel with Estefort is not subject to city tax. "

I came to the pin when I heard the words Lyla highlighted.

"Well, if you go to Estfort without City Entry Tax, you become a store, you build a warehouse, you collect supplies, and you bring them from there to Avisvena, you get zero City Entry Tax!

"It's obvious that groceries and groceries and clothing that are frequently used to set up warehouses in Estefort called stores. That's why we're widening the streets."

If I knew that transportation expenses would be reduced, the logistics that were going directly to Avisvena would change so that they would flow through my Estfort into Avisvena.

"That's it, I can't believe you're thinking and planning... my mother-in-law is awesome"

"Instead of selling the land along the street to the merchants, if you rent out the parcel cheaply, the contract fee will come in permanently. That's one of the sources of income for the Blackdagger family, which translates into a city tax."

"Mother... I don't know... my uncle... isn't my father-in-law going to tear me back?

"It's okay. I told Mr. Arborest that we should impose a special tax on goods to the western garrison, because if the logistics flow changes, the western garrison will have to be transported from the Wang capital by itself or bought from Avisvena, even if it is expensive. You can suck Abysvena out of the kingdom."

"Is it cheaper to buy from Avisvena than to transport yourself from Wangdu... and some merchants send you west from us?

"In that case, if you put a special tax ten times and a hundred times on lord's authority, no one wants to do it. You can make implicit rules like we shouldn't sell west."

I was reminded of the scare of a city gripped by logistics in Lyla's words. Conversely, I realized that it would be very difficult if we were suppressed from logistics, so I wanted to coexist successfully with the merchant in charge of logistics.

"Wide streets await a vast plan..."

"That's right. The next most important thing on the walls. Okay, next on the defensive side. The Royal Army barracks and training grounds, from the present garrison, will take a section to the east. Red Valkyrie's office and hunter's quarters are to be taken to the west, and the entire south side of Estefort is to be a residential block for defense personnel and hunters."

The defense placed an emphasis on the great southern defensive wall, which was to be as simple as a surveillance tower and a canopy.

"There have been no large-scale raids by demons from the north since ancient times, so we will place a thick defensive force to the south. North is like guards and watchmen."

"The Red Wars Maiden (Red Valkyrie) is also in defense? Beginner-supported hounds, right?

Looks like Feria questioned the incorporation of the Red Warfare Maiden (Red Valkyrie) into her defensive force.

"Mr. Feria, the Red War Maiden (Red Valkyrie) is a hunting group funded by the Black Daggers. No matter how many beginners, it would be normal to be mobilized for a crisis in your home. However, the only mobilization of the Red War Maiden (Red Valkyrie) was when Master Kent issued a general mobilization order. Usually the Royal Army will take care of it."

"Oh well. The ultimate soldier. Then you can't help it."

"Even for me, the Red Warfare Maiden (Red Valkyrie) is the last thing I want to do."

"Dear Hall, I have another request..."

Akvez, who was listening, made a request.

"May I ask the Royal Army to scout those graduating from Lord Juliana's Red War Maiden (Red Valkyrie) as female officers?

"Female officer?

"Yes, maybe, but I thought the Royal Army and the ratio of women would be higher, so I wanted to make a path for the recruitment of female officers..."

At present a tenth of the quorum, but given the ratio of female soldiers to the Royal Army, which plans to swell up to a maximum of 2,500, it would seem necessary to secure a significant number of female officers. The truth would be that even if we let Akvez do the man's training, we won't be able to get around to training female officers.

"I would also ask Lord Juliana... to graduate from the Red War Maiden (Red Valkyrie) and take on all those who want to move to the army if they have even cleared the issue of funding"

Frist also seemed to care about the small number of troops in action. Even though the inhabitants were still not very good, they were completely understaffed when they included security, vigilance and even patrolling.

"But we also expanded Bacalida by placing the guy who grew up in the last defense battle on PL (Party Leader). Nurturing Dequinaizo That Easy"

Giuliana is right. The Red War Maiden (Red Valkyrie) has just accepted and expanded female applicants from the Resident Defense Corps, and the overall level has dropped. For a while it was thought that the talent generation was tough.

So I made a suggestion to two members of the Royal Army.

"Cadets take a recruitment exam from the Red Warfare Maiden (Red Valkyrie) every six months, and the soldiers apply for immediate integration. However, if you think about Juliana, you can only go beyond HR20, the Red Valkyrie graduation guide."

"Wait, Kent. Then the Red War Maiden (Red Valkyrie) goes to the training institute for female soldiers, Nutesimau. At least give me freedom of choice, Cle."

Giuliana doesn't seem willing to make the Red War Maiden (Red Valkyrie) a training institution for female soldiers.

"Then the hunter who reaches HR20 is given the right to three types of tests: the Red Bride (Crimson Bride) Hunter Exam, the Red War Maiden (Red Valkyrie) PL (Party Leader) Exam, and the Royal Army Cadet Exam, as well as four options: independently forming a Hunter Corps, moving to another Hunter Corps, transferring, and recruiting as a Royal Army. In total, I'll let you make seven choices, so what do you say?

"Well... if you get to HR20, you'll be able to eat quite a bit as a demon hunter (monster hunter), and show that's all you have to do to get Aggerellnara."

Giuliana seems convinced. I want to keep the Red War Maiden (Red Valkyrie) in a hunting group of about 250 to 300 people at all times. And there is also the desire to keep it an organization where new talent is always generated.

"Thank God. Juliana. Frist, Akbes, this is it, okay? We will continue to be understaffed for a while, but we can also tolerate marginal recruitment from applicants and have our brothers and sisters called here. There's plenty of barracks left."

"Ha ha, Master Miyagi. Thank you for your consideration. The female applicant is at the disposal of Lord Giuliana."

"Idalou, I've been entrusted"

Akbes and Frist took their seats in thanksgiving.

"On the defensive side, now you're okay. At the end of the day, there's a plan for your new castle."

Nanny and Helga extended the third picture surface to the round table. The expanded drawing surface contained a plan for the new home. Two floors in total stone construction, fifty private rooms, dinner room, playroom, ballroom, treasure trove, gaze room, office room, operation conference room, living room, reception room, dining room, cooking area, toilet, garden, garage and horse room were written. Lina's requested library room has also been added, and Aida's workshop was built with annex handling.

But I didn't see the key thing. I ask my mother-in-law in a hurry.

"Oh, mother-in-law! Don't have a bath! Baburn doesn't have a bathroom like a deckaypool. My eyes must have gone crazy!

My mother-in-law was surprised when she saw me in a panic.

"What! Mr. Kent, I like baths! They didn't say a word about it, so I was hoping I'd get it done in the joint bathroom!

We all look surprised by the words of our mother-in-law. My mother-in-law seemed to think I had a common perception that I liked bathing.

"Oh, Mother. Didn't you know Kent likes baths..."

"What time did you tell me that?

I was stunned to hear the conversation between my mother and daughter. The Avisvena Mansion has been disposed of. The bath that I thought was my patience for a while until the new building was ready disappeared. My jerk suddenly waned.

"I can't believe it's a life without a bath... I can't stand it... I'm going back to my old mansion! Millie, I'm buying that mansion back! Take a bath!

I was confused about losing my bath. It's just as dangerous as taking a knife from Aurelia.

"Ke, Kent, calm down. That mansion has been manned. It's not our mansion anymore!

"Mr. Kent's request can still be fulfilled, calm down. Lord, it's one of the main baths. It's a mess!

Speaking of which, it was still at the drawing surface stage. I was told that it was possible to change the design because it was before construction, so I regained my composure.

"This is an ugly place to look… Mother-in-law"

"I didn't hear Mr. Kent's request. It's my downfall. In the meantime, how about a big open-air bath in this place? It's getting taller, and you can pull the tap and warm it up with a 'heat pump'."

My mother-in-law added a pretty big open-air bath to the back of the hall. It was an open-air bath that was perfectly fine for everyone to come in.

"The castle is fine now, too. We're going to start construction tomorrow, so we won't be accepting design changes after this meeting."

"If you agree with the First Development Plan and the New Castle Hall proposal from Administrator Lyla, please raise your hand"

Millie asked everyone to raise their hands to vote. And everyone's hands went up. This led to the start of the first step in Estfort development.
