Lesson 123 Aftermath

"Dear Mr. Gwayne, I have a letter from General Gertrude, who sent me to the south."

The secretary who came into the office handed me a single letter. When he receives it, he cuts the seal, widens the letter and drops his eyes on the contents.

The letter spelled out the report from Gertrude. The content was accompanied by frustrations about pulling from his younger brother, Arborest's Southern Dispatch, and resentment at being lured into a massive space-time rift (crack) to destroy the army.

"You gel trout... crush the face of the eagle... isn't this the same as Carwai..."

I tore up and threw away the finished letter.

All the time, these guys are useless!

"Dear Mr. Gwayne, what's wrong?

"Gertrut has destroyed the army. Now we must prepare another army to hide from His Majesty and send to the south..."

"Is it the formation of a new contingent... the last contingent is also a personnel that we managed to muster, so when it comes to compiling a contingent of the same size, it's not enough soldiers without recruiting volunteers from the citizens. It doesn't matter to the officers."

"Recruit soldiers as a measure of unemployment… so we can reduce the number of criminal reserves and maintain the security of the King's capital."

Wang Du also had more unemployed in the past few years, and the whole city was overflowing with unemployed. They were dissatisfied with their voices and drooling disturbing air all over the city. I've decided to recruit those criminal reserves as my next second-department soldier and send them south.

Because if you do, the disturbing signs of the king's capital will also seem a little soothing. Besides, I thought it would be just the right mouthdrop where they drowned wild.

"Dear Mr. Gwayne, That's a good idea. Now, let's also select dispatched officers to focus on the disturbing signs of the Demons, the Garuda, the Rakha, etc. We should keep them away from His Majesty."

"Well, we should send in the wild to die in the south."

"Now we're going to hit the secondary dispatch team."

"I would like to report to Your Majesty that a private patrol unit will be created to combat unemployment. I'll take care of the paperwork."

"Ha ha, I'll take care of it"

The secretary left the office to pay his respects. Again, the troops dispatched from the south will send in to abandon those who are unhappy with us, so whether they destroy them or not, it will not hurt or itch. Rather, it is difficult to believe that the soldiers sent in will do evil in the south.

Concon!

The office door was knocked when I was paranoid.

"Who?

It's Suaven.

"Get in."

When the office door opened, a man in a black-clad robe came in. This is Sven, the head of my exclusive intelligence organization. Only when he visits my office is when he has urgent business to attend to.

"What's up? Is this an emergency?

"Yes, critical information has come up from a reinforced intelligence organization in the Duchy of Black Dragon these days."

The Duchy of the Black Dragon, led by Empress Fabranova, is a principality with strict power even in my true demonic kingdom, and they are troublesome people who will give some opinions over me with power.

"Critical information?

"Yes, apparently the Empress has a daughter. Even if his father is Lord Craid the Demon..."

When I heard the report, I almost lost my temper. It is also surprising that Fabranova was making a child, but I was even more surprised to hear that his father was the true demon hero, Crade. These two have both approved [red]. I mean, these two kids are very likely [red].

At that moment, I thought I had to wipe out the child between them because of Antai of Shifa, who is now His Majesty the Demon King.

If you don't, there's no point in letting Shifa marry my daughter. [Red] If the holding grows and the ability blossoms, you can't fathom it with [Purple]. In fact, Cifa or I wouldn't be able to fathom Fabranova or Crade.

Since the two men with [red] did not participate in the "Eight Parts of Great Martial Arts," which is the divinity of the succession to the throne, Shifa was able to assume the post of Demon King. If either of them had run for office, it would probably have never happened for Shifa to be the Demon King.

But the two were totally unmarked because they were distant from politics, wandering into one or another realm, or traveling one or the other.

"Stupid! Fabulanova told me she's my daughter! And he said his father was a Craid! Where did this report come from?

"Ha ha, it came up by someone who recently made me sneak into the Duchy of Black Dragon's office as a maid of honor. It seems highly informative."

"Damn, so how old is my daughter?

"Yes, I seem to be sixteen years old"

He said he was sixteen years old... a child that His Majesty had made before he took office as Demon King... and yet the two of them had raised him in hiding. There must be something.

"What's your name?

"Delprius and the report are up. I tried accessing the card information, but no Black Dragon woman of the same name was registered..."

"You don't have any card information?

"Yes, about three people of the same name are registered, but one man, two women and both women are registered as Demons."

I don't think there's any reason why you haven't even been issued... or are you living at your mother's place?

"Does a daughter named Delprius live in a public house?

"No, I've never seen anything from an infiltrator."

If you're not in the office, you're likely living elsewhere, or traveling with your father, Clade.

"Well, then find out where his father, Crade, is. Maybe with my daughter."

"Dear Mr. Gwayne, What if we find our daughter?

"Turn it off."

Your Majesty has trouble keeping his enemies alive. The next Demon King must be succeeded by the grandson my son has given birth to. So, if the Duchy of Black Dragon goes into hostilities, it will mobilize all the Royal Army troops and destroy them.

"Ha, I get it. Whatever you say. And I hear your southern brother has been working hard lately. They've sealed off massive space-time cracks these days."

"Ahhh, I learned about that in Gertrude's letter earlier. It's about Arborest, so it could be something else this time."

Arborest asked his daughter's son-in-law, Kent, to successfully seal off the crack (crack) in time and space that Gertrut had failed. Following the defense of the Warcraft Crusade and the Great Attack, the young man named Kent has given him a medal. The person named Kent, written in Gertrude's letter, is a woman lover and can only be read as a color mess.

"Souven. What do you think of the young man named Kent?

"We think we have quite a bit of talent at General Kent's disposal. The size of the army is small, but many of the cadet classes are good. The Hunting Regiment, which heads its own hunting regiment, is home to a competent demon hunter."

"Do you have all the talent... you don't think I'm just a lady and a colorful kid?

"I don't think Master Migliaria is just a lady lover and marries a color-bogged kid. He seems to have some kind of secret."

I was wondering if I should put Kent on surveillance. Because I don't think it's a good idea to put surveillance on him and rub it with unwanted misunderstandings on his stepfather, Arborest.

"SUVEN. Should we put surveillance on Kent?

"The obvious watchman could be misleading given what happened with Master Arborest, so I was wondering if it would be nice to have the secondary dispatcher mix the coxoli with the infiltrators and get them into Lord Kent's army or the hunting team in a way that responds to the pull-out."

It was also written in Geltrault's letter that Kent was receiving the talent that Arborest pulled out, so Souven's proposed measures seemed like a good idea.

"Okay, so let's go. I hope the surveillance level is low."

"Yes, I don't see any hostile behavior at the moment, so I was wondering..."

"Okay, please."

"Ha ha."

Souven graciously left the office.

Then, as expected, Arborest sent a letter asking for a reward for this crusade. It also said that he was politely rescuing and protecting Gertrut, and that he was currently keeping the western garrison.

"You gel trout! I didn't expect you to be protected by Arborest... it wasn't in that letter!

I broke my pen in frustration. Because I didn't think that Gertrude, who thought he was returning to the garrison by gathering the defeated soldiers, was protected by Arborest by literal devastation.

The secretary who brought Arborest's letter was sighing.

"Unfortunately, it seems to be true. Lord Gertrude is staying at Lord Arborest's mansion."

"Nevertheless, the claim for the prize is too huge. They're asking for permission to collect the western garrison and this war contribution, as well as the salaries of the officers who transferred to it. Plus, he admitted his daughter's son-in-law Kent's army as a regular army and included salary payments."

"Well, that's a little too greedy..."

The Arborest guy can see through his stomach trying to get money from me using Gertrude and the west garrison as collateral.

"But I can't translate to handing over the western garrison… Gertrut sends a letter to let him ransom himself. I'm a businessman, but I'm not going to pay for it. Have Arborest submit a register of transferees. And let Kent put out a list of Estfort army enrollments at the moment. I'll pay you because I have no choice."

"Yes, I'll give you a circular like that"

If you can glue this glitch with gold, you've never gone beyond it. It is cheap to think of this fact as a stopping fee for His Majesty not knowing it. Nevertheless, there are no personnel in the army. Geltraut, who I thought could be used, was exposed to be no more than a general once his men were pulled out.

I have used loyalty as a guide for general registration, but I never thought that only those so incapacitated.

The southern part of the country is dangerous… I don't think we can do any proper military work without considerable human resources. We'll have to reappoint Geltraut for a while, including the meaning of punishment. If he can learn from this defeat, he should grow a little.

Secondary dispatchers are troops of volunteers and officers with problems of loyalty who gather quality unemployed, so it's not too bad to destroy them. However, there is no reason to abandon the garrison only in view of the fact that it is the only base of the Royal Army that can be kept in the south at the same time as it is a city built at huge building costs.

If we abandon the western garrison, we will lose our stronghold to keep the south from becoming independent as a frontier country. Many people who have lived in the south for a long time do not follow central control, causing disturbances many times in the past, so I can't help but be distracted.

"Speak to the Minister of Military Affairs about Arborest's payment, and we can call it the creation of the Southern Core Corps."

"Yes, I'll let the military pay for it."

"And keep the King's Capital vigilante on the loose."

"Yes, I'll tell him"

The secretary ran away.

Damn, all the trouble happens...
